Im curious to what yall think the biggest flaws of the Big 3 companies are. Like for example, SM entertainment and how they tend to treat their foreign idols (sorry if this doesn’t make sense 😭) submitted by /u/Plastic_Fishing_1686 [link] [comments]
KPOP peaked at 2nd gen imo. Idols had the freedom (most of the time) to say whatever they want, were less conscious on how they act in front of the camera, and won't get unnecessary criticisms after. Male and female groups frequently did collabs, be it on stage or in variety shows. IDOLS APPEARING IN VARIETY SHOWS! Organic friendships from different groups were formed through constant show appearances. Stage performances felt more raw. There's this inexplicable connection an audience would feel whenever the groups perform. 2nd gen truly had its own charisma. Guess this is just me reminiscing after watching recent contents from 2nd gen idols. submitted by /u/pauserewindplay [link] [comments]

I'll need the song title and the artists name because it doesn't have to be a girl group it can also be a female soloist. For the sake of actually trying to help you find something new I'll steer clear from same company artists. submitted by /u/I_OnlyWantedToBloom [link] [comments]

Sunmi has some really good songs, but I love this one so much. I loved it when it came out, and I still love it so much. Am I the only one who loves this song so much? The song, the aesthetic, the video, the clothes 💖 submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]
(this is Bae and Sullyoon from NMIXX) To regularly get live performances this strong from two members who aren't even considered main vocals is bonkers tbh. Sullyoon's improvement since debut is very noticeable too, like she was always good but she's now at a level where she can genuinely handle main vocal-type parts live, and not just handle them but easily pass as a main vocal while doing so. NMIXX have a full album that's supposed to be coming in October, and I really hope to see all the members uniqueness and talents showcased well with the extra room a full album will give! Maybe solo songs, or unit songs too and hopefully members involved in composing and/or lyrics (I think this will happen soon, especially since Haewon was just recently announced as featuring + having composing and lyric credits on an upcoming song by pH-1) submitted by /u/Fe3O4Forward [link] [comments]

I searched the most Korean surnames. Let’s vote for our favorite idol with the surname of Yoon, Yun, Kang, or Jang. (I put these together because there are few idols who have those surnames.) Rules: 🚨🚨🚨 Nominate a female or male idol with the surname of Yoon, Yun, Kang, or Jang. Idols with the most upvotes win. submitted by /u/OptionSpare718 [link] [comments]
As the title says mention the most and least biased member in your favourite group. Sometimes the members popular with the GP and casuals aren't the most biased/popular within the fandom so it will be interesting to see. Let's go! submitted by /u/DiMpLe_dolL003 [link] [comments]
