Ew trump. I do not support any misogynistic, white nationalist, incel, hitler-like (esp. Musk), racists at all and neither does this sub and apparently neither does reddit as a site as a whole. He stands against everything Kpop stands for which is an art form from a formerly colonized people from a country that is rising up against colonialism and hatred. Anyone who comments anything negative to this, or tries to defend that orange guy will be banned permanently. Go somewhere else, we don't want your lower kind here. Hey folks! Over in r/kpop we just posted a new special Town Hall that is focused only on the Flairs we use to help organize our posts based on content categories. Link to r/kpop's 'All About Flairs' Town Hall We included announcements for new flairs here on r/kpoppers and also on r/kpophelp. The following is the section relevant for this subreddit. NEW FLAIRS! Connect - This flair will be used for anything where fans are trying to socially connect with each other. Announcing new K-Pop subreddits or Discords, looking for mutual fans on social media, wanting to meet up at a concert, seeking fans in a region to form a dance group, networking for a fan project, announcing a K-Pop night at a club, etc. Research - Academic surveys related to K-Pop or fandom topics. We'll keep an eye on these new flairs to see if they create any confusion or need adjustments. Let us know if you have any thoughts, concerns, or questions! submitted by /u/alleybetwixt [link] [comments]
it was funny how SM collab became an annual thing for Soyeon 😂 submitted by /u/i-dle [link] [comments]
Every once in a while you see people crying about social media fanwars and drama on different Reddit subs. I‘m sorry but most of y‘all don‘t actually care about what‘s going on down there, you just want to use social media drama to start fanwars with different fandoms and to incite hate towards the groups. If you would actually care about the music and the members then social media drama wouldn‘t be an issue to you. But since y‘all only care about drama, numbers and fanwars, that‘s where we are now…. No one forces you to be on K-Pop social media, you‘re doing that to yourself. There are perfectly fine group subreddits that you could use to get your content. You can very easily ignore all that BS but you don‘t want to because how else would you start fanwars on Reddit then…. submitted by /u/Future_Sounds_ [link] [comments]
Sometimes, it will be brought up that certain members get hate and fans get upset at OP for talking about it. Fans of the group get upset at people for defending members of that group. Fans even label OP or any defender as akgaes. Sorry it’s absurd to be a fan and get upset at anyone for defending members of your fave group. And it’s more absurd these fans are upset at other fans who defend their group but not at the antis making hate comments towards the members submitted by /u/taejinkook28 [link] [comments]
First off, let me clear, I absolutely adore Cortis (as you can see, most of my posts are about them and are quite positive 😭) and don’t blame them for this one bit. But, the use of that brand in the MV for Lullaby was so disappointing. What’s more annoying is that BigHit should’ve know better than to use it considering the criticism BTS’s V received for it too. It just goes to show the blind eye these large companies have towards such critical social issues. It’s always and always going to be just about money for them. I hope fans don’t switch their morals. Constructive criticism is NOT hate and SHOULD be provided by fans. I also hope the five don’t get hated on for this. Considering the fact that they helped direct the video, they maybe the ones who thought of using the brand. Even so, isn’t it the company’s responsibility to teach them and prevent such incidents? They are only kids after all. submitted by /u/Busy-Schedule-1407 [link] [comments]
I am uploading a Seventeen BSS mashup soon but I'm not sure what title I should use for it. Normally I just quote the name and put the songs from the instrumental in brackets behind it - but I think people don't recognize that it's actually a mashup or a remix. Should I put something like "Seventeen BSS x (mashup song or artist)" in the title? I'm not good with naming things for others so they can understand... submitted by /u/vdrawer [link] [comments]

╭────────────────╮ Hey everyone, it’s that time of the quarter when I will look back on it and find out what took over. The 3rd quarter was pretty good as I got to go on my second vacation, taking a break from work. I also had the opportunity to hear some excellent music that helped brighten up the quarter. I can’t believe we have three more months left in 2025, and the year will be over. Now, let’s jump into the quarter and see what took over. ╰────────────────╯ https://preview.redd.it/t2ldsk843yrf1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb35746f90942a1f668c9ce55012da0609d60e8a Honorable Mentions Songs: 도망 - Hanroro Fire (My Sweet Misery) - Xdinary Heroes When Love Passed - Seventeen Be Alright - IVE Dancing Alone/Strawberry Cheesegame - KiiiKiiiI’, 시작의 아이 ❍ - Park Da Hye & Maktub Topping - ILLIT BAKA (feat. Chanmina) - pH-1 Goodbye, My Summer - Hanaroro ━━━━━━━━━★ Song: La Vie En Bleu - Joy Joy takes over the quarter with my favorite Korean song, which makes me feel like I'm in Paris. The guitar crafts this smooth melody that fits perfectly with the singer's voice. The snapping we got in the tune added. The hook has been stuck in my head since the first time I heard it, and I still can’t get it out of my head. I’m glad Joy got to return with more solo music cause she has some excellent tunes. I’m still surprised that Joy spoke French in a few moments of the track. https://preview.redd.it/5l3f5n5h3yrf1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=81bdad17796ab2e6fb1f066689304d6b7df352c6 ━━━━━━━━━★ Honorable Mentions Albums: PERCENT - ONEW The 1st full album [BLISS] - D.O. MOLLAK - Jvcki Wai & Vangdale The 1st Album 'A Montage of ( )' - VIVIZ GTA 7 : side b - GIST & Trade L Enemy - Twice In Bloom - Yuju Plot Twist - AtHeart Evelution - Lun8 WHAT HAVE WE DONE - pH-1 JAMONG SALGU CLUB - Hanaroro From JOY, with Love - The 1st Mini Album - Joy ━━━━━━━━━★ Album: IVE Secret - IVE IVE takes over with an album that kept pulling me back for more. I didn’t expect the group to deliver another record this year that kept popping up on my playlist. XOXZ is the title track with a thumping bass that kept pulling me back for more. The title track is a stronger opener than the album as it does a great job moving the record forward. Dear My Feelings is a funky-pop tune that has been stuck in my head, and the vocals on that song are smooth to the bone. Midnight Kiss closes out the album perfectly with a strong track that is still on my playlist rotation. IVE continues to impress me this year with the music they have been putting out. https://preview.redd.it/ckkhdmiv3yrf1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c4884f5c37075b8834d6f454f93f43bf650067b9 ━━━━━━━━━★ Non-Korean Release Honorable Mentions: Back in the Saddle - Luke Combs Oh My Pumpkin - AKB48 Ambivalence - NELKELife Quest - TAKANE NO NADESHIKO Teenage Blue - Hi-Fi Unicorn Disco Nap - Shania Yan Peace, Love & Cowboy - Lainey Wilson ━━━━━━━━━★ Album: FORTISSIMØ - PaleNeØ PaleNeø is a Japanese female metal band that I discovered this quarter. I checked out all the music the band has put out and fell in love with it. The new album FORTISSIMØ has been one album I’ve been loving as the band has some killer guitar solos that blend wonderfully with the excellent vocals. Tracks 8-11 are this four-part song that hits with each part that I’ve been having on repeat like crazy. It’s hard to pick a favorite song on the album, as each tune delivers something to the table that keeps everything moving. The album does a fantastic job moving from one song to another, making the project feel complete. I’m glad I discovered this band and can’t wait to hear more new music from this talented band. https://preview.redd.it/iz0lnkv64yrf1.jpg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=780cbef46c74a97b62dc6e6cb10f38162293860c submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]

SuA won as our leader yesterday!!! What main dancer do you think should be our visual and Fotg (note that they don’t have to be the visual of their own group, just an idol you think would fit) Whoever has the most upvoted comment after a day will win! submitted by /u/cait_ceecee [link] [comments]
This almost ruined the song for me when I first heard it. Everytime I went back to the original, all I could hear was this. I had to stop listening to this song for a week just to forget about the english version. I despise this version and was so surprised people actually like it. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]

Like, is it the pronunciation? Word choices? Or just being familiar with the og version making the translation awkward regardless of how good it is? I once saw that lyrical structure of Korean vs English songs are inherently too different to be able to replicate the exact quality across languages but given a lot of K-pop demos are made by western producers and sung w English lyrics I don’t think that’s it. There’s like only one English version I’ve ever liked/preferred to the og, and that’s love talk by wayv. All the other English versions of K-pop songs I’ve heard were unbearable to listen to, and I wanna know why 😭 submitted by /u/flower5214 [link] [comments]
