I noticed in one of their music show performances last week that it appeared as though everyone was singing live, apart from Juhoon. His part sounded quite blatantly pre-recorded. I kind of brushed this performance off as Juhoon possibly having a sore throat or something. But then, today's live performance on KBS CoolFM came out and Juhoon literally just stands there and doesn't sing even once. Martin sings all the parts Juhoon supposedly sings when they perform on stage. They mentioned in their Weverse live that everyone was healthy, which is why I'm actually just really confused. Does anyone know what is going on? submitted by /u/Flaky_Revolution_439 [link] [comments]

I’m likely going to irk some people, but come on…Gen 4 didn’t start until 2019/2020. I get we think the generation has changed, but it makes no sense. Nothing has changed in the past 5/6 years to being in Gen 5. Think of it like this, BTS’ debut in 2013 ushered in Gen 3, because of how much they changed the industry from Gen 2. Let alone that, there is a grace period between each generation, which 2012 is a good year to show this, because of groups like EXID, Fiestar, and other groups from 2012 were still similar to groups like Sistar, Dalshabet, Girls’ Day, etc., which started to change a couple years after debut with groups like Red Velvet and GFriend. The only other way a generation will be brought in, is that the next generation of idols, this case Gen Alpha has to exceed the number of Gen Y & Z idols of a group, which hasn’t happened in any recent group yet, because that age isn’t old enough for most k-pop groups. With that, it’s obvious that no group has ushered in Gen 5 and that Gen Alpha isn’t the common idol debuting age yet. So this is how the timeline looks: Gen 1: 1990-2004 Gen 2: 2005-2012 Gen 3: 2013-2019 Gen 4: 2020-2025/2026 Gen 5: 2026/2027 - Onward I really wish everyone would stop saying it’s Gen 5 and stop rushing the Generations, especially since they don’t get classified until after they start. submitted by /u/Adamsmoberly [link] [comments]
Rules: • You can comment on the same idol more than once, but only the comment with the most upvotes will count. For example, if there are many comments for Idol A with 1 upvote each, but one comment for Idol B has more upvotes, then Idol B wins. • Comments that mention more than one idol will be disqualified submitted by /u/ConnectionOk8413 [link] [comments]
I recently saw this trend going around on tiktok where Stays upload a mood board with a picture of a non traditional attractive girl, a dirty bed and something else and then the following slide it's a picture of the uploader looking traditionally attractive (whatever that may mean) and the whole concept it's... that they're hot? That just because they're Stays doesn't mean they're ugly? Gods I cannot even begin to express the level of second hand embarrassment I get. How can a fandom be so preachy about respect but then do a whole trend of tearing each other apart? It's like they respect everyone except each other? The constant policing and attacks on each other dressed up as niceties were bad enough, but this is some next level stuff. submitted by /u/FitCarpenter6802 [link] [comments]
You can take this in two ways. Basically, if your bias left your fave group, or if they did not exist at all, would you still follow your fave groups? I think I still would in both cases, but how I fangirl would be a bit different. submitted by /u/ElloryQueen [link] [comments]

I hope I worded that decently, if not I have an example from my own experience. This is more so for the non Korean speakers. What songs do you know that are commonly referred to by their English title but your first instinct is to think of the Korean one? For me, it's Crazy Form by Ateez! They don't say crazy form in English, they say michin pom and so that's kinda just what my brain defaults to calling it lol. submitted by /u/ShinyFlower19 [link] [comments]

Bro this song has a weird hook that makes you just bop your head once the pre-chorus and chorus hit. Like bro Liz's lines are perfect. This is just a bop! What really attracts me is Gaeul's part. That "Yeah" at the start of her part was just chef kiss. What do you guys think? P.S: Starship flexing their budget on this MV submitted by /u/PonyyingBop [link] [comments]
