now we all have seen that boys 2 planet had just started airing however it’s been mess after mess with one participant having some serious allegations after the other now the one i’m going to talk about in particular is the chinese participant jinyu and how he was a blink hating on jungkook, twice and aespa on weibo now im not going to act like i don’t participate in fanwars myself, however i wouldn’t go to the extent of making such disgusting comments like he did, now army’s are on his ass cus online he was talking bad about jk while he danced to one of his songs irl now to mnet: if you ever think of doing a survival show then PLEASEEEE do a thorough and proper background check cus i/we don’t think we have seen this many trainees getting into this many allegations before submitted by /u/Free-Application860 [link] [comments]
I’ve been following NCT since 2020, and Dream since Hot Sauce era in 2021, which was their first OT7 album after they were made a permanent unit. Whether it was physicals, digitals, music shows wins, or filling up stadiums (like Jamsil), they were doing great. Hot Sauce, Hello Future, Glitch Mode, Beatbox, Candy, ISTJ, all did decently on Melon and had strong album sales. Smoothie didn’t have impressive charting, but Dream()scape was a solid album with a not-so-great title track. Dreamscape reminded me a bit of the NCT127's Superhuman situation. Lack of promotions, the comeback live timing mishap, and the fact that they weren’t even in Korea on the comeback day. This time, things looked more promising. A proper rollout, double title tracks, more variety show appearances, and overall a grander promo plan. Sure, not everything went smoothly. Physical albums got delayed and the comeback happened during a very packed time with other major groups returning too. But even then, the charting feels low for Dream. They're already out of Melon’s daily top 100 and it has been just a week since the release. So I’m wondering, is it because the fandom has become stagnant? Or is this just more of SM not managing their older groups well? But even then, how much of the blame can we really put on that? And for anyone who clicked this out of curiosity, check out Interlude: Back to Our Paradise from the new album. The vocal layering is lovely. submitted by /u/Letzz_get_it [link] [comments]
Every time I hear about Boysplanet2, its always because of some scandal that one of the trainee's had gotten into, rather it be a misogyny scandal or a fanwar scandal. And If I am correct, we are only a week into the show. I really doubt that the show will get any better as it progresses. submitted by /u/Ilovehuskies1111 [link] [comments]
I have quite a few. I love when companies or just groups bring out a very unique group of people who just fit in together . 1) BSS - I sometimes forget how by chance they were made, by the members themselves. 2 main vocalists and a main dancer and they're hilarious. They are so canon. Sons of orange caramel Fav song- LUNCH (nothing beats it, really) 2) Orange Caramel - my favourite quirky trio. I still watch their performances. Again, perfect- main vocalist, main dancer and main rapper in one unit and they are iconic. The world yearns for a oc comeback Fav song- Catallena 3) Misamo - Beautiful songs, beautiful ladies, really good concept. I really like them even though I have never really deep dived into twice. Fav song - Do not touch submitted by /u/pinkbraboo [link] [comments]
I used to be into kpop when I was in middle school, like for example black pink, twice etc. But ever since high school I feel like I usually get jealous/envious of them. It was my dream since about 9th grade to be a performer, so like a dancer or even actress (I also like singing but I’ll admit I’m not good at it) because I love dancing. I’m 19 now and a sophomore in college, and most of these kpop idols in girl groups got to debut when they were younger than me or the same age as me so that is something that makes me feel unsuccessful too. And they get to live out my true dream job, they always look good (not just beautiful makeup but also look very fit/in shape), they get to dance and sing, get to travel the world, get to wear pretty clothes and jewelry, and they look like they have fun and have a good friendship and bond with each other and I wish I had all that. My parents were very unsupportive of my dreams when I was a teenager and I never had the support or opportunities to go to any auditions for anything. The only thing I did so far was a singing competition and a minor role in my high school play behind their back. Now I’m in college and just can’t help but feel like they (kpop idols) got to do what I was supposed to do. I can’t even watch a music video of Twice or BLACKPINK without seeing their clothes and jewelry or dance or something and getting jealous. submitted by /u/Beneficial_Tip3082 [link] [comments]

They about to debut their new boygroup in less than a month but still haven't introduce the members or atleast give a hint about them only some articles like they literally introduced TXT three months before their actual debut. So What are they trying to do here with the new group?? Are they try to do a random release out of nowhere like what ador done to NJ?? submitted by /u/Party-Confection417 [link] [comments]

I was analyzing some Spotify playlists from certain groups, where they make playlists for each member and their musical taste (if you're confused, check VIVIZ's profile on Spotify, but I'm not talking about them specifically :)) I'm sorry, but most of the time idols put out such generic and silly songs. I feel like these playlists could be a way to show more of the idol's taste to the public, and the idol puts out the most generic and mainstream songs (???) I know what I'm saying is VERY silly, but I think, do idols really have a more basic taste in music or do they just prefer to put out songs that everyone knows? NOTE: I'm not saying that it's bad to have a "basic" musical taste and listen to mainstream music (after all, I do that myself) but I like to imagine the musical taste of idols! Because I've never seen any idol who likes things like punk, for example. I don't know if they just don't show their musical taste or they just don't care about it LOL I'm sorry if this post sounded stupid. submitted by /u/suki-angel7 [link] [comments]
i actually really like her voice, it gives me "old romance" vibes i guess, sounds particular, mature and wise and its beautiful like this, but alongside with Lisa, Jennie and Rosé, i feel like she doesnt fit well in BlackPink songs somehow; i like her much more as a soloist no hate, only love for all the 4 Queens as you can see, both musically and as idols overall, i just wanted to share this opinion yeah thats it, lmk if its only me or someone ever happened to think the same submitted by /u/NicolasAntinarella [link] [comments]
So, I've been listening to kpop since about 2017-2018. Red Velvet's Bad Boy was my first song/video. I was hooked immediately. I'm old and grew up in the late '70s- '80s. Funny thing is, I'm a die hard metalhead (everything from Iron Maiden to Lorna Shore.) So to my point, never really listened to them until the album came out. Every song is perfection. Drop Top and Toxic are my two favorites. I just wanted to share my love for them and look forward to great things from them. submitted by /u/Chewphoria78 [link] [comments]
