Hi everyone I wanted to know some opinions on the hybe boycott wether you are pro or anti-boycott. I’ve been boycotting hybe for almost 2 years i believe but I want to stop and listen to some of my favs new music/content, including catching up. I wanted to know some opinions cause i’ve seen people who were pro-boycott start listening to hybe again. I just want some opinions especially if you were boycotting and now are consuming hybe media. submitted by /u/Heavy_Help687 [link] [comments]
This is my first time producing an instrumental. The major inspiration for this was based on NMIXX's Papillon, their experimental style and also the Modhaus production characteristic of combining unique instruments together. Please be patient and listen till the second half, it will be worth your while ; ). I am also currently in the process of making an animated Fan MV for Papillon as well. The cover image above is from the FMV. NMIXX is one of my favorite groups and their albums this year have left me with a deep longing for the love of music and art. Please anticipate for the same! Thank you guys!!! submitted by /u/Ok_Technology_2094 [link] [comments]

( deleted my last post a few hours ago cause of errors) I have binged watched xlov content for like two days now, songs have been on repeat. It has been a while since a group has caught my attention this much. All the members are super super talented and have unique qualities that make them stand out singularly and they fit well together as a group. Wumuti really thought everything out while planning and executing the group. However, I mean there is a good amount of pre debut content for wumuti, rui and haru as they were all on boys planet but HYUN?!?!? There are like 3 144p videos where you can barely see him. This gorgeous and talented being suddenly materialized in the kpop world and I cannot have enough of it. In every dance cover, vocal cover, their stages hyun really really shines. He is literally so captivating. He's got them vocals, the dance, the proportions, the stage presence and charisma and an amazing sense of humor mind you. And To think he almost gave up on being an idol. I can understand he doesnt fit into the traditional idol box but how did companies skip over him? Im so so greatful that muti actually called him to be part of the group. This post got a little long but props to xlov for being so expressive about themselves through their art, cannot wait for the comeback!! submitted by /u/seokjinseyebrows [link] [comments]

Aside from BTS and blackpink solo works none of releases this year manage to enter Spotify daily global charts or Apple music daily global and stay there for a long time. Even for big groups like straykids ,TXT ,enhypen, aespa and lesserafim only manage to stay there in less than two weeks. I thought the success of KDH Will lead more people to check out KPop but i guess that wasn't the case here, even Twice comeback this year didn't do well despite their songs been used as one of the soundtracks for the movie. What do you think happen with KPop this year? submitted by /u/Chemical_Mobile_6613 [link] [comments]

I’m not saying I don’t understand why she’s catching heat, but I’m more confused about the timing and why it’s going viral now when she posted that picture a few years back. The context is that Ningning shared on bubble of what she called a "pretty night lamp" named “That Day in Hiroshima,” which has a design reminiscent of a nuclear explosion. It went super viral in Japan and that single post racked over 30 million views on X really quickly. I’ve seen a lot of Japanese MYs announcing they’re leaving the fandom after seeing it, which I understand since it’s a sensitive topic for them. But what confuses me is why it’s suddenly blowing up now, when the reaction was much smaller back then. Is it just because they’ve become a lot more popular in Japan since then? I don't want the discussion to go off the rails or turn political. If someone could help clarify why the reaction's so different this time, I'd appreciate it. This Korean YT short gives a quick visual explanation of the situation if anyone's interested. submitted by /u/Carelessies [link] [comments]
This half just a fun post about their interactions, but also it just seems like it could be so good and being in the same company, should be relatively easy to organize compared to any other collab right? For one the groups seem really close and have good chemistry: JYP Game Caterers and seeing the various NMIXX + Xdinary interactions, on MCountdown today when Xdinary were so excitedly congratulating NMIXX, on Workdol when Haewon went to see them on one episode, on Lily's Issue Club episode with them. Both groups are very funny and have a similar kinda goofy vibe too. Secondly, NMIXX as a group have already worked with bands, actually many times in lots of different kinds of settings, to the point that I'm so surprised they haven't already joined up at some point to perform together with a band that's literally in the same building. NMIXX + bands is already so good! And I'm not trying to say they should stop working with Jason Lee and his band because they're amazing, I'm just thinking like a one time thing. Like imagine NMIXX + Xdinary vocalists singing together, with the band playing on a song like...it needs to happen. They could make an original song together, or they could even do something like a special version of each of their songs featuring the other group. Surely someone at JYPe has already thought about this right?? submitted by /u/Vast_Implement_8537 [link] [comments]
Okay, so I just binged the new Game Caterers X JYP Scout episodes and it's pure fire. The whole JYPnation going full goblin mode for Na PD's games is seriously iconic. It's giving us everything. But legit, it’s also giving me major main character syndrome for the group that's missing: GOT7. Like, imagine the content. The lore. The clips would be endless. It’s just bittersweet. I'm so happy for the groups getting their shine, but the nostalgia is hitting hard. No cap, this show is peak, but it would be absolute perfection if our chaotic kings could pull up. 🥲 submitted by /u/Critical_Year_4762 [link] [comments]
Idk if it is the right place to post about katseye...since they are not a kpop group...but a global group backed by a korean company...but they are quite famous within the kpop community, hence I am posting about them in this sub. 2025 was relatively a boring year for pop especially if we compare it to 2024...last year Charli Xcx,Chappell Roan,Sabrina Carpenter dominated the pop scene with their albums and their songs.Good luck babe, plz plz plz, Espresso were everywhere ... Charli's Brat summer was a phenemenon...but 2025 was quite dull, with famous artists receiving mixed reviews for their album, but within the dull pop landscape we have artist like Katseye, Conan grey, Sombr, Olivia dean, Addison Rae who made some noises...ik their success can't be compared to the breakthrough Sabrina,Charli or Chappell had last year...but they managed to stir up some discussing within the pop landscape.. I made a post the other day asking about new jeans popularity especially in the western market, and I came across a comment where someone wrote...that if there is a group that benefited from New jeans fumble its Katseye... Idk but I have often seen this type of comment in yt , twitter and other places that Katseye benefited a lot from the New Jeabs issue...is it true? Because I thought Katseye's success was maiy tied to a lack of a solid banger from any famous artist this year nor any newer artist shook the pop landscape in 2025, therefore Katseye managed to grab people's attention with their gimmicky song Gnarly, strong Gabriela choreo at lolla and the viral GAP ad.... Do you think katseye would be successful regardless of new jeans situation or the issue really benefited them in a positive way? submitted by /u/Due_Collection_3363 [link] [comments]
