Sometimes I think we forget that behind every perfect stage and music video are people who train for years, work exhausting hours, and give up a lot of their personal lives to make this music we all love. Whether itâs rookies pulling all-nighters to prepare for their debut or veterans still pushing themselves a decade in, their dedication is honestly inspiring. And even though the industry isnât perfect, I think we should pause more often to just appreciate how much heart and effort idols put into their craft. This isnât about fanwars or favoritism I feel this way about all of them. K-pop wouldnât exist without their passion, and they deserve more recognition for it. submitted by /u/Physical_Ship_5717 [link] [comments]

This album express what i wanted from girls for very long time, love their new direction (they always come with new concepts), this electric pop, dark vibe suits them well, they didn't miss for a bit in this album, i never expected this kind of album coming from yg but its good to see they are exploring more styles....SO Title track "We go Up", maybe MV stole more attention (damn! what was the budget btw, it is the most coolest MV), maybe song isn't very addictive becoz of its hook just like 'Drip' or 'Sheesh', but I would say it is just PERFECT, rap, vocals, instrumentation, beat, lyrics, MV.....everything is perfect. "PYSCHO"- ngl, it took crown from me, best song from the album (no doubt why this was the runner up for title track), i have no words for this....one last wish is that i hope they promote this song well too along with title track "SUPA DUPA LUV"- I love the duality and creativity shown in this, best example of utilization of their talent imo "WILD"- the fact they did this genre already impress me, rap feel bit out of place or maybe not necessary but overall it is good overall, they seem to be in their full villain era, and i am loving this new era of them, girls truly deserve lots of praise this time submitted by /u/Loud-Conference-990 [link] [comments]

Even after winning the ballroom isac dance X:IN nova didn't got her thumbnail while most of isac clips by mbc had either winner or all the participants on the thumbnail đ. Just because you will get more views cause of XIAOTING they should not do injustice to her they are small groups these small things helps them very much also xin aria preliminary round which she won was not posted while other clips of race was posted on yt. When small groups do something just don't give them their sharesđ submitted by /u/fuckingsexx [link] [comments]
i always stop on posts on here and on kpophelp that ask for girl group songs that are heavy/aggressive in a similar way bg music is. my all time faves are 3ye, but i hate that they've disbanded, so i went out looking some more and just recently discovered Craxy's disco. i've known of their existence for a while but i was only familiar with Nugudom. looking through their songs though i'm realizing they're basically skz if they reincarnated as women and went nugu. some songs i really recommend: Stupidz, Finger Flick, Lion, Trigger, Poison Rose, Crazy Racer, No Limit, and Gaia. I'm still learning about the members and they really don't have much out but their rap line is soo talented. i'm only posting this hoping they can get more traction. we never had that many heavier-sounding ggs in the first place, but it's sad that the few we have are disbanding, so i really wish them longetivity! submitted by /u/maimaobong [link] [comments]
First Hot Sauce, now We Go Up. I know song titles arenât copyrighted and itâs totally fine, but it still feels a bit weird when itâs the exact names of two of NCT Dreamâs songs. No hate at all, I actually like Babymonster and think their vocals are amazing and unique. It just caught my eye and made me wonder if itâs coincidence or something the team didnât notice. Youâd think editors or the marketing team would pick up on that kind of overlap lol? submitted by /u/buckpineapple [link] [comments]

Iâm dreading every single lee hyori 10 minutes reel that makes it to my feed because the comments are so predictable every single time. This is something that a lot of people arenât realising and I need to put it out there. Even though people mention other things too lets talk about lee hyoriâs skin tone during that time. A lot of comments talk about how refreshing it is to see an idol have tanned skin and not be whitewashed. Do you guys not see the concept? Her stage props, outfits and makeup and very inspired by america and this is what idols call a âhipâ(lmao) or âsexyâ concept. That concept is why she is allowed to be tanned. That concept is why it was okay and people praised her. Take a look at kiss of life. Their entire concept is also âwesternâ âsexyâ and âhipâ. Iâm using these words very lightly. But because of that concept, the members are allowed to be curvy or tanned. Its not revolutionary now it wasnât revolutionary then. If anything its very regressive and stereotypical to associate tanned or darker skin with sensuality or sexiness. If these idols had to do an âelegantâ concept, they wouldnât be tanned even in 2nd gen. Colorist attitude in east and south east asia has existed since decades before kpop even started. It existed in 1995 and it exists in 2025. Not to mention, nothing is natural about how they looked. Female idols back then were also super skinny and had flawless hair and makeup. An average korean person did not look like snsd yoona. So back then, they did look otherworldly and like celebrities the same way wonyoung looks otherworldly to us. Skincare and the beauty industry have advanced and developed a lot since 2nd gen so of course idols use all sorts of treatments and products to enable the same standards that existed since before they were born. It just wasnât as accessible back then. And whatâs the obsession with looking natural anyway? Kpop makeup is art in itself. Its constantly evolving and has employed so many people and provides livelihood to them. Its a creative outlet that has to match various concepts and needs special attention to customise the technique according to the idolâs face. The same can be said about outfits. End of the year award show outfits for girl groups are STUNNING these days. The amount of work, quality and thought thatâs put into them despite the schedules of the stylists is remarkable. Even if theyâre outsourced, its providing livelihood to so many freelance designers. Kpop is not relatable or simple or natural. Its about putting up a show. If idols remained the same since 2006, their western counterparts would be on a completely different scale when it comes to shows now. Imagine idols still wearing tank tops and using a hand held mic in 2025 while america has superbowl. Performance scales have raised globally due to better production and technology. So why is this used as a way to belittle idols now? submitted by /u/eiuza [link] [comments]
I love it personnaly, and I'm happy the title track has lyrics if I can say and not the same way of drip and sheesh like. And I think the high notes are where they have to be. Everyone shine but I love Rora has more vocals and Ahyeon's high notes don't seem too much imo. Plus I really love their concept and the MV. If you don't like it if you can please explain why and be respectful please. EVERYONE HAS THEIR OPINION THANKS submitted by /u/Fragrant-Loquat1777 [link] [comments]
I feel like Jump isn't as known as their previous comebacks? I mean - I love all their songs, their music is amazing. But this year, the song felt like it wasn't popular at all or maybe that's just me. I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts though. submitted by /u/Sea-Republic8892 [link] [comments]
