631. Jeongyeon (Twice) sounds so much like Seulgi (Red Velvet)

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I swear every time I listen to a Jeongyeon line in a Twice song, if I imagine it's Seulgi singing, it literally is her, like I can practically see her performing it 😭 it doesn't always work the other way round though. Possibly Seulgi has showcased more versatility? submitted by /u/New_Syllabub2838 [link] [comments]

633. Haknyeon situation with new stuff that came out

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

So… the photos of Haknyeon and Asuka Kirara came out. When he released his statement saying they were just hanging out at a party, I really wanted to believe him. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. But after seeing the pictures, it’s hard for me to accept that explanation. The way they are hugging and all don’t exactly look like just friends casually hanging out. What also makes it harder for me personally is that Asuka is publicly in a relationship with someone who is mentally disabled . That hits me to the core because I have a very close family member who is also like that, and the idea of someone that vulnerable being taken advantage of in that way just breaks my heart. I just keep thinking about if my family member was treated like that, and it geniunly hurts. And whether or not the rumors about pr*stitution are true,I honestly don’t even care at this point, just the disrespect and apparent disregard shown in those pictures is enough for me. It was public knowledge, no way he didn't knew. You geniunly need to be bad to participate in cheating on such a vulnerable person. Like seriously So yeah, I’m done supporting him. I’m really sad about it, but I can’t look past this. submitted by /u/Yukimmii [link] [comments]

634. Why do Babymonster members go to different schools?

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Idrk anything abt the Korean education system and how elementary, middle school and high school work (I live in Sydney so I only have primary and highschool) but right now all the Baemon members probably have the same schedule and live in YG dorms together but Ahyeon and Rami go to Hanlim arts and Rora goes to SOPA. Also would they be in the same grade because in Sydney people born in July 2007 - June 2008 would be in 1 grade while July 2006 - July 2007 would be in the grade above. Also would that mean that Ahyeon and maybe Rami would be graduating this year (for us the school year is early February to early December) Back to them going to different schools, I don't understand why YG would do that and i'm just curious. https://preview.redd.it/8rbu70ew098f1.png?width=200&format=png&auto=webp&s=d154d43dcfffdd699fb3c8ea8f3eac1be793f556 https://preview.redd.it/upf9myt2198f1.png?width=168&format=png&auto=webp&s=3356e29be9b3f925a6d5eaf8887cbd64405b366a https://preview.redd.it/7sigszv4198f1.png?width=196&format=png&auto=webp&s=d94e8aa3155b668f4197a6243f41d3e1007d1871 https://preview.redd.it/um5o86l6198f1.png?width=226&format=png&auto=webp&s=f462ea8cdb0ef775ec9c9032e6dcc81cfe7fb788 https://preview.redd.it/xr6dl348198f1.png?width=183&format=png&auto=webp&s=84d57313915e9ce54ba37d25779f2e7f233b2619 https://preview.redd.it/z5a6ogab198f1.png?width=201&format=png&auto=webp&s=ac1cc363468ff247f59d10eeda4e528f83a3ad00 https://preview.redd.it/k00nse8g198f1.png?width=201&format=png&auto=webp&s=c1aa841f6346a412ad424cefd8d3537caee38bfc submitted by /u/AvocadoFun3905 [link] [comments]

638. Do idols live with their families after debut?

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Ik it sounds weird but i've heard of some idols living with their family while training but do they move into dorms after debut? Idk if these are true but i've heard that Krystal, IU, Suzy, Taemin and Yeri lived with their parents while training. I'm mainly asking this because I became curious after watching Babymonsters Last evaluation again. Rora used to live with her parents and used to commute around 2 hours one way to YG everyday after school but idk how she has enough time for that since she goes to SOPA now and releases new music pretty often. submitted by /u/AvocadoFun3905 [link] [comments]

643. Kpop is still good you just have to find what you want

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Regardless of all the talk about 'which generation is better' or 'that kpop is no longer what is used to be', 'all groups talk about how famous or rich they are', blah blah; Kpop is still very much good. You just need to perhaps listen outside the few idols and groups that make it to your recommendation page. I've known of kang daniel since the paranoia era. That man always delivers. I'm not a hard stan but you need to appreciate when artists do art. He never really followed trends and maybe that's why general kpop stans don't pay much attention to artists like him, he is not "less famous" either. He released "episode" recently https://youtu.be/eMCLXX4KrT0?si=Dq7tYqrkwr-DXRdj. What a banger song. It's not earwormy or tiktok music. Just a solid fun song. His live stages are so fun to watch too. The music video is beautiful and intriguing. You can say he is 3rd gen and that's why but that's not my point. ZB1 released "blue" which still is a good release even if it's a more commercial song, "doctor doctor" is a very unique sound in kpop today (very 2014 bts if you will). Bbgirls (whom I will call fifth gen lmao) released "love2". It's just such a feel good song, the choreography is very charming too. Their debut album b side lemonade, which i just watched btw, is a easy listen, very mature classy sound which is less seen in kpop today. Groups like unis, still use strong melodies and good amount of Korean ( you know since it's kpop) and make good catchy songs. Xlov is doing something new in kpop, breaking molds in 2025 isn't easy but here they are. I've seen a lot of people posting about kpop is no longer fun or good it's about flexing , brands, im better than you etc, yea i mean that was bound to happen but outside that bubble kpop is still good and thriving. submitted by /u/seokjinseyebrows [link] [comments]
