i will be talking about BTS here. I was an army back in 2016 and was one till late 2019-2020. when covid hit i just stopped listening to kpop in general, fast forwarding to earlier this year i started listening to a few of the 3rd gen groups again like bts, blackpink, mamamoo, exo, twice, redvelvet but BTS has always been my fav. i was very excited to see what went on with them through the years and almost felt guilty for not being w them on the journey. anyways so as i was going through the stuff that i missed over the years i noticed that they went solo for a year and released so many singles/albums. (my fav is layover by V and indigo by RM) they all did so great! but we know as a group goes solo they attract more solo fans and thats natural and completely normal. What my main issue here is that these solos (not all) attack the other members? like ive seen many Jimin supporters or V supporters hate on each other? back in 2016 everyone in the fandom knew how close these 2 were/are. it broke my heart that these people are trying to create false narratives to create hate for the members THEY dont like. what has happened to this fandom? i cant go on twitter and not see a bunch of kids making up delusional things. anyways just wanted to rant about this here. peace. side note: love and respect all the members even if you have a fav, remember that they are a family and it would only cause them pain to see people they love getting hate from their own “fans”. submitted by /u/Maleficent_Dinner875 [link] [comments]

https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop_uncensored/s/4nTFVIyyTk OP of this post cross-posted it on snark sub and now their little snark warriors are brigading the whole post and this sub. I'm all about having a productive discussion but if your first instinct after your post failed to gain any traction is to send a group of j0bless h@ters to validate your opinion then imo, you're nothing but a l0ser (Re-posting) submitted by /u/My_Rhythm875 [link] [comments]

READ TIL THE END BEFORE YOU SAY SOMETHING! Liz from IVE was subjected to a lot of body shaming before—which she didn't deserve. Now, I grew up with a body bigger than every girl in my class and everything I heard and been through, I do not wish to happen to anyone. So when I came across posts about Liz and her body, I felt really bad for her. However, like in most cases for every idol that was body shamed, Liz's management milked the fact that people "talked" about her neverminding that it was straight up bullying. I'm talking about literally showing all the other members eating but not her and similar situations. Instead of bringing her up for her amazing voice, they pushed her image more on being the bullied one so people would feel sympathy and pity. While this doesn't work on those who are already a DIVE, for the general public (me included) this sparks interest like when you see those tiktok videos about dogs not eating on a shelter so you engage to help. Now, I wasn't that much into IVE and only recently have seen a clip of Liz again. It's obvious she had lost weight and she seems more confident. Love that for her! Although, it felt weird since the last time she was on my feed, she's this girl who almost never smiles and always had these sad eyes from all the bullying. And the next time I see her, she's sticking her tongue out and biting her lip while performing. I have nothing against that though. YOU GO, MOTHER!!!! I just didn't think she had that in her because she was held back so much by the body shaming before. I'm sorry if this post is so random and unclear I didn't have enough sleep but my point here is I just wish that the time comes in kpop where body size doesn't matter. Or if someone gets bullied for their body, their management actually protects them and doesn't push them to change just to be accepted—just so they could "be pretty" and "act pretty" like everyone else. submitted by /u/Longjumping-Brick133 [link] [comments]
