hello, i remember seeing one time that a group wasn't allowed to use their phones until they reached a certain goal (i think it was first music show win thing) and was wondering if there are more examples of things groups aren't allowed to do until certain amounts of success? sorry if this is too vague of a question, or if this is not the right sub submitted by /u/jay_saihara [link] [comments]

3. Looking for Canadian girls to form a global-style girl group (inspired by Katseye, Chloe x Halle, etc)

  • reddit.com language

Hi! I’m looking to put together a Canada-based girl group inspired by global pop/K-pop acts like Katseye. The idea is to start as a small team (3–5 people) doing covers—singing, dancing, —and posting regularly on social media platforms. From there, we can train together (online or in-person if possible), build a group identity, write our own material, and eventually audition for global projects or agencies. Looking for: Female, 18–25 (flexible if you’re passionate) Based in Canada (local is a bonus, but online collab works too) Into singing, dancing, rapping, or all-round performance Willing to practice and post content consistently If you’re interested, please send a DM to connect further. Looking forward to making something amazing together ✨ submitted by /u/Used_Throat6427 [link] [comments]

4. What are some songs that were (undeservedly) slept on?

For me, I think it was the entirety of Minnie’s solo album. Blind Eyes Red & Cherry Sky had such strong potential and deserved to make more noise. What songs do you think deserved more attention than they initially received? submitted by /u/Zealousideal-Cap2725 [link] [comments]

5. This AI trend with idols is RIDICULOUS

  • reddit.com language

I've been seeing (mainly on tiktok) some people """""editing"""" their photos with their idols as a trend, using generative AI. I feel like this is INSANELY disrespectful. Not "oh my god it's just a trend!!!" it's not?????? Feeding their faces, >your own too< to AI isn't a good idea. As a victim of deepfakes/AI editing I must say that even if it starts as harmful as "let me do them hugging me!!!!" it can and WILL feed shady stuff even if it's not your intentional. Unfortunately, human misuse of AI is happening a LOT – and as a comp sci student myself, I include this kind of usage into "misuse" too, not mentioning that you're using images of other people without their consent. I can't see it as "just a trend", really. submitted by /u/glitter_I [link] [comments]

6. Looking for song recs with that “alive / fireworks/youthful" vibes

Hey everyone! I’m looking for songs that have the same kind of alive, sparkling, youthful energy as: Firework by &TEAM Under the Skin by &TEAM Thursday’s Child Has Far to Go by TXT The type of songs that feel like watching fireworks or crackers explode in the night sky where the sound itself feels like a moment of aliveness. Would love to hear any recommendations with that uplifting, emotional, “I’m alive right now” vibe! submitted by /u/tulipslilly [link] [comments]

7. What's a good amount of photocards in an album?

  • 1 hour ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

This question came to my mind when I opened my new SKZ Karma albums and was a little disappointed that you only get 1 random pc (depends on the album and +1 for POB and or limited version). So I'd say 2 to 3 PCs per album is totally fine and perfect in my opinion. If you have a small group with about 5 or less members I'd say 2 PCs is a good amount. If you have a bigger group with around 8 members I'd definitely say more than 3 PCs is a good amount. Maybe make a 4th unit PC or so. And anything higher than 8 members should definitely get 4 to 5 PCs. Or is that too much? 😅 On the other hand - a solo artist, I'm totally fine with only getting 1 PC per album. Some solo albums I own tend to have more PCs in it than the actual albums of the groups - so that's shocking. What do you think? (This question is also only for the random PCs since some albums tend to have something like trading cards, special cards or so where you get almost a full set of the members or just a group photo - but the pictures on the cards are always the same) submitted by /u/vdrawer [link] [comments]

8. Roast your favorite idol in one line.

Time for some fun. Roast your favorite idol in one line only. Make it funny, clever, or absurd. But don’t be mean-spirited. I’ll start: ( I stan a lot of groups so I'll go for ults ) RM : RM’s deep thoughts are just him wondering where he left his hoodie. Scoups : He calls himself a leader, but half the time he looks like he lost his own group. I don't think these sound like roasts. But,... Whatever. 19. MoshiMoshi by UNIS is really nice for a Japanese debut

  • 4 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

What are you guys opinions? I feel like they and ILLIT have made really strong sounding Japanese debuts, not like releasing Kpop songs with Japanese lyrics but it feels like something a fan of Jpop but not a fan of Kpop would listen to. The MV is also so adorable, it feels like a early 2020s release MV (but maybe thats just because it reminds me of Glass Shoes by fromis_9 and Blue Hour by TXT😭) submitted by /u/midnightdancing12 [link] [comments]

20. Kpop songs you think would be actually worthy of winning a grammy?

  • 4 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I don't know if it will ever happen, but are there any kpop songs were you think the production and/or the lyrics would justify it getting a grammy? I think this has been on my mind lately because Butter by BTS has so far been the only Kpop song ever nominated, but I personally think a song like that isn't worthy of winning a grammy (especially given they made Black Swan around the same time) So, here are mine (also yes I'm aware the grammys aren't end all be all, after all if they would be atleast one of these songs should have won by now) submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]

21. Is IU the most beloved celebrity in the whole S.Korea industry?

I was just watching IU's latest drama and browsed through some fan interactions and noticed how constant warm welcome she gets everywhere she goes. I haven't seen any haters in the internet about her, would you guys agree with this sentiment or are there any other celebrity that is highly regarded in the culture? I'm curious submitted by /u/TmJ1027 [link] [comments]
