I've been visiting older kpop groups like 2pm&am, SHINee, SuperJunior, 2NE1, BIGBANG etc., and 3rd generation groups like Day6, Monsta X, sf9, etc. I was looking for song suggestions by groups preferably anything before or during 3rd gen. I do lean more towards boy groups but I'll listen to both! I really like Day6 a lot! So maybe something similar. submitted by /u/Invqlid [link] [comments]
Title ^ I would personally love to see BLACKPINK, I’m more of a casual listener but their concerts seem fun and their songs would probably sound great live. I would also like to see EXO and TVXQ for their vocals (and great discography). How about you? submitted by /u/MyOrgel [link] [comments]
I've heard so many "the stars aligned" moments, so give me your favorite fun fact about a group. Formation stories, member connections, whatever you have. Examples like Momo and Sana meeting on their first flight to Korea, Yujin and Wonyoung being born exactly 365 days apart, Mingi and Yunho being best friends and both secretly getting accepted to KQ, and so on. submitted by /u/soupclub [link] [comments]

The name of the group is baby DONT cry. I can't believe I only just heard about this but I'm definetly looking forward to it. Soyeon is a talented producer and I feel like this could further show her skills while also helping these gorgeous girls to create a girl group career. Now this mv was really interesting. I liked the mv and it seems they have a kinda fun energetic teen in love kinda vibe which seems nice. Overall though I'm really looking forward to seeing where this groups go's! submitted by /u/baldism [link] [comments]

Disclaimer, I’m arguing against children being bound to almost decade long contracts, not the way Newjeans is attempting to leave Ador now. When the Newjeans members signed a 7 year long contract on July 21, 2022 until July 31 2029 the members were all underage. Hyein was 14, Haerin 16 (my year), Dani 17, Hanni 17 turning 18, and Minji 18. (Pretty sure this is right but do correct me if I’m wrong). I don’t know if their reason for wanting to terminate their contract is reasonable or not, we will see. However, should they even be in this position in the first place? Should children really be signed to almost decade long contracts (by their parents) in the first place? I think when you are signed to a contract when you are underage you should be allowed to terminate it or renegotiate it whenever you like (something like that). Obviously this creates complications but I don’t know. Anyway There is a reason we have protective laws for those underage, why? Well because we’ve determined that children are a vulnerable population, they lack a capacity to think reasonably. So why can they sign contracts such as these, I’m not to sure, but it seems immoral. So, I think, Newjeans are inherently correct. These contracts they signed when they were not legally adults that they can’t escape is in my opinion proof enough of mistreatment. This goes with every group. Maybe I’m wrong, I’d like to see justification for enslaving children to decade long contracts! submitted by /u/Living-Management-71 [link] [comments]

I know twitter is just a ridiculous cesspool, but it sometimes brings interesting things to think about for me. I am a ONCE that is quite active on twitter, unfortunately I just don't like it these days because other Onces are extremely vocal and would trend some protest or doompost about anything. As you know, TWICE just announced their 4th full album, "This Is For", on May 19th, about 3 weeks ago. The album will be released on July 11, about 4 weeks from now. This is then followed by a World Tour announcement and an announcement for a Japanese album as well, around the first half of last week. They usually announce big things on Monday 00.00 KST, so naturally fans were expecting them to release a timetable 13 hours ago. They did not release anything, and fans were angry and trended protest tags. Before the World Tour announcement as well, there were also people accusing JYPE for ruining the hype by not releasing anything within 1 week of the first teaser. Fans were also protesting the fact that the World Tour will start around a week after the release of the album, saying that it means the promotion will be poor because of minimal music show appearances. As a Once I do notice that JYP is not the best nor the most aggressive in their promotional strategies, I feel like all of these protesting are too excessive. However, that makes me question, what is considered "Good" promotion? Does it always translate to good sales? At what stage should groups stop relying on traditional marketing strategies? Are fans these days just so terminally online and have very short attention span? How much promotion is too much, how little is too little? Sometimes I scoff when some Onces say "TWICE should have joined SM or YG, they promote their artists" better, but at the same time I am reading that SM has poor marketing strategies anywhere outside South Korea. YG is... Well we know how many releases Blackpink has, and how their fans are always unsatsified. I am quite new into K-Pop so if there are any experienced people who've seen marketing strategies from 2nd gen and so, please enlighten me! submitted by /u/GaurdsGuards [link] [comments]

well, at least within their company. YG will have 2BG and 2BG. Remember YG did made Bigbang and 2ne1 collab before. Although TBL aint under YG, i can see still see both working together. Collabs were rare even before but it did exist until no one wanted to do it 🤣. The close thing we have was one member of a group having collab with another member of another group, but group to group, i believe none. This is just a thought but if YG did so, itll have a chain effect. All the love, im just bored yall 🤦🥰🫰 submitted by /u/Gotchapawn [link] [comments]
