I remember when they were first announced people said to me that they should be boycotted...any idea why? I'd like to hear your overall thoughts about this group. Not just musically as they only have two songs but conceptually as well. submitted by /u/Frequent_Ebb6360 [link] [comments]
Has any Kpop company or any group/individual who liked or collaborated with d4vk spoken out yet? There was a post from the other day for which I was downvoted (when I mentioned that they should speak up). We are talking about a person who started speaking to the deceased person when she was 11-12yrs old, and now her dead body is found in his car and they searched the house he lived in. His own reddit page is calling him out. I find it very strange when Kpop fans call out companies/groups for stupid stuff like dating rumours, what they wear or say, but when it comes to something like this, dead silence....they think the idols should not speak out & just ignore this is happening. I find the whole thing disgusting. submitted by /u/AlessandraAthena [link] [comments]
There was a post that said both MHJ and Bangshihyuk profits off of exploiting and sexualizing young idols. And people in the comments were like “Well Bangshihyuk didnt make Lesserafim’s fearless choreography himself so that’s different. You’re reaching” “He only had minors twerk in the MV and not in an actual live performance so whats the problem?” Are we being fr rn submitted by /u/Which_Mammoth9402 [link] [comments]

Majority of the viewers only voted the contestants that are same nationality as them instead of talent. For example in universe ticket a show that formed UNIS there's this Indonesian contestant (I forgot her name) that got rank so high in fan votes despite terrible performance of wonder girls cover 'tell me' and i think it went viral because it was so bad. Thank god she got eliminated in the end but it was still sucks because there's alot of contestants that got eliminated earlier who's more talented than her. It was obvious she ranked so high because of her nationality submitted by /u/Party-Confection417 [link] [comments]
I don't need to mention a specific group because of how common it's gotten. I've been watching old 2nd gen videos from SNSD's Japan tours and wow.. They're actually singing! I blame TikTok for this lameness, because it's not only infiltrated kpop but also Western pop music as well. submitted by /u/AnnualConstruction85 [link] [comments]

“keep politics out of music…” they said “the idols are restricted by their companies…” they said “it’s a conservative country…” they said “the idols can’t speak out because of their government possibly targeting them” they said. This is kevin from the boyz during their concert btw. now you can’t sit and act like idols live in this innocent bubble and don’t know the shit that’s going on in the world. they know. stop infantilizing your idols. they have voices, they just choose to not use them if it doesn't benefit them. submitted by /u/burntoutproblemchild [link] [comments]
I have 3 albums that my older sister gave me but I'm still thinking about whether to keep it in my dura box or in the cabinet because it might get damaged or there might be termites. It's my first time having a kpop albums, please give me some advice. (Correct me if I'm wrong) submitted by /u/ndnsbno_xchie09 [link] [comments]

Hellooo I am 21M and I will love to have friends in NYC with who I can go to concerts, pop up events, kpop stores and basically hangout and rant about kpop! I started listening to K-pop in 2017 thanks to NCT 127, which is how I became interested in the genre and discovered a ton of groups. I consider myself a multistan of both bg and gg, and over the years l've managed to see several of my favorite groups in concert, but honestly I can't help but feel alone in this hobby. I'm an extrovert so it has never been difficult for me to make friends, but so far I don't have any friends who share this hobby. I've tried several times at concerts to make friends and I am normally able to, but they already have their group of friends established, so after the concert they don't really keep in touch. That's why I decided to write this post here, hopefully I can finally make some kpop friends here in NYC!! submitted by /u/Chemical_Ad1564 [link] [comments]
