I’ve watched all their content. I’ve watched their documentary from start to finish and I still don’t get it. I’m at a complete loss. That one man from the A&R team said Juhoon is smart but I’m not getting any of that. Juhoon may be book smart but he doesn’t seem to have anything compelling to say. I find Martin to be far more insightful. Another supposed strength of Juhoon’s is his past activities as a child model but if anything that makes me just side eye his parents. Was bighit a&r hoping Juhoon’s previous activities would bring the team clout? There’s far more clout from just being a bighit group alone. Not to mention how the other members bring SO much to the table. I’ve only seen Juhoon be abysmal at pretty much everything the other members excel at. If there’s something he excels at, it’s being unable to speak without unnaturally puckering his lips. That and speaking at a speed that puts zootopia sloths to shame. He also gives me massive Korean incel ptsd and I’m not at all going to be surprised if he ends up having a xdinary heroes junhan-esque controversy. I’ve never been put off by someone to this extent before so much so that I can’t stop picturing the group without him. Personal reservations and conjecture aside, objectively what does he bring to the table? Because I’m half in love with this group but Juhoon alone is putting a huge damper on stanning because he’s such a perpetual annoyance.
