Please feel free to take this down or redirect to the correct subreddit if it's not allowed here. I'm looking at doing a cover of Blackpink's new song Jump, but I haven't found anyone else who would. I'm going to do Jennie's lines, but the other three members are still available, and it'd be recorded on bandlab. If anyone wants to please shoot me a message with the member you want and I'll invite you to a discord group where I'll share the line distribution and bandlab project submitted by /u/Old_Socks17 [link] [comments]

so recently Xinyu (S15) came on fromm and said this: "I'm not that strict. I mean, Macao is actually part of China. So is Hong Kong and Taiwan. Why, do you think I'll get a scolding for saying this? Did I say something wrong? If you don't agree with me, don't subscribe to my fromm." i don't know how to think about this since Nien (S13) is also a member of the group and she is Taiwanese/Vietnamese and they've known each other even before debuting together in tripleS. submitted by /u/illicis [link] [comments]

National Geographic "Here we have thousands of young dreamers fighting for their spot in the K-pop industry... but who will be the next big star?" Cut to Lee Minho, smiling with the innocence of someone who doesn’t know he’s about to change everything 🧍♂️: “I want to be a singer…” The world: Okay but first, do a 15-second breakdance to prove it Minho:Nah, not an audition, this is a cultural reset The camera: We’re following you And just like that, with a single dance move, He sealed his fate and changed the K-pop game forever. submitted by /u/Turiturita [link] [comments]
Earlier, in the year the news broke that MBC AI SURVIVAL SHOW A-IDOL will be happening in the first half of 2025. AI-based K-pop audition program which features LODIA-I, an AI audition producer, to provide "fair evaluations and feedback" on the singing, dancing, style of 36 idols and reassemble the best idol teams. The six groups participating in the show are considered "groups who lost their shine" - still think this line is way out of pocket. But we were going to get ICHILLIN, CSR, WOOAH, PURPLE KISS, LIGHTSUM Cube Entertainment and DreamNote, all on the show. However, it is the 2nd half of 2025 and there is no updates or news regarding it. So does anyone know what happened? Was there a statement released? Because it seemed like several episodes if not all were filmed? And the show A-IDOL won the Minister of Science and Technology Award. So, what is happening with it? submitted by /u/MasterHospital [link] [comments]

Title says it all, I can’t believe there are still vlights asking for a comeback after all of this. It’s like kpop fans have the memory of a goldfish. Have we not forgotten what KG accused JYPE of and the evidence her and her legal team put forward? Keeping water from the girls after dance practice forcing KG to practice the same move over and over again until she was injured the cameras in their dorms monitoring what they ate…without their knowledge the completely demoralized text messages between the members saying they felt like they had no personality and not liking their music, wanting to leave the group and the same blocked out person claiming the other members wanted to leave too and that KG did the right thing The “”dieting”” straight out of edtwt and one of the staff members calling eating disorders normal Trapping the girls in half a million dollars on debt and paying them 500 dollars weekly. (In California, minimum wage for minors is 10.50 an hour) Making them work past the legal limit for minors Literally trying to alter their personality’s. Look it up, it’s in the contract. It’s fucking dystopian The colorism: not allowing their skin to change color under normal amounts of sun exposure etc. Especially concerning since theres a black woman in the group and in official media she’s been extremely whitewashed. Also in the contract I can’t believe there are people willing to support a comeback or a rebrand for these girls. (Which is like putting a bandaid on a cracked fish tank) With everyone playing creative director about what direction Vcha should go in, has anyone asked the members? What music do THEY wanna make, what concept do THEY like. These are people, not products. JYPE needs to just free these girls from these horrible contracts and let them go. If they want, they can reform independently under a new name. The reputation of the group at least in the US is tarnished by the mistreatment. The brand is far more well known for what JYPE put them through than any of their actual music. The A2k project was a fucking failure in many ways creatively but most importantly in how JYPE abused and failed these girls. Also the people saying they should do a sexy concept now that Kaylee left ????? submitted by /u/LavaRoseKinnie [link] [comments]
Of course there are many award shows with different criterias. Since their debut did well in Korea there is a possibility they win ROTY but which ROTY will they win, female or male? I think majority of award shows have both categories so will they combine the categories. It's an interesting thought that I'm sure many of these award shows wouldn't have thought the possibility of like a co-ed group being considered for winning ROTY submitted by /u/DiMpLe_dolL003 [link] [comments]
Hi guys, I have a jewelry business and have loved kpop since I was little. I was looking to make some pieces inspired by different "eras" that groups have and what not but not sure if this would lead to conversion rate (if people would actually buy it). This led me to wonder, what type of jewelry do people buy or wear to a kpop concert? Simple? Layered? Maximalist? Let me know! submitted by /u/tewnaz [link] [comments]

How to play: Comment or upvote the idol you think has had the best hair of the given color. Please do not comment idols that have already won in another color. Jimin from BTS won as the male idol with the best ORANGE hair with 73 upvotes! Today's color: BLONDE/YELLOW 💛 submitted by /u/ExtensionStation6334 [link] [comments]
I'm just saying ,yeah, they might get tons of hate likes on Twitter or TikTok, and Reddit never really gives them the credit they deserve, but people still show up for them, not just Blinks. They honestly changed the game when it comes to charting for girl groups, but K-pop stans don’t really give them the props they should. submitted by /u/FlatwormUpset7897 [link] [comments]
I happened to come across a comment saying that JYP boy groups haven’t really done well on domestic charts since the 2nd gen. I didn’t quite believe it, for example Stray Kids are insanely popular and have sold a huge number of albums, so it didn’t make sense to me that they wouldn’t perform well on Domestic charts. That made me curious, so I used Grok to look into it, and here’s the response I got: Yes, Stray Kids have had several songs chart on the Melon Top 100. Here are some notable entries based on available information: "LALALALA" peaked at #48 on the Melon Top 100, marking their highest peak on this chart as of November 10, 2023. "S-Class" reached a peak of #56, surpassing their previous high with "Thunderous" at #57. It was their first song to enter the Top 100 on the Melon Daily Chart. "Chk Chk Boom" peaked at #65 on the Melon Top 100 as of July 19, 2024. "MANIAC" peaked at #71, and "MEGAVERSE" at #93. "Thunderous" peaked at #57. Additional tracks from their Rock-Star EP, including "BLIND SPOT" (#95), "Leave" (#98), and "Cover Me" (#99), also charted on the Melon Top 100. The B-side track "DOMINO" is noted as another song that charted on the Melon Top 100. While Stray Kids have achieved international success, their domestic charting on Melon has been less consistent compared to some other K-pop groups, partly due to a smaller Korean fandom relative to groups like BTS or SEVENTEEN. However, their chart performance has improved over time, with songs like "LALALALA" and "S-Class" showing stronger domestic reception. Is this info accurate? And is it really true that JYP boy groups have had a harder time charting domestically after the 2nd gen? submitted by /u/matt_vaghn [link] [comments]
