Maybe I'm 3 yrs late but hear me out, this would be long but idc, read if u like or skip it's your choice anyway. I'm honestly a fan of GFriend and I love them so much but after their fyi termination of contract from the sht comp i loose my passion listening to songs bcs i dnt find reason to, my fav gg was not making music anymore the very reason I'm in. Although have known that Eunha, Sinb and Umji had signed a new contract for new agency and made their new group i just cant seem to get into it bcs I'm probably lost, i ddnt follow them around like i used to to in gfriend I was that heartbroken. Not that i dnt support them or dislike the idea of them re-debuting , but listening to Ksongs again is hard and devastating for me that i came to the point I have to skip every post related to them :( But this time around, my first ever comeback La la love me hit me hard. Like i started to think what i have been doing, why I'm so lost still yet my girls are doing just fine. They have grown so much and their level of confidence shooked me .I saw a dif part of them that I don't see when they are in gf. These girls again proved how good they are even after the mess. They built and introduced their name once again to the industry and made a PAK. I've seen a lot of hates about them joining the show Q2, bcs they insisted that they're lacking bcs they were just 3 of them they lost their main vocal etc., and that they won't do well as a group joining the 4th gen. Well look what they made you do. They just made the whole knetz shake and popped their 엉덩이 (butt) and it's gone viral. They don't follow the trends to gain attention, but the trend follows them. ksht will say they are flop bcs MV views doesn't do much. MV views doesn't matter for me, that's not how u appreciate the song. Viviz doesn't do or follow cute and girly and sexy trends like what we are seeing in kpop now, bcs they do it in a very unique style you wouldn't even notice. Everyone is entitled in their own opinion ofc but you can't deny the fact that VIVIZ Is really doing well making their own signature/trademark in the K industry. WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT THAT EVEN AFTER THEY DID THEM DIRTY THEY STILL CHOSE TO CONTINUE AND CONTRIBUTE BEAUTY MUSIC TALENT IN KPOP WORLD. well shame on ppl who belittle and hurt them, spread rumors that they dont like each other to begin that's why they ddnt renew contract to continue as Gfriend. EUNHA SINB AND UMJI PROVED Y'ALL WRONG 😏 Oh if someone try to ask what abt the others, well their just doing fine making their own name too,if curious enough, go ahead, dive in and follow their activities you're very much welcome to be part of the family. submitted by /u/tatte_z [link] [comments]

does anyone know anything about the new yuehua trainees? There was a rumor that 3-4 new trainees would join the zb1 members for the new yuehua bg in 2026 and one trainee already signed the contract. I know that yuehua has a bunch of trainees so im curious if anyone knows who the new trainees are and which ones are likely to join the new bg submitted by /u/No_Duty7080 [link] [comments]
I was listening to a random kpop playlist and HyunA's 'Roll Deep' played. It felt nostalgic and it brought me back to Kpop 10 years ago. She was one of the popular female soloist back then. I remember being hooked to 'Babe' and 'How's this?". HyunA's a great dancer and the choreography of her songs are really good. I remember dancing to them and I'd feel sexy. Haha. It's unfortunate that we can't have such concept again like HyunA's. submitted by /u/ISeeYouuu_ [link] [comments]

I consider myself a Kpop-fan since 2020. I'm listening to multiple groups but my ultimate bias is V. I'm upto date about his schedule an so on and actively following him on sns. BUT lately I'm called an anti bc I'm not listening to his songs like winter ahead 20+ times a day Like dude I like him no doubt but I do like other artists and especially OTHER GENRES (like Hardcore and Uptempo) too or even more at the moment but Kpopfans won't accept the fact my most listened artist is N-Vitral rather than V So what are your thoughts about this and what other situation are coming to your mind that are making you think: "WTF dude, let me breathe" submitted by /u/blood_crystal_tiger [link] [comments]
personally very disappointed with the direction that the group i stan is heading towards… despite these english tracks being somewhat successful, i see disappointed fans—the same fans who carry these comebacks to success. i think it’s more of the fans’ loyalty that gets them by rather than the fans truly enjoying the music. i’ve been seeing so many english-speaking stans comment that they’re disappointed with their almost full english tracks. honestly, their being korean is part of their charm. they’re themselves (not to mention cute) when they express themselves confidently. they look pitiful and frustrated when they are unable to communicate with their fans. going back to their songs, their english sounds so unnatural and incomprehensible—no matter the effort they put. so why force it? not to mention the lyrics being cringe and ends up ruining the flow. i understand that their company wants to cater to the west, but in reality it’s their korean songs that brought them their popularity there. full english tracks from kpop groups barely make noise in the west, not unless you are BTS or BP so i think these other groups should just stick to their initial formula. might help with their idols’ confidence too and cause less anxiety when performing. let’s face it, kpop groups with english-speaking members are the key to the west NOT english tracks. submitted by /u/Zealousideal_Net2830 [link] [comments]

I was relistening to the RPWP album and out of love came on. From 0:50 to about 1:11 there is an adlib behind the beat panned more to the left that sounds familiar to me, but I can't place where I might have heard it before. I think it's from a older hip hop song, maybe 2000s(?), it's definitely not kpop. idk. It sounds like he or whoever did the background vocals is saying 'cant/can you feel it?’. idk this is probably a shot in the dark, but if anyone recognises it I would greatly appreciate whatever input anyone has to offer 💙 submitted by /u/cgeel981016 [link] [comments]

Since music is such a central part of the hobby, especially in kpop, how much do fans actually think about the gear they use to listen? What’s your usual setup for listening to music headphones, IEMs, speakers, etc.? Do you what service do you stream from, do you self host, do you buy digital, or still rip your CDs? Do you use a digital audio player (DAP), or just stick with your phone? One of the main reasons I'm asking is because it’s surprising how often fan archives and boycott drives only have MP3s despite the amount of fans who own the cds. Do current gen fans rip cds? I've been able to find flac and wav rips from internet archives but it's never from big accounts that make fansites and databases strangely. I’m not saying everyone needs to go full audiophile with multi-thousand dollar setups but even proper digitization of music you own with some decent headphones, IEMs, or a basic DAC can make a huge difference. Personally, I’ve been using my CCA CRA and Moondrop Aria IEMs for most of my on the go listening and Sennheiser HD599SE open-backs at home. I’m still on the lookout for a solid planar headphones tho For portability, I use a modded iPod Classic (new battery, 1tb flash storage, and Rockbox), and I’ve been thinking about getting a Snowsky DAP to supplement it. Most of my music is ripped from CDs especially my K-pop albums because I prefer having control over the quality and building a proper archive. submitted by /u/moomoomilky1 [link] [comments]
