You know how fans love to rank idol singing abilities A+–, B+–, C+–, D+-and more. And people like to compare who are the best singers in K-pop, so I noticed something: some fans get mad when people won’t mention their idol because they are the main/lead vocal and have a well-known tone in the group. Some of y’all need to know your favorite idol are ok singers . Yes, they have more lines than their members because they are the only ones who can hold a note, but if you bring up who’s the top vocalist and people don’t say your idol, don’t get mad. It's just that they're not the best vocalist compared to them. Like I stan a group where their main/lead vocalist is not a strong vocalist compared to EXO's Chen, Red Velvet's Wendy, or Mamamoo's Solar. BTOB Eunkwang.. So yeah,it’s ok to admit your favorite idol is not a powerhouse vocalist and it’s don’t mean your idols have bad songs and sometimes they have have better songs compared powerhouse vocalist. In the posts that are the "who's your favorite ___", or "what would your dream line up be" that are just meant to be fun for some reason there's always a ton of down votes. It's not about who's the best, or a competition, it's just who people like for fun. It's uncontroversial idols all the time too. Im 19 and never dated anyone. Right now it seems impossible to find anyone to match my standards because i keep dreaming about the dream man which i havent even met. I think its really rare to even find a guy that has the visuals in the level of a kpop idol. Ofc looks arent everything but I do care about looks alot to be attracted to someone. I dont wanna lower my standards tho. Id rather fangirl over a kpop boygroup and go to their concerts while getting interactions from them. Of course I know its fanservice and isnt real. It still makes me happy and it kindof fills the empty hole of not having a boyfriend. If I started dating someone idk if i could even fangirl like how i am doing right now. Idk it become a pet peeve of mine when people made a post about how they slowly losing interest in kpop and made a bjillion reason why they 'left' like they left a cult. Like... you just losing interest and that's it. Isn't it the same with any other artists or piece of media. There will be time where you hyperfixate over it and later you'll find another thing to be obsessed about, or maybe one day you might find yourself back on that old hyperfixation. That's normal??? I have never seen this type of posts with other things other than kpop. I mean you can outgrown western artists too. I heard that there are genuinely many people in Indonesia rooting for Carmen. In the release of this music video as well, Indonesia was the country that most quickly climbed the YouTube trending video rankings. It seems like she is a pride for them. I really understand what it feels like to wish for a fellow countryman's success from afar in a foreign country.
