Which idols make you feel like you attending their own concerts instead of an award show? It can be groups or solos. Tell me! Means their stage presence is good or they know how to hype up the room. For me, It's Seventeen in recent years. Like we really feel happy when we watch their performance. We enjoy it, not only their fan but everyone there enjoy their perfomances, both idols and fans from from other fandoms too. I'm not telling this because I'm an Carat (Seventeen's fan) but based on my real feelings. Besides that, I think Bigbang has always been like that. They are legendary. I can hear the similarities but honestly I’ve heard a ton of songs with that same kind of vibe. Still if the original artist is saying “hey this is basically my song” then that speaks louder than whatever I think. And honestly this is just classic YG behavior: ripping off Black artists, profiting off Black culture, and never giving credit. Treating Blackness like a costume their idols can put on and take off whenever it’s trendy. They’ll steal the music, the style, the attitude, package it for profit and then pretend it was all original. As I have said before, Kpop needs a YG cleanse.
