The street woman fighter sub Reddit wont let me post about it so I am here. I don't know if there will be people here to listen but I just need an outlet to let it all out, because I'm so fucking tired. Maybe it's because I only see the international side and don't see the Korean side of the audiences, my feed is full of hate comments towards Bumsup. Bumsup have been getting hate even before the show aired. All this assumptions about them winning the show because mnet won't let foreigners win. The assumption that these Non-Korean dancers were far ahead of them in every aspect to exist. The assumption that Bumsup are getting sympathy edits as if they weren't put under stress for the show at all. It is only bad judgement when it rules in favour for Bumsup but it isn't a bad judgement when Hyojin loses against harmz (who was obviously the weaker one there). They get undermined every single episode no matter how good or bad they do. I won't complain about the worst dancer fiasco because I do not agree with the Rie Hata hate either but I do believe honey J was just unlucky on this one. Honey J had a better choreo in my opinion but I'm not mad about that, I'm mad about the fact that even after showing her high points she was constantly disrespected by these audience for not giving it all in few instances. People have more sympathy for the group that recycled their old choreos for every piece of dance performance they showed wether it be a battle or mission. Even when Bumsup do great, they're undermined. They had the best mega crew mission (argue with a wall not me), yet everyone is still like oh they had big budget, oh they just copied 1 million (1 million's concept is so effing different from Bumsup), oh mnet is going to make them win, oh Koreans are going to push the video, even after performing the effing best. It just feels like racism/xenophobic at this point. Another one that I remember is when some of the Bumsup members were talking about how the other dancers have big hips, and everyone lost their minds over it. They're talking about how their moves might not look as impactful. As someone who dances, your body does affect how your overall performance looks. It's not like a good/bad thing. It could look good in some instance and bad in other: tall people or people with long limbs could look awkward sometimes when put next to someone shorter or with shorter limbs. In the same way a small person might not look as powerful when putting the same amount of energy as a big person while dancing. I'm even ready to admit that maybe that statement was still distasteful because why should they talk about someone else's body, but when there were comments made about Bumsup's physical appearance I didn't hear a squeak. Aiki was called Chucky's daughter unprompted. If we're going to criticize Bumsup for making comments about someone's appearance, the same should be done when someone else does it, but I really didn't see that from these international fans. By the end of the show, even if Bumsup improves and performs better and comes in top 3 instead of winning, people are still going to undermine them. I just feel so much rage and anger for them. One last thing that I really don't understand is, if you think it is rigged, why watch it in the first place? Why talk about the show? Why give mnet the clout? I have nothing but appreciation for all the dancers that came on this show. I'm just really really tired of the Bumsup hate train that nobody wants to talk about. submitted by /u/West_Yesterday1053 [link] [comments]
It hasn't even been a week since Taehyung got out of the military that people have started to ship. Taehyung post a post on his story with the song Jeje and people started to think he was confirming the fact that he is with Jennie; also the fact that Jennie posted a picture of a teddy bear and they started to think it was about V, the cake that Taehyung got right after military " I'm happy to be with you" people speculated it was from Jennie, when it could have been a friend or family. On Taehyung insta post he got a blue teddy keychain, similar to the one Jennie posted in 2021, and people said they were confirming their relationship. Taehyung posting a picture of him goofing and people are saying the outfit is similar to one he had on the photo of him and Jennie. I have seen comment being like " ohh they need to get married" " they should confirm it to everyone" "They are making it so obvious that they are together" " Why would they have and like similar things if they're not together" and many more. I'm not saying they are not dating, They probably are, or they probably broke up already. My issue is that none of them can post something without people saying it's about each other. People will always speculated that they are trying to make their relationship obvious. Taennie shippers are pushing it to hard, it is 2025, move on, stop trying to connect the dots that don't need to be connected š, like there is about 10k vidĆ©o about Jennie and V already right after he came back, like guys please. My friends have all flirted and teased their biases but it's so weird when you only have 1 minute to talk š and you've never met her/him before. I think the easiest thing for me is to just show appreciation.. idols love it when their talents are acknowledged. submitted by /u/No-Vehicle1562 [link] [comments]

I added leisure and fun tag because I don't want this to turn into a warzone. What's an idol(s) that you don't like for the most silliest reason? I'll start with one: Eun-woo. I dated a guy in college that looked exactly like him and he broke my heart. This could be the main reason why I never got into ASTRO. Okay.. So I am an English teacher at a Korean-owned language school . well we will have like an activity about Korea i think (?) where we need to dance. So my plan was to dance to Kpop songs, but like the songs should be from 1st to 5th gen. like a time travel concept. Just 1~2 iconic songs per generation and it would be helpful of they are easy to be learned by my workmates because some of them are not into Kpop and some are a little not so from the generation now. Please help meeee. šš» thanks in advance. submitted by /u/gpptls____790701 [link] [comments]

I don't know if I forgive kiss of life because yeah they didn't apology but the first apology it wasn't really like genuine I don't feel like feel like they do that to boost their falling to get like a bad like try to cover up their mistake. Especially the company's apology because the company Like the apology was so Bland There was no Like the the apologize yeah like I want it from the group not from the company that I want the company being the one to apologize even if the company apologizing apology was Bland it was it was not good and it like Target the specific Groups that were offended by the Situation. And I think Julie went on live and she like Apologize like the groups I don't want yes it was Julie that organized that understand that it was her birthday this that is that she just accountability but I want everybody there to take accountability. All of the members of Kiss of Life because it's not just Julie that said oh guys like I would understand if I would accept apology from Julie if like it was only Julie that did it other than members dressed in normal fashion like it could be anything else but Julie's the only one that did the hip-hop thing like I understand that. But all of them must have agreed to do that Birthday party theme So We need all of them like a group to like say oh we're sorry we're truly sorry I feel like Julie is the only one that said that because she's I think she's the leader or something and they're having a new comeback I don't know guys it's just like a little iffy feeling. submitted by /u/Select-Bathroom7641 [link] [comments]
I saw a tweet talking about how armys can be toxic and then I look further to the replies and quotes and this is what I see⦠I donāt understand where all this hate for multis comes from. People on Twitter literally act as if the world multi is a slur. Being a multi literally makes you subhuman in their eyes. Itās not even like this is a small part of the fandom either because itās generally recognised amongst the fandom that multis are the āworstā. They will get thousands of replies agreeing with them and calling multis all kinds of names/slurs. The ironic thing is that theyāre saying all these things in response to someone saying armys are toxic. Way to prove things. I am an army but I do believe that a large part (not all) of the fandom is very toxic. Now I know that people hate when others say āI am an army butā¦/this is coming from an armyā¦ā but what can I do this is the truth. Now this does not mean other fandoms are not toxic. They very much are. Fans will often use this to defend the toxicity of their own fandom. But that makes absolutely no sense. Pointing out the toxicity of army doesnāt negate the toxicity of others. People need to stop assuming it does. Anyways this is a rant because I just came across this and it genuinely pisses me off. Thereās nothing I can even do about this because these people will continue being extremely toxic and validate each othersā behaviour. Itās genuinely cult-like. How did it even get to the point where thousands of people actually think like this? I hope something can be done to improve fandoms/ online spaces because itās genuinely horrible to be in. Obviously the best solution is to stay off of Twitter which I try to do but itās hard because it gives the best updates. And trust me I try to block people as much as I can. I think I have half the fandom blocked at this point. The only thing that would help is if bts themselves call out some of these fansā behaviour. But knowing these people Iām sure theyād still find a way to delude themselves otherwise. I mean Iāve literally seen people say āinsert bts member is nice but Iām notā before. If thereās anyone thatās been in k-pop/army spaces for long time I would love to hear about what your experience was like in the earlier days. Was it just as toxic before? Did people spout the same kind of rhetoric? If youāve made it this far thank you for listening to my ramblingš«¶š¼ submitted by /u/Odd_Doughnut_4284 [link] [comments]
