There's currently lots of discourse going around this headline on social media for this accomplishment, specifically between Once's and Everlasting's. The posts that have been made captioned "Twice becomes the first girl group to reach a full ten years without a single member change" are being met with fearless Everlasting's calling them out for ignoring the fact that Brown Eyed Girls were in fact the first to do so. Once's are arguing that BEG were inactive for many years, so it doesn't really count. Despite the fact that many articles were published in 2016 discussing this Brown Eyed Girls accomplishment. What's your take on this whole fiasco? Honestly, I think we should give credit where credit is due. Yes, Beg were inactive, but that should not discount the fact that they were indeed the first. But also, this is a HUGE accomplishment for Twice, so there's no need to make it a matter of "firsts" because this is something to be very proud of no matter what. submitted by /u/0x1trinity [link] [comments]

i feel like the more albums they make, the worse they get. i hated ceremony, and their latest comebacks have felt less genuine and polished imo. I wish JYPE could give skz a break so they could work on making higher quality music and also resting… it feels like they have too much going on and they will burn out yk submitted by /u/Bean_of_prosperity [link] [comments]
these 20 albums are ranked in order on ryms website as the top k-pop albums of all time (user voted). what do you personally think is the greatest kpop album of all time? In my opinion, I'd probably agree and say max & match is 100% one of, if not the greatest of all time. if there were a kpop album hall of fame, max & match would definitely be there. submitted by /u/0x1trinity [link] [comments]

K-pop-ish. HYBE Latin America's new group Santos Bravos is having their debut concert right now! Just wanted to share if anyone is interested. If this isn't the place, let me know and I will take it down. submitted by /u/tay_ola [link] [comments]
Stan culture helps me better connect with K-Pop fans. I bonded with a couple people over it. We share fancams, gush over our idols together 🥰, trade pocas, go to concerts together, we help each other out with things like voting, streaming, fan projects, social media promotional events etc it was fun for me...the good parts of stanning submitted by /u/No-Vehicle1562 [link] [comments]
I recently got into BTS and really want to go to one of their concerts next year but I'm worried from reading on here and other platforms that it will be impossible to get tickets. What do we think tickets will cost next year and what's the best way to get pre-sale tickets? submitted by /u/No-Blueberry2558 [link] [comments]
Today, they are announcing the final debut line up for the group, and they will perform their debut single soon. It's going live soon. Legit Hybe didn't promote as much of the show intl...What do you think? Is the final group name really Santos Bravos as the show name? There are already 8k views live right now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMWc1Q-5Rxk submitted by /u/IceMysterious3057 [link] [comments]

Hello! I’m planning on launching a fan project simulating what a kpop end of year awards show would look like for our very own kpopthoughts subreddit! Our “show” will be 100% fan-voted with the goals of: Cataloging the preferences of kpopthoughts users to gauge any broad biases or trends Comparing results to actual award shows to gauge differences between user preferences to charting, sales, non-English speaking demographic preferences, judge votes, etc. Curbing the annual fanwars surrounding these awards shows when fans feel like the awards are out of their control/not representative Giving artists who would not normally have the opportunity to win a greater chance at a fair competition (aka foreign idols, non big 4 groups, non commercially-focused songs) Because I think it would be interesting and fun! I already have most of the categories and nominees figured out, but I need your help nominating the daesangs! This means your picks for song of the year, album of the year, and artist of the year from October 25th 2024 to October 25th 2025. Nominations can be based on who you think is most deserving (whatever that means to you) or just a personal favorite. Thank you so much for your help and I hope you will consider participating in the project! Look out for the official launch this weekend. submitted by /u/Celeano283 [link] [comments]

When I saw the nominees for the MAMA awards I was pretty surprised, most of the time you can assume "oh x group is gonna win" But the crazy thing here is that most runners I saw, have all had solid cbs and songs this year. What are your predictions? submitted by /u/vxbingkat [link] [comments]
