I don’t think she realizes how much of a dream come true this is for many of the fandom. Many flovers have wanted a continuation of the RNB/House sound they did for Midnight Guest. Unlock My World also continued it but it went in a more “garage direction”, in my opinion. fromis doing a song like “Psycho” for a title track, would be so amazing. Jiwon and Hayoung got enough vocal power to hold the fort down. A creative direction like f(x)’s would also be dope. This has been something I’ve wanted ever since 2022, so it’s funny Chaeyoung is wanting to do it too. I hope the label listens to her. submitted by /u/yebinkek [link] [comments]

Heyy! I'm working on a small fan-run side project and would love your help. I made a short survey (takes just 2–3 mins) about things like K-pop merch, photocards, and care packages — would really appreciate if you could fill it out or pass it on to fellow fans 💖 No personal info needed — just honest opinions from fellow stans! https://forms.gle/dxgmPwMgLokvk5rz8 Thank you sm!! 💌 submitted by /u/heavenlyidiot813 [link] [comments]

I follow Touring Asia Pop on X and one of the comment their admin made was standing-only section is rare in kpop (because they literally count each seat one by one to release the numbers). I find this curious. Is it true? Why is it not common in kpop concerts? I thought standing-only section is common and never thought of it (I always get seated place coz I want to sit instead of stand for 3-4 hours). Will standing-only section become more common in kpop concerts soon since everyone is touring nowadays? submitted by /u/Many-Ad-9007 [link] [comments]

I saw a post that goes like "I feel weird being a fan that doesn't fanart, or fanfiction, like I'm just here" It applied to all fandoms with the way it got a lot of attention. When I saw it, it just clicked to me that the most miserable fans are the ones that don't contribute or even engage in any fan content. Like, I literally did field research right now (field research?!) Purposefully looking for recent fanwars and viewing the accounts with the dumbest arguments and all of them had no contributions, not even retweets of anything creative related. No wonder they act jobless, because they really don't have one 😭 Meanwhile fanartists, editors, AU writers, photographers, etc. are the best kinds of fans. Not to mention, engaging and contributing in art automatically gives you media literacy and emotional maturity so they'd less likely fall or make engagement and rage baits or creating fanwars using overanalyzing things. Meanwhile, creative fans love the people they stan so much, they willingly use their time and energy to give back to them AND their community through their own art. Its real genuine love, unlike toxic "fans" that are so obsessed with popularity, streams, charts, things that are superficial. Kpop is art. But its insane that so many fans dont actually engage with art.I feel like a lot of fans arent even aware that Kpop is art all. I think theres a really deep reasoning behind this that I just dont know how to explain. Something about perceiving idols as just simple products to consume and to give you entertainment, not as artists, as people with feelings. No wonder so many are so fucking weird to idols, whether its babying their faves too much or being so cruel to other idols, and so much more. Anyways if youre really a fan, you'd have the urge to DO something for your faves. Draw, write, dance or sing cover, remix, edit, literally anything like creating threads about them on Twitter. Even if you dont have the "talent" you should still have like this feeling in your heart that you WANT to do something sincere for your faves or your community. If you dont, as in REALLY dont. I'm sorry but like, youre most likely the fandom jobless ick. A shallow consumer fan who mistakes their parasocialism for 'love". Someone who's engaged in fanwars too much they cant stand hearing another group's song lmao Well thats it for my observation. This also serves a reminder to thank fandom creatives and appreciate art. Not just in your fandom but in general. Of course not all "creatives" are good people. Theres fans out there that went to Mnet school of evil editing or Tumblr school of shipwars. Genuinely scary how a lot of fans are dumb enough to fall for these, makes me wonder what kind of people they are in society. I get the feeling they'd be the ones voting for politicians just because someone on the Internet tells them to lmao Anyways keep in engaging in art! Curate your timeline or your feed. Block, report, mute, and always observe the accounts youre following. If they keep engaging and putting draman in your timeline, tempting you to join in and argue. Block that shit! Went to my first ever K-pop concert in SK recently, and while the show itself was amazing, the hours leading up to it totally drained me. I got there early (like a lot of people seemed to), but the wait until the actual concert felt so long, especially with the heat. I was already tired and kind of out of it by the time the show even started, which sucked because I was so excited. Tried to hang out in a nearby café to cool off, but everywhere was packed. Honestly, I started wishing I’d planned something better to fill that dead time, especially since my trip to Korea is short and I want to make the most of it. Has anyone else felt this way? Honestly, next time I’m thinking of renting a small bus or something and just heading out somewhere with a few other fans during the wait 😂 Like, a mini group trip before the concert. Has anyone done something like that? 😅 Would love to hear any tips on how you’ve handled that waiting period! submitted by /u/NoPlant305 [link] [comments]
Hi everyone! This post is a weekly thread for any thoughts you might have that feel don't need a post of its own but still would like to air to the world. All rules apply, but you can discuss anything you want related to Kpop. Please be respectful and have fun! submitted by /u/KpopThoughtsmodteam [link] [comments]
