So I was on Instagram and I can e across this post by a supposedly REALLY new kpop boy group, and they’re calling themselves “B Friends” and they have like nine posts. They’re that new. They’re all still around 14 ish. Supposedly they’re releasing their first song in a few days or something? Anyways I just wanted to know if any of you knew if they’re real or anything. Also sorry if this is the wrong post flair it’s my first post here submitted by /u/IDontKnowMyGender82 [link] [comments]

We know some (if not most) Kpop groups lately focus on one genre because the companies think that’s their brand or what made them popular but which idol or group do you think isn’t afraid to explore when it comes to their music? submitted by /u/Swimming-Pudding1563 [link] [comments]

I’ll use H2H as an example here. Everyone’s been talking about Best New Artist lately, and compared to ADP or Cortis, it feels like H2H still isn’t seen as big. Personally, I think that’s because they’re growing steadily, not through an instant hit. Looking at the numbers, H2H is second in domestic/digital streams after ADP (350M+ vs 250M+). Globally (Spotify), H2H actually leads with 170M+ streams, while Cortis is around 110M+ but Cortis is rising so fast considered they're just 2 months old. H2H album sales are also one the highest. Unlike others rookie who might have one strong category and lack in others, H2H is just consistent and balanced in all categories (digital, album, global) The reason people don’t see them as standout yet is because they don’t have that one instant hit, and the community tends to value that more than consistent growth. I’ve seen this happen with a few other groups too. What do you guys think? Any other examples? submitted by /u/Difficult_Bit_3025 [link] [comments]
It might be a silly question, but I’m genuinely curious if any of you have ever interacted with an idol before they became famous or back when they were just ‘ordinary people.’ In my case, I met an idol before she debuted. She actually told me about her group’s concept and we had a great conversation, I even got her autograph. I still keep it to this day, and I’m wondering if experiences like this are rare or somewhat common. This isn’t to brag or expose her, I’m just really curious. Thanks for taking the time to read. submitted by /u/CripticalPuma002 [link] [comments]

so turns out the newfound fascination with benadryl and the increasingly bizarre statements and the inability to sleep was ssri induced hypomania thank you to everyone for humoring me anyways though i hope you guys all get to meet your idols one day (preferably not on 600 mg of diphenhydramine) i still love wonyoung and gunwook just maybe not enough to risk dementia submitted by /u/xumeiyu [link] [comments]
For me, it’s Kwon Eun Bi. First of all, she’s really pretty and has such a nice personality. I’ve seen her in plenty of variety shows, and she’s always so likeable. She’s not only beautiful but also incredibly talented. She can sing and dance really well. Even back in her IZ*ONE days, she showed great potential, she even wrote the song Spaceship for their first album. Since then, she’s been consistently releasing albums and contributing to Korean drama OSTs. She’s one of my favorite soloists! It pains me that people only know her because of her Waterbomb fancams, when there’s so much more to appreciate about her. submitted by /u/_berrystrawberry [link] [comments]
