Now with the release of the Jump MV (I'm not going to say what's already been said, I'm just saying that it seems they rushed it), it's confirmed once again that Blinks are so traumatized by hiatuses that they settle for the bare minimum. "This is better than two years without music," and that's the problem. You're giving YG the power to put in minimal effort and reap the benefits because the fandom is subservient, traumatized by another hiatus. As if complaining will anger YG and send them back to the basement. Blinks, you can complain (constructively). You deserve better quality, better promotion. Not the company playing with your feelings to make a quick buck. submitted by /u/_issio [link] [comments]
As someone who uses ai alot from the mv teaser and the first two lines I could tell that ai played a huge part in the single like honestly wth is this not even the members look real also not to mention the heavy autotune on rose's voice, the mv was trash in my opinion, and the lines were giving you asking chat gpt to write you a poem about resilience like atleast use a humanizer YG I genuinely feel bad for blinks cuz first you get ghosted, then you get scammed, and then you receive the worst song and mv of the year and then they expect you to support their tour! So, I'm one of those people who enjoys JUMP for what it is. I just watched the MV & wow, just wow. This feels like such a slap in the face to not just blinks, but K-Pop fans in general. YG hasn't learned a damn thing. I guess the promise of "treating them better" was a complete lie. Shocking, I know. I can see why people are bringing up the excessive AI usage, but the CGI in multiple scenes is also shockingly bad. You'd think that it'd look way more clean with the budget YG has, but no. They're clearly using it to fund other things. Look at 'FAMOUS' by ALLDAY PROJECT. The CGI & effects in that were great. There was clearly effort put into making that MV. Why didn't BLACKPINK have that kind of budget? I wouldn't be so mad if a different video that fit the song's vibes more was crafted for this song, but again, this is what we've been waiting for? This? Come on now. This is just sad. I haven't checked the charts yet, but I've seen chatter about it already flopping & yikes. If that's not a sign that BLACKPINK should just terminate their contracts with YG altogether, I'm not sure what is. That company's not & has never done them any justice & thing will only get worse if they don't leave soon. submitted by /u/GenoveveSimmons15 [link] [comments]

Brief summary of the relevant part in the TMZ article. Justin Bieber owed the organizer of his world tour AEG $26 million because of his early cancellation. Scooter got HYBE to loan $26 million to Justin in order to pay off his debt to AEG. Justin had to pay HYBE every year for ten years. Justin only made the first payment then stopped paying the rest lol The article talks about how they both finally settled the rest of their financial disputes. It was strange why Scooter resigned from HYBE when it seemed like it was the easiest job in the world. Now it makes more sense. submitted by /u/Anfini [link] [comments]

this is an uncensored sub for a reason, but somehow topics i think are interesting for arguments are always being reported and removed. i want the draft that you know will make others downvote like crazy and removed if posted. opinions that are truly unpopular. and without further elaboration. just leave it at that. mine is ‘kpop fans on reddit are as toxic as those on twitter, they just dont use slangs much’ submitted by /u/ataraxia2406 [link] [comments]

They do look like they lack energy but idk I think it's their choreo. Their choreo really doesn't have much to offer. Other than that they are def doing fine I don't see a diff from their 2016 to 2019 concerts as they always had less energetic choreo. It's just during that time we used to get close up shorts of them performing so the choreo never got ppls attention. Now we don't have that, we get to see their choreo from fans recording them from far away seats and since the choreo isn't that energetic, ppl Watching from phone screens feel off abt their dance. Also I remember during born pink concert ppl circulated a clip and called them unsynchronised And guess what?that one clip of 5 sec from 1 concert got backlash and it was shown as if it was from their every concert. Not saying there were no problems but things were blown out of proportion for sure. there was another clip of members doing wtv they want while dancing. It was the end part of forever young , the song was ending thus members weren't doing any similar dance cause song was over and they were just vibing their own way. But demn ppl made edits of them calling them lazy and lacking teamwork?hate was sm ,I never watched concert clips but bornpink clips reached my feed lmfao Ig this gonna happen again anyways other than that i dont personally like concerts but I feel like bp needs to do smthg with their stage. It lacks designs. No props no nthg , like add them bishes what yall waiting for. Gidle had sch good stage when I saw a short clip of their nxde concert. It was amazing. Other than that I dont see much problem but this can be cause I am not a big concert person. submitted by /u/Klutzy-Advisor2003 [link] [comments]

This is something I first noticed with PSY's 2012 song Gangnam Style. And then soon after with Fantastic Baby. And then Ringa Linga and Bang Bang Bang. The chorus is just a word or two. And the rest is instrumental. Now it feels like every K Pop song of the last 10 years is the same formula. Black Pink are especially bad for it. And Aespa often do it too. Personally I've always disliked it. It feels lazy and like we are robbed of any hook to the song. Why is this such a common trend? Why does nobody make choruses anymore? submitted by /u/LongLostFan [link] [comments]
