So we were given a word, ans had to write a narration on it, I wrote mine, first one got rejected "it's to small" okay lets add more to it, nope, still got rejected, then the class ended for the day, so I forgot about it but then remember it the night before the next class, I couldn't think of anything, so I was listening to music and it happened to play a kpop demon hunter song, so I was lke okay, lets name a character rumi, and I decided to name the next character the next song's artist, it was jungkook, so i made them a couple just changed jungkook's name to jake so prof can pronounce it, and then next song was red light so I was like nice let's make bangchan the affair patner of jungkook, so jungkook cheats on Rumi. (For obvious reasons I didn't mention Jungkook's and Bang Chan's name in the final work) I was so sure he (professor) would reject it but he liked it and finally approved it šššš. submitted by /u/Dash_tea_L [link] [comments]
There's a video on TikTok where a Stay filmed herself listening to a UK radio station while the host was reading who got on the UK charts. She was bummed out that, while getting a good place on the UK album chart and the singles chart, they didn't play Skz's new TT. Now this is just an example but does your country play Kpop songs? Excluding KDH and the ones featuring Western artists. submitted by /u/Still_waiting221 [link] [comments]

Iām gonna get jumped so this is my opinionš„ Something that i have notice kpop idols nowadays compared to previous gen idols. They are lowkey follow the fans fantasies, and they know itās popular among fans and iām slowly getting annoyed with it⦠They are distancing themselves too much with opposite gender and acting like each other are unpleasant creatures. For example whenever they have interview at music shows, they didnāt look at Mc (those who are opposite gender) or take pics all of them, their face shows ādisgustā with each other. But when it comes to same gender, they suddenly become giddy and overly affectionate to the point fans said oh heās gay/lesbian/bi! but crashing out their faves date different gender lol cough yall know who cough And donāt come to me āhave u seen their fans? I would do it too if my fans acting rabidā. Fans are rabid no matter what u do but its better not feeding the fans fantasies, and one of them is the point that i explained abovez Like it is okay guys, be normal. If everyone act normal the interactions among different sex is normal too. submitted by /u/Abitcommentfromme [link] [comments]

An English translation, if needed: https://lyricsfa.com/yves-soap-lyrics-english-translation/ Iām curious, what are other peopleās perceptions of Soap by Yves lyrically? What do you think the song means? And/or, what are the intentions of the song do you think? Honestly at first they sounded like complete nonsense, but actually reading through them properly now, I have some ideas about the meaning maybe lol; I want to see if other people see the same maybe. submitted by /u/Yvmeno [link] [comments]

Why is everyone making a fuss about GAP's 2025 jeans campaign? I've been reading it was a clapback aimed towards American Eagle's latest jean campaign, which lowkey implied that white blonde people have good genes, it had a eugenics nuance. Even so, marketing campaigns with such a global group I assume would take months of preparation, GAP couldn't have possibly pulled this off immediately after Sydney's campaign, if the clapback was intentional. I think people are linking the two just to keep American Eagle relevant in 2025. Because l've never heard of Sydney! And American Eagle is not on everyone's radar when it comes to jeans! If anything, I think AE was following the same route LEVI'S took with Beyonce and her jeans collection. Sydney's ad is very close to Beyonce's: silent, "effortless", implying something something. In the end AE approached this new campaign in the worst way possible, and with the worst possible message. What's your take on it? submitted by /u/Individual_Tip_696 [link] [comments]

what debut groups' teasers made you go āyep, Iām stanning immediatelyā? Like, the kind of teasers/concept pics where you didn't even need to wait for the song to be sold.... And on the flip side, were there any debuts where the teasers or concept photos had you thinking āmeh, not really my vibeā but then the actual debut surprised you and completely changed your mind? I was super intrigued by the member teasers and all the cryptic hints BigHit was dropping before TXT debut and I already knew that I'd like the group. I think Bighit did a great job of driving up the anticipation for the group. When CROWN finally dropped, it completely solidified my interest. On the flip side, I honestly wasnāt expecting to like ITZY's Dalla Dalla that much based on the teasers/concept, but it totally caught me off guard and ended up becoming my anthem of the year lol. submitted by /u/KpopDivas [link] [comments]
