the idea that Garam would've "saved" Le Sserafim from the hate train is... hilarious to say the least

Bit of a dead topic right now, but I actually liked Pit Stop, the lyrics were a bit lackluster without a catchy hook which NewJeans do really well with other songs, but production wise I really liked it (although there's no studio versions, people have used ai/pieced snippets back together to produce versions that are at that quality). I think most people are disliking it due to the massive concept change calling them a 'downgraded version of aespa' and that one clip at the end. I also wonder if people think the song would ever be released. submitted by /u/Impossible_Cable_862 [link] [comments]

βββββββββββββββββ Hey everyone, today Hybe debuts their third-ever boy group, one that a friend on Discord has been hyping up. The last time Hybe debuted a new group not from a sub-label was in 2019, when TXT entered the scene. I remember enjoying the TXT debut as I had it on repeat like crazy that year. Today Iβm curious to see what Cortis has in store for us with their first-ever project. I donβt want to wait any time, so letβs jump into the Cortis world and see what this debut delivers. βββββββββββββββββ https://preview.redd.it/bswsre22dznf1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d94ecc51d3d574600aca2b1ea1db2e563999d7f COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES - Cortis 1. Go! Go! is the opening song on the project, a pop-trap tune that is centered around a vibey beat that blends wonderfully with the members. There are vocal effects on the membersβ voices that help them blend into the instrumental. The hook is pretty catchy as itβs one repetitive section, but it still works for this type of trap tune. The rapping is pretty decent, flowing wonderfully with the vibe that the producers crafted. I find that this tune does a great job opening up the album with its vibe and performance that the group brings to the table. https://preview.redd.it/txysvom9dznf1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d20d05cb5ece9107d24d89074dfd0e7dc11ded09 βββββββββ βββββββ 2. What You Want/What You Want (feat. Teezo Touchdown) The second song on the album was the pre-release track, giving us two versions. An original version and a Teezo Touchdown version. A guitar opens up the track, bringing in the bouncy vibe that fits this group so well. The smooth vocal fits with the vibe of the instrumental that has been pulling me back since it was pre-released. The hook has grown on me as itβs starting to get stuck in my head. In the collaboration version, Teezo comes in for the second verse, fitting perfectly as that version has been on repeat a little more than the original. I find both versions of the track to be enjoyable as Iβve been coming back to them when I remember to do so. Iβm glad this was the pre-release single, cause itβs one that got me hyped for the rest of the debut. https://preview.redd.it/isobnaohdznf1.jpg?width=860&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b945dd57cd569d1f1a7168400044910922bf960d βββββββββ βββββββ FaSHioN Fashion is the best song on the album, reminding me of something Sik-k and Vangdale would put out, which Iβm a fan of both artists. The vocals are processed to the max, but they fit the vibe that the producers craft. I love the rapping as it fits with the boucy trap beat that keeps pulling me back since I first heard it. The more I hear this tune, the more I can see a version of this with Sik-k on it, which would slap. Cortis does a killer job with their performance, making this another excellent tune on the album that I will be having on repeat for a long time. https://preview.redd.it/vzn61dkydznf1.jpg?width=204&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ccd1f9f64a9dee035cf89c57840987d0dd590b9e βββββββββ βββββββ JoyRide JoyRide is where the album starts to fall a little flat for my liking, as I find this tune to be forgettable. The instrumental is way too chill, feeling a little dull as nothing much happens in the beat to make this tune stick with me. The vocals are decent not do much to help elevate this tune at all. The hook is pretty forgettable, as I donβt remember it even though Iβve heard this tune a few times. I was hoping another excellent tune would cause the first three songs to be bops, but JoyRide fell to meet that for me. https://preview.redd.it/m2to7mw4eznf1.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8cfd1ed3a2f790414bddbffe306177bb3e5fa50f βββββββββ βββββββ Lullaby The closer is another track that fell flat, as itβs another tune that is forgettable. I donβt mind the chill nature this tune brings to the table, but the instrumental makes it hard for me to get through this track. The song goes at a slow pace, making it feel like this tune goes on forever. The vocals are decent, but donβt do much to elevate the tune like they should. The guitar melody is pleasant, but itβs not enough to make me like this tune. I find that this album doesnβt do a good job closing as it did with the opening. https://preview.redd.it/53ppo5mbeznf1.jpg?width=732&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54967355028b17afad17e3e7dd6cc73bb6fdacf3 βββββββββββββββββ Summary: Cortis debut with a mini album that only gave me three songs to like. Go! opens up the album with a bouncy. pop-trap beat that does a great job opening up the project. Lullaby is the closer, and itβs so uninteresting that it doesnβt close out the album in a strong way like the way Go! opens up the record. The pre-release single What You Want got me excited for this project, and the Teezo version was a great version to add to the album. This debut isnβt bad at all, but one that I can see on that would knock this out of the park, but at least there are three songs for me to like from this album. βββββββββββββββββ https://preview.redd.it/6lc322wheznf1.jpg?width=225&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e20ed9b8093cb548f3257578db48bf385db6dba5 submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]
One moment yβall say Lisa is a Kpop idol and will always be seen as a Kpop idol, and will never be taken seriously as a pop artist. Then, she wins best Kpop, now all of the sudden she shouldnβt be in that category because her song is in English and has no Koreans in it? Now itβs, βshe canβt win because she ainβt Koreanβ? If we are being technical, only Stray Kids, Jisoo, and/or Aespa should win that award because they actually had korean in their songs. submitted by /u/Spare_Property315 [link] [comments]
Wondering if anyone else is having the same thoughts, was relistening to their latest EP and they went 6 for 7. Songs such as tell me are incredibly catchy, and lips hips kiss is a banger too. Not much other groups are doing the rnb/girlcrush sort of concept and very few in 5th gen are doing it this well. I'm curious if people are still listening to them are have tuned out due to their controversies. submitted by /u/Impossible_Cable_862 [link] [comments]
Idols with a lot of talent, that would win even without their popularity! I would say Wonyoung from IVE, she's been already in a survival show and ended up in first place submitted by /u/Different_Grab_148 [link] [comments]
Unicode released the song "Let me love" which has over 700k views and now they released a Japanese song called "Aing" which only has less than 10k views, so let's help them and save them from disbandment!!! https://youtu.be/aZt6AJfdRJY?si=UCpYEPofm20icVYu submitted by /u/Ambitious_Sink2194 [link] [comments]

As a person who was there from the beginning, I very clearly remember a lot of people, and I mean A LOT of people, making fun of her vocal abilities during their debut promotions. Specifically that one clip where she's singing live during those interviews they do at music shows. Like I very clearly remember people calling her not talented enough. Her situation was unfortunate and because of how she left the group, I feel like people kind of forgot the shit they were saying about her. Not to mention how when news first broke out, it was a mass calling of her to be dumped from the group. It was a mass calling of her to not promote with them. So when I see people (specifically on twitter) say how much they miss her and how much she would've added to the group, I always scratch my head in confusion cause... that wasn't consensus before she left. Like at all. submitted by /u/cocochanelism [link] [comments]
Just to clarify I having nothing against the group but the music is just not my cup of tea. Despite this I keep seeing them or their music on my for you page. Is everyone experiencing this or is my for you page weirdly persistent despite me not interacting with Cortis content at all? submitted by /u/ARG_obesessed [link] [comments]
Since tbl revived coed groups with adp and they saw great success, especially on kcharts,do you think more companies will ride on this wave in the future? Do you see coed groups staying niche and sparse or do you think more companies will take up the challenge in the following years? submitted by /u/Alive-Pitch-9180 [link] [comments]
So there's this japanese group that promoted in kpop called "UNICODE" and they're the one who sing "Let me love" produced by Jinyoung and it's a good song and a fresh take on kpop and some kpop content creators also said that if japanese groups are the future of kpop. Fast forward to now, they have 5 members back then but now 2 member have left and the remaining 3 members have a japnese comeback called "Aing" and the official mv is like 10k views and at this point it's a 100% disbandment, so I need help from you guys to watch the mv and promote them by word, I really love them and their song "blur" have become my biggest hits this past year so I just want them to survive to have another comeback again. ("I literally posted this in other groups but I just want it to reach more people)" When the talk is about Star quality, 30% of the comments will be about h2h and this is my personal opinion and breakdown on H2H as a Naya/Izna fan. H2H is always dragged down when it comes to discussions about star quality so this is my opinions on h2h members... (I watched some of their contents before this!) Ana - No hate but even though many says she's insanely beautiful I found her to be normal and kinda bland (no hate), she's quite entertaining but not something that would pick off your interest. Juun - I think she's the strongest dancer of them all or maybe even the most talented but being an idol is not only about talent, you also need to build an interesting image and for me she looks cool and gives off ace vibes but overall quite boring to watch (no hate). Yuha - She looks innocent and gives off dreamy vibes and talent wise I love her vocal tone, she is quite entertaining to watch but gets easily overshadowed by most members. Stella - She is a good performer and is very charismatic, her smiles are very cute and she's very aesthetic, almost gives of Illit Moka vibes and talent wise she's good in dancing and singing and also has good stage presence, she's very enjoyable to watch. Jiwoo - Her visuals are insane almost like AI, I find myself always looking at her when they perform, she doesn't have that insanely high stage presence but her beauty and execution of dance moves is enough to catch your interest, she's very smooth on dancing and very satisfying to watch. Ian - Personally I think she has strongest stage presence of them all and when she's in the center of a formation, it almost looks like she's a soloist, also very good facial expressions almost like second Tsuki from billlie, she also as a very interesting personality and overall a very interesting person, she's the one I personally enjoyed the most watching and will probably be my bias wrecker if I stan H2H. Yeon - No hate but it's almost that she doesn't exist in the group, she has the lowest fans and also not that interesting to watch, she's the maknae and she's literally so young so there's no point in hating her (don't hate her), but I think she needs to start improving (I'm not saying she's not talented), it's just that h2h has many members and it is very easy to be overshadowed by other members and for me I think she gets overshadowed by all. Carmen - Insanely strong fandom and is the most popular member in Indonesia (of course she's indonesian) same as Gehlee Dangca that has a very strong Filipino fandom. Carmen brings uniqueness in the group and she's also entertaining (very goofy), can't say anything else she looks very cute though, and she looks like Yoona. What are your thoughts on Hearts2hearts? submitted by /u/Ambitious_Sink2194 [link] [comments]
For me Kyujin (nmixx), she's so expressive and entertaining to watch but it always feels fitting for the song and not overdone submitted by /u/Vast_Implement_8537 [link] [comments]
