https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop_uncensored/s/4nTFVIyyTk OP of this post cross-posted it on snark sub and now their little snark warriors are brigading the whole post and this sub. I'm all about having a productive discussion but if your first instinct after your post failed to gain any traction is to send a group of j0bless h@ters to validate your opinion then imo, you're nothing but a l0ser (Re-posting) submitted by /u/My_Rhythm875 [link] [comments]

READ TIL THE END BEFORE YOU SAY SOMETHING! Liz from IVE was subjected to a lot of body shaming before—which she didn't deserve. Now, I grew up with a body bigger than every girl in my class and everything I heard and been through, I do not wish to happen to anyone. So when I came across posts about Liz and her body, I felt really bad for her. However, like in most cases for every idol that was body shamed, Liz's management milked the fact that people "talked" about her neverminding that it was straight up bullying. I'm talking about literally showing all the other members eating but not her and similar situations. Instead of bringing her up for her amazing voice, they pushed her image more on being the bullied one so people would feel sympathy and pity. While this doesn't work on those who are already a DIVE, for the general public (me included) this sparks interest like when you see those tiktok videos about dogs not eating on a shelter so you engage to help. Now, I wasn't that much into IVE and only recently have seen a clip of Liz again. It's obvious she had lost weight and she seems more confident. Love that for her! Although, it felt weird since the last time she was on my feed, she's this girl who almost never smiles and always had these sad eyes from all the bullying. And the next time I see her, she's sticking her tongue out and biting her lip while performing. I have nothing against that though. YOU GO, MOTHER!!!! I just didn't think she had that in her because she was held back so much by the body shaming before. I'm sorry if this post is so random and unclear I didn't have enough sleep but my point here is I just wish that the time comes in kpop where body size doesn't matter. Or if someone gets bullied for their body, their management actually protects them and doesn't push them to change just to be accepted—just so they could "be pretty" and "act pretty" like everyone else. submitted by /u/Longjumping-Brick133 [link] [comments]

We often see intl fans talking about how KR fans/GP dont take racism or fatphobia as serious as we do but at the same time intl fans often find it weird how serious weed or smoking scandals are for Koreans. Is there any topic you're more in-line with Korean opinions or think that Intl fans dont treat seriously? submitted by /u/kachowbestie [link] [comments]
I read somewhere that your bias personality is very similar to your own personality and your bias wreckers is your ideal type. Is this true for you? submitted by /u/ellipseie [link] [comments]
I was bored, so I made a nightmare to manage gg Group Name: Re:Line (get it cuz the line-up constantly changing HEHEHEHEHEH) Concept stays the same every cycle Contract ends every 9 months, members can choose to re-sign or leave Max 12 members per cycle Debut only if you’ve proven yourself somewhere else Each cycle with new members is called a "line" Entry Requirements (must meet at least ONE): 3+ years as a trainee Made it far in a survival show but didn’t debut Member of a disbanded group Indie artist with a solid discography How It Works: If members leave, roles get re-evaluated based on skill Trainees from other companies allowed (for exposure) New comeback every cycle no matter what Perform songs from older line-ups Color System: Each member gets a unique color during their stay Colors can be reused, but only after the original member leaves Colors are tied to persona/skill vibe, not strict roles cuz that would make things more complicated Performance Rules (aka the Prestige): Must sing live at every stage Must nail large-group choreo Must adapt to frequent formation changes This is a high-pressure, high-reward group because of the strict rules, ppl can brag their fav idol started off here Fandom Name: Standbys "Standing by" the group through constant changes Also a theater reference a standby = understudy who keeps the show alive, not a permanent role but still important Why it would probably suck Constant member turnover = constant retraining Every comeback needs something new: Vocal distributions Choreography Styling + visuals Color legacy = huge expectations Legal drama with cross-agency idols Vocal fatigue from the live-only rule Fan wars over who owned which color best Endless backup trainees who may never debut takes a bunch of negative aspects of the industry and shoves them all together -The fast pace of constantly having different line-ups, even though some members stay stationary -Large companies potentially exploiting the exposure aspect, and shoving their trainees in, even if their not ready -Hard to connect with the group as a whole -Cliques among members who had been there longer -Overworked idols submitted by /u/Current_Height_9537 [link] [comments]

Hi everyone! I used to post here about how much I really want to become an idol, but I’m from Kazakhstan, and I don’t quite fit the ideals of HYBE. I’ll be 20 in 6 months, and today I suddenly thought – maybe I should try J-pop? Even though I don’t fully understand their culture and all that, I still want to fulfill my dream. Or maybe I should join an unknown K-pop company? Anyway, you can check out my skills on my YouTube channel (there’s a reason why my dancing isn’t that great — family circumstances). I also know Korean at B2, English at B1, Russian at C1, Kazakh at C1, and I’m already thinking of learning Japanese up to B2. What do you think? My YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@deellxs?si=ixwEYWVqoFxrkRHK P.S. I really dream of being in HYBE and having a concept like NewJeans or ILLIT. submitted by /u/Big_Fix8220 [link] [comments]
