Many people still respond to ragebaiters, it only encourages their behavior. Please stop replying to them, as they thrive on the attention. It's abominable to see people comment "Next X" in response to these ragebaiters, especially considering the impact it has on idols/actors/actresses who have passed away. submitted by /u/freezerkeeper [link] [comments]
When a dating rumor comes out and the idol denies it, do they actually tell the truth? Or is it just a lie to protect the image? I’m new to kpop and I Stan aespa, so recently I watched the jungwon and winter rumor. I saw that jungwon denied it. I’m not talking specifically about them, but in general. Wouldn’t an idol lie just to protect his image? Is just pr? Or they actually don’t date and they tell the truth??? We could never know how they actually are, we just see what they show to us. I also learned about the seungri scandal. submitted by /u/Alternative_Mud_1145 [link] [comments]
As a stay and Midzy, who also does love Twice and nmixx, I really enjoyed watching Kickflip's series of interacting with their seniors. Their personalities were so funny and they looked so good. Plus, I really did like Umm Great. Mama Said, not too much, but I told myself I'd Stan them anyways because I liked them. Freeze came and I found myself reluctant to listen, and also to listen to the rest of the album. I think I realised I just did not like their music, even their B-sides didn't stand out to me. So I slowly lost interest in them musically, and haven't watched any variety shows on them, but I saw the Bandaid teaser and then the MV this morning. Man, is this a great song. My soty?? Probably not. BUT I love it a lot, and I'm excited for this comeback. It's got deep, emotional lyrics, while the melody is still relatively light-hearted. It reminds me a lot of Skz B-sides. And the high notes???? I can't wait to see the direction they're going in because I'm hopeful I'll like it. Side note, they're so fricking talented. They post a LOT of dance covers and song covers on their socials and they're insanely good, idk why nobody ever talks about it. submitted by /u/Far-Squirrel5021 [link] [comments]

i want to preface this by saying i am 100% biased. but also reasonable. haechan of nct is going solo next week and everyone needs to tune in. he has vocal chops for days, a gorgeous vocal colour, and most importantly - a deep and beautiful passion for music. some of his biggest idols - michael jackson, bruno mars, taemin. and you can tell he has ambitions like them. i have never seen an idol so dedicated to their craft or who loves music as much. watch ANY video of him performing with either of his units and he Will be dancing his ass off bc on top of his vocal ability, he's also trained in multiple forms of dance (including ballet). on TOP of that, he's just really fucking funny. like i'm talking wit and charm oozing out of every pore. in almost any group content he'll take over the role of mc bc it's that natural for him. some of the frankly incredible stuff he's already accomplishmed by 25: walking into sm's notoriously tough saturday open auditions at 12 (inspired by a love of shinee and taemin) bc he had 'nothing to lose' and passing instantly ofc, impressing lee sooman himself (who gave him the stage name haechan aka fullsun) + has working in 2 active groups since the age of 16 ! if you've never heard of him i wouldn't even be surprised bc although he's in a group under a big3 company, sm have never bothered to give this powerhouse idol any kind of exposure. so if any of this sounds interesting to you or you just want some good quality r&b (the likes of exo/rv) - pls check out taste out 09/08 <3 tldr; this is me telling you guys that haechan is an artist to look out for. he's exactly what the industry has been been missing submitted by /u/Tiny_Stock8220 [link] [comments]
Idk about you but I plan on listening to kpop until I die or become deaf. I am curious if fans actually think this is just a phase in their life that they will eventually move on from. I think looking at listening to kpop as a phase is kind of weird and also just wrong. Kpop is music. How is enjoying a type of music guarenteed to be a phase? I understand thinking you will eventually outgrow the age where you stan groups and fangirl over idols but outgrowing just listening to the music? Idk, seems weird to me but I am open to being taught and hearing other perspectives. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]
What might a GG enjoyer like? Should I start with playlists? Music shows? Music videos? Albums? I like cute/colourful concepts rather than gritty/dark vibes. The only groups I have properly checked out and like are: NCT Wish, ZEROBASEONE, BoyNextDoor and TXT. submitted by /u/NewJeansBunnie [link] [comments]
Stray Kids made their comeback a week ago and i've had some few thoughts on it. First and foremost, their INTRO video really explains alot of details that went into the making of this record and that's the main point of this post — they made this record in the midst of the world tour. They mentioned how they had songs recorded and produced in their hotel rooms and mastered in the studios. Both BLEEP and the soon to be released Creed MVs were filmed in countries that they had a tour stop at. All these preparations while also ensuring they prepare for every tour stop performance. It made me respect Stray Kids even more. Clearly they are passionate with what they do. The schedules must've been so tight but they pulled it through bec they wanted to release this record. Ceremony truly felt even more like a celebration of the progress they have made in their career. While a part of me also wishes they go on a break soon because it's much deserved, a part of me also can't help but respect the level of dedication and grind they have for what they do. This fact alone made me love KARMA album as a whole even more. submitted by /u/Lofijunkieee [link] [comments]
I'm already fan! I think Haechan was really inspired by Baekhyun's music. I love it! I think "Haechan's Taste" is going to try to take over from my favorite, J The 1st Album (Jaehyun). submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]

When i was a baby Kpop fan, I thought you had to pay for sites similar to Netflix or sum to watch survival shows & even all those variety or special shows & performance stages! Eventually I discovered that's not true lol but I still couldnt find where I could watch a survival show until runext ended, so I never watched it, but it Lead me to later tune in on I land 2! I only got too see the last 2 episodes, but I did vote quite alot of Times & watched many clips B4 those 2! It was Rough, I found that Im rlly NOT someone capable of watching those shows haha, but those final tensions left me very emotional, my bias debuted 1st place, Jungeun, & some of my fav contestants unfortunatly lost, but Lead me to grow even closer of Izna members I would consider their "other half" in group dinamic terms" like Saebi, bc of Gyuri, & Jiyoon BC of Fuko. I didn't expect Jiyoon to win as her dance was noticeably weaker, not rlly for me, but for the netz, which gave me a pleasant surprise to see her debut When NA album came out, I was rlly happy with all the girls improvment, but especially seeing Mai Shine even more & Jiyoon being way better rounded & her vocals not disapointing as well! Although she was never my fav, I felt drawn to her calm & deserved beauty & aura, her sweet personality, she balanced the group extremly well! Then hiatus came. Ill be honest, I wasnt scared at all, I was just sad she was sick, I wished her a quick & steady recovery. Sign came out & its my fav Izna song. I wondered what lines Jiyoon would get but didn't thought much about it. Then Beep came out. I was super happy, Izna had gone with the concept I imagined for both Sign & Beep, a concept I rlly wanted to see, but ofc I wanted to see Jiyoon there, & Beep era was when I started to get a bit sad. Its not only me or US as fans, but I didn't felt Izna as happy as B4, imagine going through all that together, you create a diff bond that I cant even imagine. I have a ticket for Music bank 25 & I was SOOO excited to see Izna there! I wont like, I still am, but I cant just out on words how sad I am that I wont get to see Jiyoon sweet smile or hear her stunning vocals live, that I wont get to see that group I once met in their most vulnerable moment, or so I thought, now moving on as a New 'Izna' Ill never hate on them & I just admit I Feel closer & love Izna even more, Im sure that it affected them Soo Ill support them alot & ofc I wish Jiyoon all the good in the world & that she achieves her future plans :( submitted by /u/d33pblushxy [link] [comments]

I was watching Cortis documentary and I am very impressed with them. I already had high expectations and they have not really let me down once I understood that their sound is going to be very teenage boy coded and it is! In a good way. So I suppose I made this thread to say, I hope this documentary has shut down people who for some reason thought them being self produced was a marketing tactic? The boys are really passionate about music and I'm glad they are being given the resources to explore it. These kids are very talented and I'm excited to see what they do next. Also shout out to James for making the killing parts in both magnetic and Deja Vu. Absolutely love those choreos. submitted by /u/AggravatingListen188 [link] [comments]

imo, few kpop groups have colors in their music these days, most kpop songs lack harmonies(parts and octaves), runs, vibrato, etc. ZB1 is def not that group, their songs always hit the spot for an acapella lover like myself, ICONIK sounds so good(Taerae and ZH ate down). I haven’t listened to the rest of the album but I’m def excited to check it out! submitted by /u/Mobile-Structure5702 [link] [comments]
i see many engenes share their concert experiences, and aside from the actual concert (which is mostly fun), some of their experiences meeting other engenes were pretty bad. while most of them are nice and friendly, some are very rude, including how some of them are racist, how the gf stans act once they find out they bias the same member, or how some cut in line while queueing and the list goes on... submitted by /u/withinyourheart [link] [comments]
