So I’ve always found a few things weird that “fans” do to their “favorite artists.“ I don’t get following them to the airport. Why do you do it? Why are you going to that place? Airport are so awful not only to common people but also to celebrities. Like I don’t wanna dress up to go to the airport and I don’t expect Heesung from ENHYPEN too either. Why do we put artists on God-like pedestals? I don’t mean like they have divine powers I mean like they don’t have human needs. Like there’s an ongoing joke in Kpop that K-pop idols don’t go to the bathroom. Snakes go to the bathroom the actual animal. Whales go to the bathroom, things that live the the ocean. Why can’t a human? You and I both have the luxury going to the bathroom why can’t K-pop idols? All they do is be better at singing, dancing, and having better face cards than we do. Why do we expect people to not have human reactions. Why are we mad that a K-pop idol cried on stage because of grief? Why are we mad that they were happy that they met someone they liked? Why are we mad when they have friendships with someone who is not of the same gender? Why can’t they be upset about something? If they are too emotional over something regardless, if it’s a positive or negative emotional reaction people get mad and I don’t understand why Infantilizing adults in K-pop. This one really it’s kind of self-explanatory. Why are we babying adult humans? The over sexualization of minors. This one really makes me angry. Because it was OK in western culture in the 2010s with the biggest boy band on the planet, One Direction. And I’ve seen it countless times in different years for different children in the K-pop industry. I’m still not over the fact that Ni-ki was on that sexiest men or hot people list as a child. He wasn’t even 18 in international age, but he was on that list And people were OK with that, no one was talking it and how wrong that was. Not to mention the outfits minors get put in, both male and female idols. That’s all that I can think of right now. If you have one that you think I missed, please put it in the comments I would like to know what other people think should be added to this list. submitted by /u/BeccaSirc [link] [comments]
What idols have mentioned they use chatgpt? Both privately and professionally. And what are your thoughts about them using it, especially professionally where they use it to write lyrics, etc. I know San from Ateez mentioned he talks to chatgpt. And Suho of Exo and the female idol (I'm sorry, I don't know her name) talked about how they use chatgpt to write lyrics. He used it to help him and she said she just tells it to write the lyrics (if I understood them correctly). submitted by /u/Nearby-Attitude-469 [link] [comments]

You might have seen my other post appreciating Ten's music with a clip of Lie with you, but this post is for Jaehyun (Nct bros are truly on a wild run) The album J is truly a work of art-Like how does one debut with such a masterpiece-Every song is truly exceptional. My personal favourite is Can't get you-It was really fresh on my ears and I truly enjoyed all the adlibs and instrumentals. Dandelion and Roses go bar to bar for second place for me. Very impressive album from him, like he is so damn fine and then makes fine music..is this a buy one get one free promo🤣 It really helped that he took the rnb route especially after I had overused, overshuffled, overplayed the dojaejung album( return to us dojaejung😩-can we go back hates to see me coming). Another great song from him is Unconditional-he released that one and then dipped to the military🤣. I'm super excited for what he will have post military. The songs in order of the video are: ROSES-DANDELION-CAN'T GET YOU-EASY-SMOKE-FLAMIN HOT LEMON-COMPLETELY Tune in to his music today guys!!- I guess I'm done feeling inclined for the day-Bye y'all!!! Side note(I wonder which post will get more traction)🤣 submitted by /u/Muted_Bodybuilder109 [link] [comments]
First I will say that Dahyun and Jeongyeon looked the happiest to be there. Lot's of energy off those two. Tzuyu and Mina must have stepped on the sound engineers foot because their mics are very low. Nayeon and Jihyo win for best effort but both are smashing their monitors into their ears but seemed to straighten it out during the break. Who must have stepped on the camera directors foot because more of their parts appear off camera? That would be Chaeyoung and Momo. I take back fixing the monitors I just heard Nayeon hurt a cat. submitted by /u/Sapriste [link] [comments]
She posted her second photo today, and despite being mostly silent on it, she's already sitting at 700K followers. At this rate, she might cross a million soon. I'm not bringing this up to reopen the bullying scandal again, people are entitled to their opinions on it. But for me, I followed her because it just felt genuinely unfair how everything played out. She was so young, and it all unfolded so fast and so publicly. Whether or not you believe she made mistakes, the level of backlash was overwhelming. I've seen some people question why there's still so much support and how the attention feels over-the-top or parasocial. I think a lot of people, myself included, aren't just "stanning" her but quietly hoping she gets another shot at life on her own terms. So I'm curious: Why do you think so many people still care about Kim Garam, even after all this time, and even though she was only in Le sserafim for such a short period? submitted by /u/prettymuneca [link] [comments]
I could go on and on and on and on and on...Pause did I say I could go on?? I could go on and on about how ridiculously great Ten's solo discography is. It truly is an amazing ride. I was going to drop two video clips-One of Water and one of Lie with you but sub only allowed me to post one. I saw stunner being posted a while back and it got some good traction, so I'm riding on the waves that the people might wanna listen to more ten hopefully. His discography is truly unmatched-Water, Lie with you, Stunner, Enough for me e.t.c I run to his music once I hear he will be dropping music. Ten+Jaehhun+Onew+Baekhyun-my personal goated combo for good solo music. I hope you take this as a sign to listen to his music-While you are at it, listen to Twist by Wayv(truly unmatched) submitted by /u/Muted_Bodybuilder109 [link] [comments]

She was only in the group for a short time. She barely had any public activities. And with everything that happened, some people are calling the continued support “delusional” or overly parasocial. Im Korean, and KPop has been REALLY getting under my skin lately. The music is okay- I don’t really like most of the music modern groups are putting out, but that’s just my preference. It’s the FAN CULTURE. CAN FANS PLEASE EXPLAIN THESE: -Obsessing over kpop idols and their “personalities” when their jobs are to be idols on and off stage? It doesn’t mean idols are bad people, just that people shouldn’t be obsessing over their scripted personalities. -Posting “Kpop idols workouts” and “idol diets” when most idols have clear eating disorders/starve themselves -THE “CUTE IDOL MOMENT” COMPILATIONS. These idols are so clearly fishing to be clipped, and people eat it up 😭😭 -Koreaboos- PLEASE STOP. Why am I getting fetishized because I’m Korean 😭 Kdramas and Kpop are great parts of our culture, but they’re just our entertainment- many aspects of our culture are totally different submitted by /u/breaddoes [link] [comments]
I feel like every episode with Twice was super funny but if I had to pick a favorite, maybe the one where they played a “guess who” game and a game similar to never have I ever where you’d put a finger down if a description applied to you. One of my favorite moments was when Tzuyu did a body wave to grab fruit across the table when the group was eating. submitted by /u/choerry_bomb [link] [comments]
