I have noticed this, as someone who has been a fan of big bang and T.O.P for several years that some of the fans are extremely elitist. They will claim to have been OG VIPs then I will look at their bios on Instagram and they're like 14 or something lol which means they weren't even alive long enough to be OGs. Anyways the toxicity I have noticed is from said fans towards newer fans of T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun). The newer fans being ones that found him through his character portrayal of Thanos from squid game. I see comments all over social media where people will praise his acting or Thanos the character and then theres so many bitter big bang fans in the comments replying to the positive ones, just hating on others for being new or liking Thanos. Like theyre yucking on others yum. These toxic fans also have insane levels of delusion, basically begging T.O.P in his comments to return to big bang when he has explicitly made it clear he doesnt plan to and is releasing a solo album. They seem to have levels of superiority in their own minds since they found him before squid game allegedly. Its just a weird level of parasocial obsession and hostility. TLDR Some fans of TOP/ Bigbang are outright hostile and elitist towards newer fans of his who found him through his acting career and squid game submitted by /u/Possible-External-33 [link] [comments]

And I’m being serious. Somi releases a single every 12 months. GTA 6 is coming out in 10 months. I really like Extra and Fast Forward; I just wish she would have comebacks more often 😭😭😭 submitted by /u/skairym [link] [comments]

3years and 6 month is obviously not enough for what he did. However it is far from being the first time that a man is sentenced such a light punishment for a crime regarding women. Indeed, South Korea has one of the most patriarchal societies in the world and is not that good for women at all. This is not the safe heaven y’all think it is and is highly forgiving to men. submitted by /u/Elynuunn [link] [comments]

Hey everyone, I’m a bit of a late Blinks convert — I really got into BLACKPINK more recently, after their solo projects started rolling out. So I didn’t follow them super closely during the earlier years, but I’ve been catching up. One thing I keep seeing across Reddit threads (especially in K-pop-related subs) is this recurring sentiment that BLACKPINK doesn't feel like a group anymore, or that they’re not really interested in being a group now. Some people even go as far as saying they feel more like co-workers than friends, which honestly surprises me. I get where some of it might come from — they’ve each been focusing on solo work a lot lately, and we don’t see them together as often. And even I’ll admit, when I look at the way they’re moving these days, it does sometimes feel more like four individuals than a tightly-knit group. But at the same time… just because they aren’t joined at the hip 24/7 doesn’t mean they don’t care about the group or each other, right? So I wanted to ask — for those of you who feel like BLACKPINK isn’t a group anymore (emotionally or professionally), what exactly makes you feel that way? Is it a lack of group content? Their solo-focused branding? The vibe in performances or interviews? Or just a general energy shift? Not trying to start a fight — I’m just genuinely curious. I’d love to hear your perspectives, especially if you’ve followed them for a while. submitted by /u/No_Background9179 [link] [comments]

I’m sorry but this is absolutely insane. Moon Taeil, gets 7 years for a fucking serious crime (you know what I’m talking about), and now it’s cut down to 3 just because he admitted it? Are we giving out discounts now for saying “yep, that was me”? That’s all it takes? This isn’t some minor scandal. This is not some idol being messy. This is someone who destroyed another person’s life. And now he gets to serve half the time because he nodded and said “I’m guilty”? Who gives a shit? U should be guilty. You ARE guilty. The damage is done. Bro, if ur first reaction to a crime like this is to worry about your fave’s career or feelings, you’re part of the fucking problem. You don’t get to cherry pick your morals just because you liked his vocals in 127. This is exactly why people don’t speak up. This is why victims stay silent. Because when the abuser is famous, he gets lawyers and PR and second chances, and the victim gets what? Trauma and a front row seat to everyone defending the person who hurt them. And don’t even get me started on the courts. This is just more proof that if you’re famous, rich, and play the game right, you can get away with basically anything. Justice? Nah, just vibes. I don’t care if he was your bias. I don’t care how “kind” he seemed. There’s no comeback from this. There’s no redemption arc. Just pure, fckin dissapointment submitted by /u/Seesawey [link] [comments]

Okay, so I have this kinda crazy theory. Remember how Jungkook used to comment under Chaewon’s posts a lot? Throughout most of 2023, especially from the beginning of the year until around October, he was interacting a lot with Chaewon-related content online. He did tons of lives that year, and he often played LE SSERAFIM songs. He even specifically sang along to Chaewon’s parts during those lives. And apart from commenting on her TikToks, he was openly teasing her during his lives too, which, btw, he rarely does with anyone. But I think most of us remember that part. But here’s where it gets interesting... Chaewon went on a short hiatus on October 13, 2023. Then, on November 8, 2023, she posted an Instagram story using Jungkook’s "Hate You" as the background audio and even highlighted the lyrics. story link. Chaewon never does posts or stories like that... where she just posts a song and highlights the lyrics ...as if she was trying to send a message through the song and lyrics. And to add to that, Jungkook completely stopped interacting with any Chaewon related content after that story. He stopped playing LE SSERAFIM songs on his lives and doing dance challenges with them. And Chaewon stopped using Jungkook’s songs on her posts or stories too. https://preview.redd.it/njil0ro0uzbf1.jpg?width=1017&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ecde332d929a77a987d247aee574e109a9a7576d So, my theory is… they were probably dating at some point in 2023 and quietly broke up around October. Maybe the breakup hit Chaewon hard, which is why she took that short hiatus (which was disguised as the flu by the company). Then she came back and posted that story with the lyrics of "Hate You" by Jungkook to express how she felt. And after that, they both moved on and never interacted again. submitted by /u/Alternative-Pop-6280 [link] [comments]
