Sometimes I find it a little unusual when K-pop idols, who are basically musicians, end up collaborating with influencers or YouTubers whose content has nothing to do with music. It’s not necessarily bad, but often the vibe feels random and kind of forced. Like, the videos usually revolve around eating, showing luxury collections, or just casual hangouts ~ which makes it feel less special. Of course, I get that these collabs are meant to target certain markets, and some groups (or even agencies) have really strong fandom bases in specific countries. But sometimes it almost feels like the agency is just trying to maximize profit and exposure, rather than focusing on meaningful or music-related partnerships. Personally, I think it would make more sense if idols worked with influencers, creators, or even local musicians whose content actually connects to their career as artists. It would feel more natural and keep their image a bit more exclusive. Has anyone else ever thought about this, or am I just overthinking it? submitted by /u/Brave-Tumbleweed-330 [link] [comments]

Well, I think the term "all-rounder" is a very common word, and there's nothing wrong about it, and the term's definiton varies by people, too. However, the thing that "baffles" me the most...PERSONALLY (I'm not assuming anything) is that how sometimes fans use this word for a member who's just...like..."balanced" in a group. Like, for example (just as an example I found out on Tiktok): "Vocals: Liz>Yujin>Others, Dance: Yujin = Gaeul > Others, Rap: Rei > Gaeul > Others (Yujin is third), etc." And some DIVEs said "Yujin is the ALL-ROUNDER!", and I was like..."Is she?", 'cause...I feel like an "all-rounder" (personally) should be a person who is balanced AND decent (or above) in all skills (Singing, Rapping, Dancing, and even Songwriting & Production), but most of the examples of when fans use the word "all-rounder" is just a member who is "balanced" in that group. Like...for Yujin, she's very talented but...her vocals are still quite average, her rap is...not really good, her dancing is above OK, IMO (that doesn't lower her skills, still). What's your take on this? . submitted by /u/Extension-Pause-6723 [link] [comments]
I think we're all aware of how insane twitter kpop fans are and i'm pretty sure its been like this since the beginning of the app. but i can't help but to feel so shocked at the lack of braincells people have on the app and just how they act there on a daily basis. there's always fandoms hating each other and calling each other slurs to defend their favs and sometimes i feel like twitter fans are just arguing with the wall, they're like so chronically online that its giving whataboutmeism 24/7. no one can take healthy critique, they just stir up drama for no reason and sometimes i just get so ragebaited by everyone being so damn dramatic on that app. Yes i plan on deleting it but i love just scrolling seeing updates on my favs and never get involved in fandom drama. ugh who else feels this way submitted by /u/Gold-Yak-5238 [link] [comments]
