MY THEORY - Jungkook dating chaewon might have been true

Okay, so I have this kinda crazy theory. Remember how Jungkook used to comment under Chaewon’s posts a lot? Throughout most of 2023, especially from the beginning of the year until around October, he was interacting a lot with Chaewon-related content online. He did tons of lives that year, and he often played LE SSERAFIM songs. He even specifically sang along to Chaewon’s parts during those lives. And apart from commenting on her TikToks, he was openly teasing her during his lives too, which, btw, he rarely does with anyone. But I think most of us remember that part. But here’s where it gets interesting... Chaewon went on a short hiatus on October 13, 2023. Then, on November 8, 2023, she posted an Instagram story using Jungkook’s "Hate You" as the background audio and even highlighted the lyrics. Chaewon never does posts or stories like that... where she just posts a song and highlights the lyrics ...as if she was trying to send a message through the song and lyrics. And to add to that, Jungkook completely stopped interacting with any Chaewon related content after that story. He stopped playing LE SSERAFIM songs on his lives and doing dance challenges with them. And Chaewon stopped using Jungkook’s songs on her posts or stories too. So, my theory is… they were probably dating at some point in 2023 and quietly broke up around October. Maybe the breakup hit Chaewon hard, which is why she took that short hiatus (which was disguised as the flu by the company). Then she came back and posted that story with the lyrics of "Hate You" by Jungkook to express how she felt. And after that, they both moved on and never interacted again. submitted by /u/Alternative-Pop-6280 [link] [comments]

1.635. Taeil’s sentencing says a lot about South Korea

3years and 6 month is obviously not enough for what he did. However it is far from being the first time that a man is sentenced such a light punishment for a crime regarding women. Indeed, South Korea has one of the most patriarchal societies in the world and is not that good for women at all. This is not the safe heaven y’all think it is and is highly forgiving to men. submitted by /u/Elynuunn [link] [comments]

1.637. What's with the narrative that BLACKPINK isn't interested in being a group anymore?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Hey everyone, I’m a bit of a late Blinks convert — I really got into BLACKPINK more recently, after their solo projects started rolling out. So I didn’t follow them super closely during the earlier years, but I’ve been catching up. One thing I keep seeing across Reddit threads (especially in K-pop-related subs) is this recurring sentiment that BLACKPINK doesn't feel like a group anymore, or that they’re not really interested in being a group now. Some people even go as far as saying they feel more like co-workers than friends, which honestly surprises me. I get where some of it might come from — they’ve each been focusing on solo work a lot lately, and we don’t see them together as often. And even I’ll admit, when I look at the way they’re moving these days, it does sometimes feel more like four individuals than a tightly-knit group. But at the same time… just because they aren’t joined at the hip 24/7 doesn’t mean they don’t care about the group or each other, right? So I wanted to ask — for those of you who feel like BLACKPINK isn’t a group anymore (emotionally or professionally), what exactly makes you feel that way? Is it a lack of group content? Their solo-focused branding? The vibe in performances or interviews? Or just a general energy shift? Not trying to start a fight — I’m just genuinely curious. I’d love to hear your perspectives, especially if you’ve followed them for a while. submitted by /u/No_Background9179 [link] [comments]

1.639. Moon Taeil gets 3 years for ruining someone’s life. All he had to do was say “yeah I did it”? What the actual fuck.

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I’m sorry but this is absolutely insane. Moon Taeil, gets 7 years for a fucking serious crime (you know what I’m talking about), and now it’s cut down to 3 just because he admitted it? Are we giving out discounts now for saying “yep, that was me”? That’s all it takes? This isn’t some minor scandal. This is not some idol being messy. This is someone who destroyed another person’s life. And now he gets to serve half the time because he nodded and said “I’m guilty”? Who gives a shit? U should be guilty. You ARE guilty. The damage is done. Bro, if ur first reaction to a crime like this is to worry about your fave’s career or feelings, you’re part of the fucking problem. You don’t get to cherry pick your morals just because you liked his vocals in 127. This is exactly why people don’t speak up. This is why victims stay silent. Because when the abuser is famous, he gets lawyers and PR and second chances, and the victim gets what? Trauma and a front row seat to everyone defending the person who hurt them. And don’t even get me started on the courts. This is just more proof that if you’re famous, rich, and play the game right, you can get away with basically anything. Justice? Nah, just vibes. I don’t care if he was your bias. I don’t care how “kind” he seemed. There’s no comeback from this. There’s no redemption arc. Just pure, fckin dissapointment submitted by /u/Seesawey [link] [comments]

1.647. So you destroy someone’s life, admit it, and get a discount? Congrats, Moon Taeil. Just 3 years for being a monster.

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Are we seriously living in a world where saying “Yeah, I did it” after committing a vile, life ruining crime gets you a damn sentence reduction? Moon Taeil, ex-NCT member, was handed 7 years. Asentence that already felt too light considering the gravity of what he did. And now? It’s been reduced to 3 years, just because he admitted it. Let’s call this what it is: a joke. A twisted, disgusting joke served by a justice system that bends over backwards the second someone with a bit of fame cries in court. Admitting guilt isn’t remorse. It’s not redemption. It’s the bare minimum, and even then, it’s often strategic. His legal team played the game, and it worked. And the victim? They get to live with the trauma forever, while he walks out in 3 years and maybe even plans a comeback if the industry’s moral rot allows it. Worse still? The fandom apologists. “Let’s wait for all the facts.” “He’s not that kind of person.” “People change.”(???) Spare me. If you’re more upset about your fav going to jail than about what he did to another human being, your priorities are rotted to the core. This isn’t a KPop scandal. This is a fucking crime, and one that reflects a massive, systemic issue: celebrities getting off easy because they’re marketable, because their faces sell merch, because fans will eat up anything as long as it comes with a pretty face and a sob story. No idol deserves a platform after this. No redemption arc. No fucking second chance. He’s not brave. He’s not sorry. He’s just another abuser with a fanbase willing to forgive the unforgivable. submitted by /u/Seesawey [link] [comments]

Are you sick of BabyMonster's constant twerking Cause I'm & now people will say don't watch BM then, and actually, I kind of stopped seeing their content/music; it's the occasional reels/shorts that come up mostly them doing the unnecessary twerking even if it is concert, singing shows or anything and I feel that is not needed. submitted by /u/LingonberrySuch8557 [link] [comments]

1.650. TAEIL has been sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison. Arrested in the courtroom following sentence.

  • reddit.com language

At 2 p.m. on the 10th, the 26th Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court held the first trial sentencing date for violating the special law (special level runage) on the punishment of a total of three people including Tae Il for sexual violence crimes. On this day, the court sentenced Tae-il and other three people to 3 years and 6 months in prison. In addition, he ordered a 40-hour sexual violence treatment program, a notice of disclosure of personal information, and a job restricted for 5 years from children and youth-related institutions. Tae-il, who was tried in a state of undetained, was detained in court after the first trial sentence. The court said, "Since the prison sentence is imposed, it is judged that there is a scree of escape, and an arrest warrant is issued." Earlier last month, the prosecution sought 7 years in prison for Tae-il, who was accused of special juno-extage under the Sexual Violence Punity Act. On this day, Taeil appeared in court wearing black tops and bottoms. People who are presumed to be Taeil's fans were seen in court. Taeil is accused of sexually assaulting a drunken woman and two accomplices in June last year. The Seoul Bangbae Police Station, which was in charge of the case, called Tae-il as a suspect in August last year to investigate and sent the case to the prosecutor in September of that year. The police said it was necessary to arrest Taeil, so he applied for an arrest warrant, but the court rejected it. Taeil debuted with NCT's first unit NCT U in 2016. After that, he was also active as a member of NCT 127, another unit in the group, but was expelled from NCT and his agency SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM) in the aftermath of this incident in October last year. In October last year, SM said, 'The exclusive contract with Taeil has been terminated on October 15, 2024,' and 'Taeil is currently under investigation by the prosecutor's office for a criminal prosecution case, and this is not only the reason for the termination of the exclusive contract, but also the trust as an artist, so it was decided to terminate the exclusive contract with the person'. In particular, Tae-il was shocked to reveal that he continued activities such as the fan meeting to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the NCT 127 debut held in August of that year, even though he knew that he was accused of a sex crime. However, SM said that he found out about Taeil's defendant around August. submitted by /u/jqiwyoxn [link] [comments]

Can someone tell me what flair to use https://www.instagram.com/kayleegracelee/# https://youtube.com/shorts/PkqvrefRfwc?si=Ya9upqRiLxYVI_wv She went on an instagram live but people said it could be AI generated, I watched it though and it didn't look fake since she talked abt a comment saying she looked older. None of the other VCHA girls (other than KG) have personal insta accounts (that are 100% confirmed to be theirs and are active) so people say that it's a sign that she's leaving the group. Tbh even if VCHA does come back their not going to be successful especially considering all the proof that KG gave against JYP and that JYP never gave an official statement. They would be better of disbanding, the oldest is only 19 they could still go to uni or get signed to a different label. submitted by /u/AvocadoFun3905 [link] [comments]
