Iβd like to preface this by saying Iβve been to multiple Kpop and western concerts. Everytime I get seats at a kpop concert these days the people around me are always sitting down. I really want to stand but I feel bad for those around since theyβre sitting down. Like yesterday Blackpink D2 at Sofi I stood for a bit at the beginning but was promptly told to sit down. D1 I had floor so everyone was standing obviously. Multiple other concerts Iβve been to everyone was sitting too (IU, BabyMonster, aespa etc). Compared to other western concerts iβve been to recently like The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Olivia Rodrigo, Iβm in the nosebleeds and people around me are standing the entire time. I just want to understand what the difference is. I feel like the kpop concerts I used to go to Pre-2023 everyone was standing always. What has changed since and can we go back to those times? submitted by /u/GlassSeaweed718 [link] [comments]

So I was reading about the ahjumma who wore black lingerie to a P1Harmony fansign. I heard she also made Theo put a leash on her?? Is that true? Does anyone know the details of this frightening event? That is some crazy.... submitted by /u/Liv_Maddox [link] [comments]
Yesterday I asked propaganda youβre not falling for so I figured Iβd ask the opposite. For me personally someone brought this up in the last one (no shade towards them) but buying multiple versions of an album lol. I never splurge but I do take the advantage of me being young with no bills and responsibilities yet.π (And no Iβm not spending my parents money this is money I earn myself) submitted by /u/starzwag_ [link] [comments]
I didnβt really notice until someone on Twitter pointed it out, but it looks like all 4th-gen girl groups hit their peak album sales in 2023β24, even some 3rd-gen groups like TWICE and Red Velvet. Now things are kind of all over the place. One group dropped by a million units compared to their peak, and a few others saw sales drop by 50%. Some, like IVE and NMIXX, had much smaller declines. Overall, 2023 had a huge boom year for album sales across the board, including boy groups. But 2024-25 feels more like a correction. submitted by /u/Striking-Meal-5257 [link] [comments]
I'll go - Jihyo (Twice), Haewon & Sullyoon (NMIXX), Hyolyn (Sistar), JB & Youngjae (Got7), Taeyang (Bigbang), Changmin (TVXQ), Kyuhyun (SuJu) submitted by /u/rainbow_gemini [link] [comments]
I am sorry if this will offend any one but I really just want to point this out. I recently have seen many clips of girl groups in their concert and other live performances and sometimes I feel uneasy seeing idols with super short short or tight fitting shorts. You can really see the outline of their private part ( I think others call them camel toe?) and butt when they walk . I mean yes it's their body they can dress what ever they want but can't their stylist put a little safety on that part. Like I get anxious when they dance and get scare that they might flash us or something. (obviously not a nice thing to happen) submitted by /u/Scary-Dimension8732 [link] [comments]
I wanted to share some exciting news my app, IdolLink, just passed the first round of the Korea Startup Grand Challenge (KSGC) this year! π For those who donβt know, IdolLink is a fan-to-idol platform designed especially for K-pop and Thai GL fans. We focus on real-time live rooms, language learning with idols, exclusive BTS content, and building safe, positive spaces for fandoms to connect. Itβs a passion project born from my own experience as a fan, and it means the world that KSGC recognized our potential. While we didnβt make the final round to go to Korea this time, this milestone has fueled me even more to keep building and growing the app for the amazing communities we serve. The journey isnβt over itβs just beginning! If youβre interested in fandom tech, safe fan spaces, or want to follow IdolLinkβs progress, Iβd love to connect. And of course, any feedback or support means everything. Thanks for reading, and to all the dreamers out there keep pushing! submitted by /u/Unhappy_Winter_8502 [link] [comments]
Golden just hit 6th in the BB100, and might as well hit the top spot soon. I've seen many people love this song, and I've heard it a couple of times, and I thought it was ok, but not as good as everyone claims it is. To me, it just sounds like a less powerful copy of I AM, by IVE, a group I stan. The verse and refrain were fire, but than it just fell from there. I believe the song is so overrated. Takedown, Your Idol, How It's Done, all miles better than Golden, in my opinion. Why do you think this song was the one that hit with the viewers the most? Also, following the success of the song, do you think I AM and Rebel Heart will becomr successful in the US? submitted by /u/KeinkoMusic35 [link] [comments]
i LOVE this cover, i need it injected on my veins. Please, go check it out on Junhee's channel! submitted by /u/_issio [link] [comments]

βββββββββββββββββ Hey everyone, Today Jo Yuri is back with a new mini album. The last time she released an album was back in 2023, and it's time to see what she has been cooking. I've been enjoying everything she has been releasing since her solo debut in 2021. I've been waiting and anticipating what she'll bring to the table. Now, let's dive into this record and explore what the singer has brought to the table with this new album. βββββββββββββββββ https://preview.redd.it/pocti67otvcf1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07ab7b0e0fbe46798e7d7fb40d24d6fda0fd5586 Episode 25 - Jo Yuri μ΄μ μλ ! The title track opens up the album, bringing in a pop-rock vibe that fits perfectly with her sweet voice. The melody is one thing that brings this tune to life as the singer hits some killer notes. Yuri's performance sounds like a breath of fresh air since it feels like a long time since we heard original music from her. The hook sounds like it could be used in an Anime, which put a smile on my face. The more I hear this tune, the more I find that this tune Yuri coded. I can't wait to have this tune on repeat cause this is a perfect title track for the singer and one that welcomes her back. https://preview.redd.it/o401d0t0uvcf1.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=882d5c8fa3a2b0c5bcc8ff7353c0ce75e3dc6497 βββββββββ βββββββ κ°μ κ³ μμ΄μ μκ° The second track on the album was pre-released on July 7th, and I've been listening to it a lot, gathering my thoughts on it. One thing I love about this tune is that Jo Yuri co-produced it. This track reminds me of something that you could hear playing in a cafe. The breathy vocal performance fits the melody that moves the tune forward. The percussion has a groovy/jazzy vibe to it. The vocals are fantastic as Yuri continues to impress me once again on this album. I'm glad she pre-released this tune cause it's been on repeat like crazy as it's becoming one of my favorites. https://preview.redd.it/s6z019lcuvcf1.jpg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1111c53718a9d5c789c318cc8fed8288fb81ecd3 βββββββββ βββββββ HICCUP The third song on the album brings in a funky vibe that pulled me right into the mix as I was listening to it this morning. Yuri fits this funky vibe like fine wine. The funky nature of the instrumental gives this tune a bit of a '90s vibe. The hook slaps with the melody that helps it stick in my mind, as I've heard this tune a few times today. Yuri hits hard with the vocal performance as she blends wonderfully with the smooth nature of the instrumental, also delivering. I find that this tune could've been released by a group, and it would still hit as hard as it does with it being released by a soloist. https://preview.redd.it/6yt9l2rjuvcf1.jpg?width=320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cfb7551a6ae366925c193bda482da915f3511e07 βββββββββ βββββββ 4. μ μν΄ The fourth song on the album goes for an R&B vibe with a robotic backup vocal that blends perfectly with the breathy delivery. Yuri fits well with the R&B instrumental that breathes new life into this album. The track also has a groovy hook that keeps popping up in my head today. The melody is smooth, helping to craft this bouncy feeling. Yuri continues to hit hard as she has a great voice that can sing over anything. I also love the guitar, which helps craft that R&B sound that works so well with the singer. https://preview.redd.it/n388k6cmuvcf1.jpg?width=194&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9ae846ff92c5d776a3b9b87d38397b325b5321ab βββββββββ βββββββ Overkill The closing track on the project does a great job of pulling you into the vibe of the tune. The first verse moves into the mix slowly, almost having a ballad vibe, before the dark nature hits the listener. The vocals blend wonderfully as Yuri delivers the lyrics in English. You can feel the emotion throughout the song as it does a terrific job closing out the album. This dark electro-pop tune fits the singer's performance, reminding me of something Lady Gaga could do. I didn't know I needed this dark electro-pop tune from Yuri as a closer to her album, but I did. https://preview.redd.it/c9agjvxruvcf1.jpg?width=201&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=42bede97a96e547059c63390f3e3ecee53065d9b βββββββββββββββββ Summary: Jo Yuri returned with a new album that hits hard with the production and the vocals. It's hard to pick a favorite on the record, as these tunes are all becoming my favorite. The title track goes for this pop-rock sound that is perfect for Yuri and her vocal performance. I'm glad the soloist is back with a record I know will be on repeat for me, as it's something I want to hear again, even after already hearing it a few times. I can't wait to see what other songs Yuri will release in the future with her impressive idiosyncrasies. βββββββββββββββββ https://preview.redd.it/vzdyc5esuvcf1.jpg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=929bfc30f1d488005161345a6af3edcddddcded2 submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]
Makes me wonder about the existence of a BPxBTS group chat. So sad that we dont fully get to see both of these groups interacting because of the fans but I'd like to imagine that they're good friends haha lol. submitted by /u/rrraemi [link] [comments]
