Ew trump. I do not support any misogynistic, white nationalist, incel, hitler-like (esp. Musk), racists at all and neither does this sub and apparently neither does reddit as a site as a whole. He stands against everything Kpop stands for which is an art form from a formerly colonized people from a country that is rising up against colonialism and hatred. Anyone who comments anything negative to this, or tries to defend that orange guy will be banned permanently. Go somewhere else, we don't want your lower kind here. This is why American women everywhere are going 4b EDIT!!!: 4B 4B4B4B4B4B!! 4B IN THE SOUTH, 4B IN THE NORTH, 4B FROM TEXAS TO ALABAMA, FROM BYU TO COLOMBIA! 4B ALL FIFTY STATES! Link to r/kpop's 'All About Flairs' Town Hall We included announcements for new flairs here on r/kpoppers and also on r/kpophelp. The following is the section relevant for this subreddit. NEW FLAIRS! Connect - This flair will be used for anything where fans are trying to socially connect with each other. Announcing new K-Pop subreddits or Discords, looking for mutual fans on social media, wanting to meet up at a concert, seeking fans in a region to form a dance group, networking for a fan project, announcing a K-Pop night at a club, etc. Research - Academic surveys related to K-Pop or fandom topics. We'll keep an eye on these new flairs to see if they create any confusion or need adjustments. 15.327. A quick note about the generalization rule

  • 2 years ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

The subreddit is mostly uncensored as long as people follow the rules. Generalizing statement about Korea, Korean society, etc or most other countries are not acceptable except under the following standards: The only claims that are acceptable when generalizing Korean society in this sub are those that bring up generalizable stastical claims by the standards of the international statistics institute. Not only do the vast majority of stastistics you can find on the internet about Korea not up to this minimum, basic standard but this requirement includes having ample sample size, blocking by relevant demographics and sometimes even double blind tests. So if you make a generalizing claim, your wording must be properly formatted and links to the relevant studies provided. In other words, the standard for making a generalization is very high in this sub. Not to mention the wording for your claim has to be properly made. Anyone who has taken a college level statistics class will know what I am talking about and we may even require you to provide the confidence level interval if it's relevant for your study. If you cannot meet these standards, I would just avoid doing it in general. submitted by /u/Kpop_Love_Forever [link] [comments]

1. YG and Babymonster's Ahyeon can take notes from KPDH's Ejae

  • 13 minutes ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

As we all know, both of them have high vocal registers. While Ahyeon is inarguably a very talented singer, said talent is raw at the very worst; there has been discourse on her live performances and how singing so high so often risks straining her voice later on. Ejae, on the other hand, has become a worldwide phenomenon due to her contributions to KPDH, especially for her own high notes. Then, when Huntr/x performed "Golden" on SNL and Fallon's Tonight Show over the past few days, the song's key was lowered from E minor to D minor, and the "born to be" part was sung fewer times in the latter performance. These adjustments allowed Ejae to showcase her range without overexerting her voice. So, if YG Entertainment were smart, they’d take a similar approach: finding keys that flatter all members during live performances, especially in songs where Ahyeon’s at her upper limit. It would let her shine vocally without pushing too far. [And I say this as someone who likes/follows both artists' music.] submitted by /u/6ixspAdes [link] [comments]

2. BOYNEXTDOOR are a confusing group in my opinion

  • 2 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

First of all I would like to say I do like BOYNEXTDOOR (I'm more of a casual fan) but I do find there popularity/lack of popularity extremely confusing as well as other parts about their brand. 1) I love love their concept but I feel like their music really underutilises it honestly I do find it quite samey they defo have some unique songs (earth wind and fire, one and only, if i say i love you and a couple others) but they are the minority in there discography in my opinion. 2) The feel forgatten by hybe this may partly be because they are under a different label but they just don't feel that connected to other hybe groups or even from hybe at all. It's quite confusing since they are hybes first 5th gen bg and they are quite popular so I would expect them to put more focus into them. 3) The members all seem very talented but from what i've seen at least there seems to be one member who is infitly popular compared to the rest which isn't exactly unuasal but still feels weird None of this is coming from malice I truly want them to suceed and these are only my impressions as a casual fans feel free to educate me in the comments if I am wrong. submitted by /u/ImaginaryTask1487 [link] [comments]

11. double standards in kpop can be insane(lisa)

  • 4 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

when lisa attended events like le gala des pièces jaunes or the f1, some fans questioned why she was there and linked to you freedrick even though the following year u got other kpop idols performing when lisa attended f1, kpop stans said #he helped her when in fact ferrari invited her--now u have other idols like svt attending and suddenly everyone is happy? at the vanity fair oscars issue, people said she didn’t deserve the feature, but the editor later confirmed they personally invited her because they wanted to represent someone new from kpop. the same thing happened with VS fashion show appearance — people criticized her and now twice is performing i just wanted to point out how unfair this feels. lisa worked really hard last year and all she did was attend events to gain exposure and still faced so much negativity, its just so sad. its like she was never successful without a certain somebody wow. btw i know people here dont like lisa and bp in general and thats ok, couldnt post on the uncensored sub so just needed to write this somewhere. feel free to share abt any unfair treatments ur kpop idols/groups have gone through submitted by /u/cherryade__ [link] [comments]

Idk, I feel like, it's pretty logical to assume the most popular member will have the most tagged in AO3 🤷‍♀️ submitted by /u/Personal_Damage6616 [link] [comments]

let me start by saying i’m a lisa fan and an atiny when lisa attended events like le gala des pièces jaunes or the f1, some fans questioned why she was there and linked to her bf, even though the following year u got other kpop idols performing when lisa attended f1, kpop stans said #he sponsored her when in fact ferrari invited her--now u have other idols like svt attending and suddenly everyone is happy? at the vanity fair oscars issue, people said she didn’t deserve the feature, but the editor later confirmed they personally invited her because they wanted to represent someone new from kpop. the same thing happened with her victoria’s secret fashion show appearance — people criticized her and now twice is performing i just wanted to point out how unfair that double standard feels. lisa worked really hard last year and still faced so much negativity, its just so sad. submitted by /u/cherryade__ [link] [comments]
