I am a huge Taehyung biased person, and personally have the same music taste like him.. I enjoy slow jazz jam songs. I was listening to his album LAYOVER recently, and thought about what kind of music of his do people like? So go ahead and share your fav tracks from Kim Taehyung submitted by /u/princess_bella- [link] [comments]

Rules: 1. each one has to be a different gen, precisely the one that’s above it or it restarts. Ex… if you pick 3rd gen the first day then the second day has to be 4th gen and after that it can be whatever other gen besides another 4th the day after, if it’s 5th gen the first day then it resets to 3rd gen!! It’s long but it’s simple. Also there can be the same group multiple times just not above 3 times… Lastly the group member MUST be 3rd gen or above or else I will not even look at it, the idol with the most comments I’ll pick. if its a tie I’ll put both but if its a 3 way or more tie then I’ll decide!! 3 simple rules is all… this is my first time doing one of these so I hope it doesn’t get taken down!! Also don’t mind the fonts, I did it in CapCut, today we MUST HAVE 5th gen, I will see who doesn’t care to read descriptions guys…. no matter how many times you say a 3rd or 4th gen I’ll just skip it… follow the rules…. also it’s NOT only girl groups! I wanted to see some boys too! please vote for boys later on going. we haven’t had any 5th gen so… submitted by /u/Happy-Flight-4810 [link] [comments]
I’m so confused. Why are there no live performances or even parts of the song recordings by the original singers… only covers? I loved the movie and was curious what the songs sound like without edits. submitted by /u/Jmastera1 [link] [comments]
I've been rewatching so many old 2nd gen stages recently and it got me thinking about cover stages! Please get obscure with your answers--bsides, underrated songs/groups that aren't covered very often, etc. Personally, I'd love to see a new gen group cover a Teentop track. I think TXT could pull off No more perfume on you LOL. Taehyun's voice is very Neil-coded to me. submitted by /u/yvesfairies [link] [comments]
I really sympathize with the pressures that come from fans, especially when it comes to dealing with small mistakes. It's tough to face constant criticism and negativity about your work, especially when it feels like you have to sacrifice your weekends just to maintain fandom stability. It’s a lot of weight to carry, and I can understand how overwhelming that must be. I genuinely wish for the well-being of everyone working behind the scenes, and I hope they have access to the mental and physical health care they need. It’s important for everyone in such demanding environments to find support and care. submitted by /u/Last_Clothes6848 [link] [comments]
Idk bro, I’ve seen clips of their concerts and I’ve never not been jealous of the people who get to see them live. Like, the energy, the vibe, the way the crowd just feels everything, it’s insane. I hope they keep posting more though, coz that’s the closest thing I’ve got to actually being there :'> submitted by /u/pffffftokay [link] [comments]
So I just watched the mv video ns the kpop demon hunters, and I can def see the inspiration came from ive's song. It's obvious, what the producers are saying, it's cap. Irregardless of it being inspired through ive's "I am" song, its still a completely different song. It was power vocals while I am is still very soft vocals, no amazing voice that just shocks you like rumi's, no orechestratic larger than life energetic chords coming in like Golden's chorus. Ppl say if ppl like the kpop movie, they should just listen to kpop. And hearing the difference between I am and golden has never made it more clear to me on why golden is popular with everyone but the typical kpop song is not. Its bc the typical kpop song doesn't sound like this. 98% of idols are not power vocals. Most can't even sing live decently, let alone be stunningly amazing at it. And then the music production in these kpop songs, are typically not what you would find in kpop songs. Its missing that power, that energy. Kpop demon hunters Rumi was doing mamamoo exo type vocals. Like we're not getting those belt outs through most kpop songs. I was listening to I am and to me it's a good song but If I compare it go golden, it was a let down for me. Whenever the chorus came up I was expecting for the song to get bigger bc thats how the melody is presenting the song, but it just lands flat and underwhelming. It's a good song, but not my cup of tea. So I have to disagree. Golden was def inspired by I am, but it's a completely new song. If it was I am, it would not be charting like it is right now. The reason golden is popular is bc it has the best elements of kpop and the west combined. submitted by /u/spice_rice27 [link] [comments]
last time people were being rude and unthoughtful so I would like you to do that on an actual board that isn’t good… go ahead jobless crazy non-Korean K-pop Stan’s who think people’s personal song choice is trash and you’d rather criticize them than try to see my point of view! submitted by /u/Happy-Flight-4810 [link] [comments]

So I woke up this morning and WENT STRAIGHT to the album (and I love it) and once I got to “Sunday Driver” I immediately thought of “Echo” from Ablume. I even relistened to them at right behind each other and the vibe of the chorus almost matches perfectly. Did anyone else have this experience?? submitted by /u/Edditeds [link] [comments]

I genuinely think ILLIT are the best group of the 5th generation. And no, it's not just because I like them, it’s because they’ve already achieved things that most groups dream of. From their debut, they’ve broken records left and right. Magnetic made them the first female K-pop group to enter the Billboard Hot 100 with a debut song, charting at #91. It also reached #6 on the Billboard Global 200 and #2 on the Global Excl. U.S. charts. Their first EP, Super Real Me, landed at #93 on the Billboard 200. Since then, they’ve collected over 15 major awards, including Rookie of the Year titles from shows like MAMA, Golden Disc, Melon Music Awards, Japan Record Awards, and even iHeartRadio. No other 5th gen group has matched that momentum. Magnetic achieved 73 Perfect All-Kills on Korean charts. They’re the only group of their generation to ever do that. And while doing all this musically, they’ve also taken over the fashion and brand world. They've been chosen by Acne Studios (even before debut), Bioderma, La Roche-Posay, Pocari Sweat, Crocs, Lacoste Japan, Candy Magic, KT Y, and even M&M’s Asia who named them their first-ever K-pop ambassadors. In one year, ILLIT went from being trainees to global brand faces, chart-breaking artists, and record-setting rookies. No scandals, just jealousy from others because of how far they’ve come. And they also have the most respectful and most polite fandom I've ever seen, also the male fans, like me. submitted by /u/Jaded-Ad-7658 [link] [comments]
