I was listening to "Call My Name" by The Weekend and suddenly I associated it with this song. I just remembered the lyrics of the song and how heartbreaking it is. There are few idols who convey to me what they sing, Woodz is undoubtedly one of them. submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]

Hello everyone! I’m putting together a K-Pop Bingo game and my current cards each have 26 tracks pulled from lists that are a few years old. I’d love to trim those down and update the lineup—what must-play crowd pleasers should stay, and which newer hits or all-time classics should I swap in? I wanted to reply to the op of snarkers are great thing for kpop but since they deleted their post i want to say something here and hope op reads it. That’s a really dangerous take. Saying “snarkers helps because it gives views” ignores the real damage it causes. Views gained through harassment aren’t the same as genuine engagement, they don’t build loyalty, they don’t foster respect, and they definitely don’t create a healthy environment for artists or fandoms. And the “hate motivates them” angle is worse. Kpop has a devastating history of idols being driven into depression and even ending their lives because of relentless online bullying. Outside of Kpop, too, we’ve seen countless cases where hate didn’t “fuel” someone, it broke them. Normalizing that mindset is basically saying an artist’s mental health is collateral damage for entertainment. Snark subreddits aren’t edgy fan clubs. They create echo chambers where cruelty is rewarded, and that toxicity spills over into broader spaces. It’s not witty critique; it’s collective bullying dressed up as “engagement.” submitted by /u/gucci_vcut [link] [comments]

Do we have similar taste in music or no? And do you have any recommendations for me based on my music taste? You can also try and take a guess what the "1/2" songs are that I like from a few groups hehe submitted by /u/hyun_chuu [link] [comments]

As a MOA/Stay, I don’t understand why people get so mad at these snark subs. Why do you even care so much? Stray Kids get a ton of hate online, but it’s actually keeping them relevant. TXT got involved in a “scandal” because Soobin showed his middle toe, and it helped them gain fans (crazy, but great for TXT). Before you think I’m crazy, hear me out: BP snarkers go on YouTube to watch interviews, music videos, and other content just so they can find things to make fun of (like the “APT” MV). BTS snarkers do the same thing (like with the “Dynamite” MV). While they’re snarking, they’re also increasing the views and keeping those groups relevant. Also, BTS snark is one of the top-ranked subreddits in the K-pop community and might even become #1 soon! I think that’s actually a good thing because the less than 20,000 people in those snark groups sometimes keep BTS’s popularity higher than the real fandom does. It even motivates celebrities sometimes. While I don’t know everything about BTS, I can tell that after watching their content, the hate has made them more confident in themselves. And here’s another thing: because of these snarkers, fandoms tend to unite and get stronger. Honestly, I think every fandom should have its own snark sub. Reddit is a cesspool of hate anyway, no matter what sub it is. Let those people stay in their own echo chambers while still helping our groups stay relevant! submitted by /u/Opening-Squirrel-486 [link] [comments]
Basically just the title. For context, when Hoshi and Woozi guested on Sana’s Fridge Interview, they mentioned doing a full TwiceTeen dance challenge to celebrate their 10th anniversaries, as both groups debuted in 2015. It’s an awesome idea and makes so much sense - the groups have shared history and a decent amount of overlap in fans on the international side - but it would be super hard to carry out. Points for: They talked about it and seemed enthusiastic Seems like there are a few friendships between the two groups The awkwardness of Seungkwan-Momo-gate seems to have been healed a long time ago Both fandoms enjoy the TwiceTeen lore and are super hyped for it Points against: Logistics: two busy touring groups, solo schedules (or military stuff) of 22 people to balance, Seventeen are in their military era They would need a big ass room Possible noise complaints because individually these groups are loud as fuck View Poll submitted by /u/spooky_biscuit [link] [comments]

Hey guys I have some more time to work on my daily game site: kpople.net, I wanted to know what suggestions you have for some K-pop mystery or puzzle games that I should add to my site. I currently have kpople: guessing a mystery idol and kdance: guessing the song based off the choreography silhouette. I'm excited to hear your suggestions! submitted by /u/Minute_Expression973 [link] [comments]

Let’s make a girl group from rookie idols! Hopefully this template game isn’t getting too old yet lol- Some rules: •Female idols only. •Only idols that debuted -for the first time- less than a year ago are allowed. (So for example, no Mashiro for Madein, because she was already in Kep1er.) •2 members from one group allowed max. •I’ll be going off the most upvoted comment. Try to only comment an idol once :) •Include the idol’s name and their group in your comment. •We’ll wait 24 hours between sections before moving on to the next! Day 1! Who’s our vocalist? submitted by /u/Yvmeno [link] [comments]
