2.664. TXT has one of the most creative group concepts in kpop right now

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Truly, being into TXT is such an experience. The lore, the creative direction, the passion, the dedication, the beauty, their unique color that they've maintained all these years. I fear this album may truly be a piece of art that'll be pivotal in their career. The costume design, the nostalgia, the call backs to all their lore, its all so heartfelt. If you're looking for a group with an extensive lore and beautiful art direction.. You like story books, fairytales, adventures, coming of age, stories of adolescence and the ills that come with it, youth and maturing then TXT is your group. Please check them out! submitted by /u/Nynasa [link] [comments]

2.666. Allday Project has their 1st RAK (Real-Time All Kill) with their debut song "FAMOUS"

I knew they would have some level of success but this has exceeded even my expectations. Allday Project becomes the first co-ed k-pop group and fastest 5th generation group to achieve a RAK. Excellent debut song and is only getting better when every listen. Looks like Korea loves them and have embraced them. Congratulations to Teddy. With this, Kpop Demon hunters and Meovv, he's having a great year. And Blackpink is only around the corner. A co-ed group was a risky decision but it has paid off. submitted by /u/Mani_srao [link] [comments]

2.667. Girl i made another post because Yves has a new album? Or is it a different person?

So I was just watching Yves content as always and I saw that she had a new album called space exploration. But the weird thing is that there is absolutely no singing in the songs. So I was wondering if it was made by another person and youtube accidentally tagged it as Yves' album. submitted by /u/Free_Guarantee_3335 [link] [comments]

2.668. Female Idols Who Can Pull Off Boy Group-Level Choreos with Ease & Precision

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

These are some of my favorite girl group members who really stand out when it comes to dancing—not just the ones in the "official" dance lines. These idols have the kind of skill, control, and energy that make even BG-level choreos look natural on them. Kiof's Julie - What an elite dancer. Julie can really dance. Her control and sharpness are next level, and she pairs that with flawless expressions. I don’t know why, but I feel like she’d absolutely kill it with strong hip hop choreo. ITZY’s Yeji - She’s so well-balanced. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her overdo or underdo a performance. Whether it’s energy, expressions, or execution, she’s always calibrated just right. There’s a level of consistency in her dancing that’s seriously impressive NewJeans’ Hyein - While Hanni gets praise for her fluidity, I’ve always found Hyein more compelling when it comes to clarity and precision. She’s smooth but definitive. If I want to actually understand what the original choreography is supposed to look like (e.g., in “Bubble Gum”), I look at Hyein. Her lines are clear, but never stiff aespa’s Karina - she dances like a full-on performer. Her rhythm, timing, and expressions are always on point. She knows how to hit the beats without going overboard and has a natural sense of musicality that’s so satisfying to watch. You can tell she understands the assignment every time. KATSEYE’s Daniella - she is just so enjoyable to watch. You can tell she’s trained, but also has a natural groove that makes her stand out. Her fancams are genuinely fun to watch—they make me want to get up and dance too. She has that “it” factor when it comes to stage presence and movement. TWICE’s Momo - I’m not even a huge TWICE fan, but I stumbled upon their “Bloodline” cover and Momo completely took me by surprise. She’s that dancer who could easily take on intense BG choreos and totally own them. Momo has always been known as a strong dancer, but seeing her in more performance-heavy pieces really highlights her range. LE SSERAFIM’s Kazuha - What I love about Kazuha is her precision. She’s very textbook perfect in her execution, but still brings a groovy, laid-back vibe to her dance. Especially in “Easy,” you can see hints of hip hop influence, and it suits her so well. She doesn’t just complete the steps—she finishes them with intention. submitted by /u/Which_Report6757 [link] [comments]

2.669. TXT isn't just a K-pop group they're storytellers, artists, and pure magic.đŸȘ„âœšđŸ’«

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) — every song they release is crafted with such care and intention. The lyrics are beautifully written, and each track tells a story that resonates deeply. Their music videos aren't just visuals they're emotional experiences. Whether it's happiness, joy, nostalgia, or sadness, you feel everything. And their lore? Absolutely perfect. Once you dive into TXT's universe, it’s impossible not to feel a strong, emotional connection. It's storytelling on another level magical, symbolic, and so deeply human. Their vocals, performances, and the way they blend fairy tales with the realities of growing up it's pure artistry. TXT's journey through youth and adulthood is like a living storybook, and we're lucky to witness it. Wow, TXT what an extraordinary group you are. To those who aren't stanning TXT: you're truly missing out on some of the most meaningful, beautiful music and art out there. submitted by /u/txtnmusic [link] [comments]

2.677. Unpopular opinion, but I did NOT like kpop demon hunters

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

The movie just came out yesterday, and I wanted to do a mini review on it. I’ll get the obvious out of the way, animation was great, no comments on that, I liked the visuals and the character designs too. Now I’ve read quite a few reviews on it quite alot of them seem to be positive, and I feel like I’m in the minority that believes that this movie was mid at best? Personally I felt that the pacing, character stories and actual plot were all lacking substance. Zoe and Mira: I’ll start of with the characters, I’ll be real, the movie did not do enough for me to care about them and their conflict. While watching I feel like I got tonal whiplash, because while the movie was obviously trying to dive into emotional arcs for each of the girls, it didn’t provide strong enough development for characters like Zoey and Mira who were mostly just comic relief up until the climax. We know that Zoey is hotheaded and Mira is a people pleaser because that’s what was told to us, it was rarely ever shown and when it was, it was played off as comic relief (up until the climax). I mean we never even got to find out why these girls are the way they are, and in the end their arcs were resolved to quickly, which made the ending feel overly convenient. Rumi: Rumi’s arc was done slightly better than the other two, albeit she was the main character so it is expected, however by the end of the movie I was left with more questions than answers. I felt that Rumi’s background of being half demon, isn’t fully explored. Rather than exploring themes of fear and shame in depth a lot of her struggles are just shown to you through some quick flashbacks. I think these themes could’ve been better explored, by touching more upon the relationship between Rumi and her aunt/adoptive mother? Given the ending her aunt obviously had a pretty big influence on the girls, yet this relationship is never really fleshed out, aside from that one flashback, (where she’s telling Rumi to not share her secret )and so many questions were left, with their final interaction at the end of the movie, like why she’s so afraid of Rumi’s demonic side? How that relates to loosing Rumi’s mother, or whether she herself doubts her judgement? Jinu: Similar complaint as the girls, emotional arc was way too rushed and not fleshed out to its full potential. Also while I won’t deny Rumi and Jinu having some sort of chemistry, their romantic build up, in my opinion was paced oddly, and I wasn’t a fan of the “insta-love” dynamics. Aside from that, it had some cute friendship scenes between the girls, I won’t get into the music, since I’m not the biggest k-pop fan so anything I say about it would be biased. I’d probably rate this movie a 4.5-5/10 submitted by /u/flower5214 [link] [comments]

2.678. Humour sur L'industrie de la k-pop !

  • 3 weeks ago schedule

Mais d’ici lĂ , rideau. submitted by /u/OnebabyHan9108 [link] [comments]

2.679. jin solo concert day 1!(appreciation post)

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

jin just successfully finished day 1 of his solo concert in goyang and as his fan of 6 years it’s a really emotional day for me. here’s my little rant/appreciation post for him as an artist. during this post-enlistment solo run, jin has gone so far beyond everyone’s expectations. he’s released two self-written mini albums, produced his own solo variety show, and today he kicked off his solo world tour. i fell in love with his voice as a baby army and he’s been my bias ever since. his vocals make me feel things no one else can. people love to write him off, but if there’s one thing seokjin has done in his solo era, it’s proving his critics wrong. his concert today was unlike anything i’ve ever seen. not a single dull moment. just him, a live band, and those powerhouse vocals. the stage never felt empty. there wasn’t no loud backtrack, we could only hear it for adlibs. it was so interactive, energetic and emotional. i was watching from my bed and still felt like i was part of something special. i can only imagine what it felt like in person. he really belongs on the stage :,) i love how he’s embraced this rockstar energy. he’s talked openly about coldplay is his favourite artist and i love that you can clearly see the influence of chris martin and the band in his albums and performances. i’m genuinely so proud of the artist he’s become. he’s more confident and grounded now, but still pushing himself to grow. in his first solo song, awake, he sang “maybe i can never fly”. today, while ending his song he sang “now i fly to where my heart beats” (to me, today). it feels like a full circle moment. seokjin’s journey truly has been one of growth, tenacity, and incredible artistry. and i’m just so proud to witness it. submitted by /u/JinnieP [link] [comments]

2.680. if you need someone new to stan, stan baekhyun

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

i’m biased bc i’ve been a baekhyun stan for years but i went to his solo concert in chicago on wednesday and i have to say, if he’s having a show near you, even if you don’t know him that well, you should go!! wow
probably one of the best shows i’ve been to. first of all, live vocals even during heavy dancing. he was sick too but still sounded amazing. for soundcheck, he loved the vibe so he kept singing more songs. he sang about 6. he kept asking us what we wanted to hear. he sang some acapella. same thing happened with the actual concert, he loved the vibes so he kept singing more and more songs. the thing that gets me the most is that he’s just as comfortable with international fans as he is with his domestic fans. i’ve been to kpop concerts in both korea and internationally. in korea, they have long ments, always say sweet things to fans, etc. obviously the language barrier has a lot to do with feeling as comfortable with international fans but baekhyun still had his long ments here. almost nothing was scripted. he joked around in the same way as usual. he was just silly as hell and also sweet, telling everyone how beautiful they looked. he didn’t even want to leave the stage at the end. i’m not saying other idols don’t do this btw but there’s something about baekhyun that makes me feel proud to call myself his fan they don’t call him a genius idol for nothing. he’s very cute but also very sexy. charismatic and charming. energetic. just a star. a once in a lifetime talent. i know newer kpop stans have a weird complex when it comes to older idols (baekhyun is 33, debuted at 20) but from music to personality, he’s second to none. like i said, get a ticket. he’s in the US rn he’s going to europe next. then australia and after that asia. submitted by /u/styledbypark [link] [comments]
