Sunmi has some really good songs, but I love this one so much. I loved it when it came out, and I still love it so much. Am I the only one who loves this song so much? The song, the aesthetic, the video, the clothes 💖 submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]
(this is Bae and Sullyoon from NMIXX) To regularly get live performances this strong from two members who aren't even considered main vocals is bonkers tbh. Sullyoon's improvement since debut is very noticeable too, like she was always good but she's now at a level where she can genuinely handle main vocal-type parts live, and not just handle them but easily pass as a main vocal while doing so. NMIXX have a full album that's supposed to be coming in October, and I really hope to see all the members uniqueness and talents showcased well with the extra room a full album will give! Maybe solo songs, or unit songs too and hopefully members involved in composing and/or lyrics (I think this will happen soon, especially since Haewon was just recently announced as featuring + having composing and lyric credits on an upcoming song by pH-1) submitted by /u/Fe3O4Forward [link] [comments]

I searched the most Korean surnames. Let’s vote for our favorite idol with the surname of Yoon, Yun, Kang, or Jang. (I put these together because there are few idols who have those surnames.) Rules: 🚨🚨🚨 Nominate a female or male idol with the surname of Yoon, Yun, Kang, or Jang. Idols with the most upvotes win. submitted by /u/OptionSpare718 [link] [comments]
As the title says mention the most and least biased member in your favourite group. Sometimes the members popular with the GP and casuals aren't the most biased/popular within the fandom so it will be interesting to see. Let's go! submitted by /u/DiMpLe_dolL003 [link] [comments]

As a highschool student back then (now a college junior), I always enjoying making poems, poetry, storytelling, and even experimenting different words that would match the vibe of what I am writing; this is the thing I wasn't feeling that K-pop idols have. At least Westerners are known to be passionate in making music that's why the Lyrics or words are highly connected and hit you within yourself, that is why it felt more nostalgic. In K-pop, they just think adding English words would make it cooler lol. The emotions or proper execution in the music isn't there for me; they JUST care what needs to be trending than what effort needs to be exerted that would call it as music. I also want to bring out the standards for vocals lol. Like that's the least prioritized category in my opinion, sing it nasally, but they're expected to belt very high bruh. Also the fans... Arguing one another that the idol has better singing abilities than the other one just by using "oh because that idol has E+, D- B-" or whatever bullcrap it is; cuz gurl, I paid to be taught by a voice teacher and even draw an anatomy of my body so I can at least understand how my body should actually work if I sing because I want to sound good in singing to karaoke but ended being corrected by someone in the comments saying that idol is D+ tier or what, but if I ask them in technical terms like the soft palate, the vowels, which muscles they're engaging, they can't answer these basic singing knowlegde lol and continue to answer me with this letter tier yet they claim themselves as they undergo vocal training or vocal professionals. submitted by /u/Alarmed_Pepper9665 [link] [comments]
I am new to kpop and really do not know much about the title/role system (main dancer, leader, visual, etc.). However, when thinking about Katseye in specific I always wonder if Yoonchae would hold a different title if she was not the maknae? You know what I mean lol? Also in XG some of those girls have like 3 titles which is fascinating. I am not even sure if this is a valid question (like I said, complete newbie to the kpop world, especially when it comes to kpop slang) but I was curious if anyone else shared this question about any other idols/groups. What idols are the maknae of the group but outperform other members in certain areas? Also, to what degree do these types of titles even effect groups? submitted by /u/mad1s0ngrac3 [link] [comments]

This was my first ever big concert and my dream one. Stray kids has been my ult group for such a long time and my comfort one as well. When I heard that my parents agreed on going I was so excited! I can remember walking to the arena, people sitting next to me, and interactions with people after it, but I can't remember the concert WHATSOEVER. I had so much fun - I was dancing, screaming, singing really loud. I had a wonderful time. The second I woke up the next morning, POOF, the memories were just gone. It feels like I didn't even attend the concert, which makes me SUPER SUPER sad because it was my dream to see them live. I also recorded some parts of the songs, around 10-30 seconds each (I didn't look at my phone while recording unless I wanted to zoom in because I wanted to live in the moment). A lot of people said to minimize recording if we don't want to forget the whole thing, which I DID DO, BUT STILL FORGOT EVEN BEING THERE. Did this happen to anyone else or is it just me? Am I maybe too overwhelmed, my dad keeps saying that I'm lying and that it is impossible not to remember anything. I feel like the memories are there just not processed enough. I keep watching videos to make myself believe I was there LOL. Will I ever be able to remember this special night? :( submitted by /u/bluuuuuberiiiiii [link] [comments]
