Why are songwriters so obsessed with food-based songs where idols compare themselves to a type of food? I never know if I’m supposed to take the song in a fun, innocent light or as a tongue-in-cheek sexual metaphor. It’s difficult to compare people to food and use words like taste, eat, and swallow without it sounding weird. I am probably being a little over the top on this because I am learning Korean and trying to pronounce things properly, but every single reaction channel pronounces maknae as mach-nay instead of the correct mang-nay. I know this is because the Romanization includes a K and English speakers will just pronounce that as mach. And nobody ever calls them on it, I guess, because it makes you sound elite or something.
