Maybe I'm just salty but seeing adp climb up kcharts like they just released the best debut single we've heard in years is truly something. So many great kpop songs released this year didn't even see the top 10 of melon hot 100 but all it took was choppy lyrics, cultural appropriation, and ai to do so and I can't help but laugh. I genuinely feel like I'm being gaslighted is everyone fake gagging or am I just being a hater? submitted by /u/SympathyRough5235 [link] [comments]

The golden era is SUCH a disappointment. I’ve been stanning ateez since 2021 "kingdom era". And I’ve never been disappointed, fever era was incredible, the world era was A-MA-ZING, but golden is just…meh. The only song I liked was selfish waltz, which is one my favs now, but please ??? The work album was just so different from what they usually do, IOMT had good b-sides but the title track wasn’t good. Lemon drop is SO boring. I’ve been so disappointed but I still love them so much, I just hope they go back to their usual style. I don’t know if it’s only me though because I saw lots of people loving Work, IOMT, and lemon drop. But if we compare these title tracks to, Guerilla, bouncy, Crazy Form, Deja vu, Inception, Thankxx, The real, Fireworks, Answer, Wonderland, etc… The new ones are just so weak and it’s losing their "Ateez style" ☹️ Usually ateez always give everything for the last 30 seconds of a song, but there’s not even that anymore ??? I just don’t recognize their music anymore. Am I the only one ??? submitted by /u/Lazy_Permission_5878 [link] [comments]

I think most people already know that most (not all) rappers are just assigned the position and not many really chose to do it. But obviously there are those that do genuinely enjoy it but are just kind of stuck with a few rap lines in a group song. I think solos are great way for idols in groups to express their creativity or do something outside of the group's usual sound. So are the any rappers you stan that have actually done rap song or even just included a verse in their solos? Doesn't necessarily have to be self written. Here are some from my ult groups (I'm mainly a girl group stan so yeah) Idle- Soyeon's solos were raps. My fav being "Is this bad bitch number" collab with Younji and Bibi Twice- None of the rappers have had solo debuts but Momo(sub rapper) has rapped in the MiSaMo subunit Aespa- 2hot4u wasn't an official release (just performed at concerts) but it was a rap. Dopamine was more vocal focused but it did include a rap verse. Mamamoo- Moonbyul has done a lot of rapping for her solos. "Eclipse" and "Shutdown" being my favorite, also her latest single "Icy Bby" (you should check it out it's a fun upbeat perfect for summer song) Not a rapper but Solar did have a talk rap verse in her song "Honey" Dreamcatcher- no official solos but most of her special clips have been a mix of vocal and rap parts. As for boy groups Bts- the whole rap line Stray kids- same here + Chan does rap in skz players submitted by /u/ElectronicPianist857 [link] [comments]
What is your kpop opinion that you will hold on to regardless of everything. Popular or unpopular. Controversial or undisputed. Old or new. Group or solo.unhinged. What will it be? submitted by /u/InstructionPitiful88 [link] [comments]

I was scrolling though twitter and saw that kpop charts account with many posts last few hours about allday project.Does anyone knows was their debut like really anticipated or something because numbers for both song are really good and they are climbing charts really fast.I dont remember last time when debute was going this good ,but the songs had such i mixed reactions and its not typical vibe of songs that do really well on chart. So if someone know more about this group and their popularity do tell. Edit :just to add because i now so it its like by this pace going to be number one on all charts submitted by /u/FanOld6862 [link] [comments]

Idk, I just have a feeling that they are siblings. Not the members, just the groups with concepts and vibes and stuff. They are also both the second most popular group in their gender. And this reason is personal, but I also started scanning them at the same time. Anyone else feel the same way? submitted by /u/DaGayEnby [link] [comments]
Which kpop group, whether disbanded or in hiatus, do u want to see perform one more time on stage? Not necessarily a concert, but even in shows, festival, events or even as a guest appearance in a variety show. submitted by /u/InstructionPitiful88 [link] [comments]
My name is Virginia and I live near Madrid (Spain). I’ve liked K-pop since I was around 14, when I discovered 2NE1, Bigbang, Girls Generation… and to this day, some of my favorite groups are Enhypen, BTS, Ive, and many more (I love listening to both new and old groups 🧡). The thing is, in my social circle, there have been a few people who liked K-pop for a while, but then they lost interest. I’ve never really had a group of friends to talk about comebacks with, discover new songs, or just chat about K-pop in general 🥲. I always get excited when someone starts getting into it, but it never really sticks. I have a niece who’s crazy about K-pop, but she’s 13, and of course it’s not the same as talking with people my own age. I would love to meet people and have a Telegram or WhatsApp group where we can talk and get excited about K-pop 🥲. I feel like it’s hard to make friends with similar interests when you’re almost 30. Does this happen to you too? submitted by /u/vlavellan [link] [comments]
