The lipsyncing was not it, the girls didn't even try to hide it. I think they always lip sync with solo stages for some reason. I know Ryujin is always the first to perform solo, so maybe that's why, but regardless, the performance was just... Gorgeous!!! And her stage presence is amazing. I keep seeing people say that sneakers was itzys worst era, that it’s not a good song etc etc. But imo it’s a really good song and I really don’t understand why people hate on it?? The first time I heard of their music in 2010, thanks to the movie "Piranha 3D". Later, their most popular song was "Like a G6" featured with DEV which peaked at #1 on the Billboard, making them the first Asian American group to reach number one on the chart. In these years, they collaborated with Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Bruno Mars, DEV, Wiz Khalifa, Marshmello and the other popular artists of that time. However the group wasn't representing K-pop, instead they wanted to go with the flow of EDM/ club era which was at its peak in early 2010s. HYBE debuted a group called cortis and I've seen them everywhere against my will but the members kinda scare me. I'm not calling them ugly but this guy with orange hair he scares me. their is this member who I saw on twitter rapping and he was staring into my soul like travid scott. The one that i think the most are katseye, The way people shitting on gnarly on the first day of it's released but katseye manage to gagged them and sell the song with their amazing performances, stage presence and facial expression. I normally just listen to IVE Aespa and Le Sserafim. And listening to like NMIXX or Babymonster is a struggle. The music of those other groups I mentioned first is wayyyy better. There is a serious reason groups like IVE and aespa won SOTY over the boy groups. It's on another level. I'm not saying anything about their personality or performing or live signing.
