I need need need this crossover, imagine the aura this would hold! When I saw HUNTRIX, i immediately thought of KDA. They both show similar concepts and vibes. If this does happen in real life, it's gonna get big BIG. submitted by /u/Initial-Purchase-141 [link] [comments]

(repost because of me being deleted for no reason) she looks like a literal angel. She looks so happy and her mic was on, her stage presence has improved soooo much since debut submitted by /u/acorrnn [link] [comments]
Curious about different groups actual popularity levels. For me it was obviously BTS and Blackpink, plus Twice. But I know a lot of people get into discussions about other groups like seventeen or stray kids or newjeans being popular internationally and I just wanna see if that’s actually true from experience submitted by /u/Physical-Air-7588 [link] [comments]
She is so beautiful. Mic was ON and her stage presence has improved soooo much. I'm so proud of her. submitted by /u/acorrnn [link] [comments]
I honestly didn’t realize how much I missed seeing all four of them together until today. Watching DEADLINE finally start in Goyang after so long genuinely hit me harder than I expected. They opened with Kill This Love and the second that horn hit, I was like… yep, they’re back. The energy, the stage presence, the looks — it felt like BLACKPINK never left. And then when they performed later “JUMP” for the first time?? I didn’t even know I needed a new song from them, but I absolutely did. It felt fresh but still very them — confident, bold, fun to watch. I’m already obsessed with it and I need the studio version yesterday. All of them looked and sounded amazing: Jennie was radiating confidence. Every move was just so sharp and cool. Jisoo’s visuals were unreal, and she looked genuinely happy to be on stage. Rosé’s vocals were SO good live — her voice hits different in a concert setting. Lisa had the crowd eating out of her hand. Her energy is just insane. The whole thing felt really emotional, too. I don’t know if it was just me, but there were moments where you could tell they were taking it all in — being back together, seeing the fans again, starting a new chapter. I felt it. I’ve been a BLINK for years now, but this show reminded me exactly why I still care so much. It’s not just about the music — it’s them. The four of them, together. Anyone else watch it? What were your favorite moments? And how are we surviving until they drop “JUMP” officially 😭 submitted by /u/Critical_Year_4762 [link] [comments]

I have been thinking about this lately considering how much people dislike Aespa's "Dirty Work" which I actually like. I am also a big fan of Red Velvet's "Rookie" and TWICE's "SIGNAL" (which got me back into k-pop in high school after a long period of not really listening to it since I was a kid...now I'm 25) I do want to know how people feel! submitted by /u/ebtcardaterewhon [link] [comments]

" Recently, due to my ignorance, i hurt many people. i feel that deeply and made a promise to myself that i won’t speak lightly on things i don't fully understand and study hard. in the future, i'll study hard, and make sure not to harm many people. i'm really sorry for causing trouble to the members and everyone around me because of it. i won't let it happen again. i'm also sorry to everyone who were hurt or read those uncomfortable things. i'm sorry." Ok hear me out. I know that Groups/Bands like The Beatles, U2, Queen... are iconic and can never be beaten. However when it comes to succses in terms of sales, cultural influence, global reach and fan devotion BTS is not that far of. Ok maybe the album sales are not as high since the other Bands just exist for way longer but with the longevity that this group has it is defently possible. Most Groups/Bands don't make music this long together, the beatles only made music for 10 years, one direction only 5 years, Nirvana only for 4 years (even tho thats for a different reason). I think that the members of BTS geniualy want to stay together and want to achieve a long career. Sure they gonna release more solo projects aswell, but i do think that they will prioritize the group. BTS is the best selling artist in South Korean history, and among the top globally in the streaming era. They've topped Billboard charts multiple times, had a record breaking stadium tour, and sold out Wembley faster than any group since The Beatles. In the US they’ve achieved chart success that non Western acts rarely touch, including multiple No.1 albums and singles. I do think that the military service that the members had to do maybe slowed down they hybe of BTS, and i have seen alot of fans move on. However with them coming back i can see that they will pick up right were they left of and gonna continue to achieve greatness. Maybe everything that i just said is complety dumb and doesn't make sense, but i really do belive that BTS can become the biggest group of all time. submitted by /u/Injeolmie_04 [link] [comments]
Since their conception in 2016, KARD has naturally acquired a foreign fanbase and IMO, their label was both unmotivated and ill prepared on how to capitalize on that. I completely understand that DSP/RBW doesn't have the same level of resources or connections as the bigger labels but to see Doechii, Latto, Megan the Stallion, GloRilla, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Flo Milli and even Ice Spice collaborating with K-pop and K-pop adjacent acts while KARD hasn't had even a Korean feature since debut is nuts. Not only is half the group fluent in English (though all 4 have a general understanding) but both their image and sound match so well with what's currently going on in the West... I know the phrase is overused but it does feel like a waste. They should have graced Latin America, UK, and US day time/variety shows years ago and "Tell My Momma" should have been promoted overseas (probably as a digital single instead becoming their worst selling EP in SK). Now, I don't believe that KARD should be marketed to the general K-public just because ADP is here. The momentum is gone and I just don't see a wide market for the group KARD has cemented themselves as in SK - but they should be monetizing and mobilizing them amongst the fans they are there. After 9 years together, they have never had a full length album, merchandise is limited, they only release 4-5 songs a year max, and they don't have a light stick despite touring every year since debut (minus 2020 - 2021 due to Covid). You'd think a global group like this would have more even amongst the rest of East Asia, becoming Festival staples but nope. They are also severely lacking branding and sponsorship but that's another conversation. At the very least, you'd think they'd be pushed on the Foreign friendly programing in Korea during their slower months. Right now, KARD is planning both their 2nd Korean and 3rd World Tour and it feels like there should be more noise ahead of all that. Whether it's a tour exclusive collab project (like Bad Bunny x reggaeton for South America, a Tyla x afrobeats for Europe) or Tiktoking like their lives depend on it (Katseye? F5VE?), I just wish they were promoted better. KARD been around for a long time and have been able to sustain themselves just on music too, it's never too late to pour more into 1 of the literal 2 groups in the company. submitted by /u/AvatarKorrang [link] [comments]
Who is the least normal member of the group(s) you stan? Asked cutely Recently started getting into Ateez, and my bias is clearly yunho, who i assumed as the most normal member. Guess I was wrong. Everyone just keeps saying that he is the least normal member. Makes me curious about other groups though submitted by /u/buttertaekoo [link] [comments]
i wasn't tuned it at allll to their survival show, and the 1st and only time i heard of them was when everyone was clowning on the name (i think the name is fine lol💀). but YT recommended their debut song 'Rendezvous' and i watched it, and WOW.....just wow. i cant even remember when a ***conventional BG debuted with something that actually made me have any sort of reaction beyond just "oh this song is okay" and "not my vibe but this song isnt bad". I ended up listening to the song on repeat and just getting all in my feelings bc it's such an emotional song lol. ***conventional as in not something completely different and rare, bc the other recent debut that impressed me was XLOV but they're farrr from conventional (love them sm) tbh ive been quite disappointed by recent BG debuts bc nothing has really stood out to me. these groups have the talent and the vibe and the looks for the most part, but personally none of them have evoked any real emotions from me - from excitement to sadness. so i had lowkey given up hope until a company actually decides to do something different or interesting with a freshly debuting BG. but woww AHOF exceeded every single expectation i had and Rendezvous might just be my new fav song atm. i didnt feel anything in particular from the other songs on their debut ep but that's okay bc i feel like they'll have a bright future. anyway, ik this was a bunch of yapping but i just wanted to share it bc i was personally starting to accept that no current debuts would suit my taste (which is totally okay bc music isnt made for jUst me lol💀 but it was still disappointing) submitted by /u/Important-Zombie9331 [link] [comments]
