i had no idea where to post this but ig this sub is my best bet. seunghan (former riize) recently announced that he will be going solo, changing his stage name to xeunghan and has two permanent dancers which will promote with him as XOUL. from my observations it seems like he is still gonna be a soloist and XOUL isn’t exactly a new boy group under SM but i’m still a bit confused abt the situation. some people compared them to seo taiji and the boys but i have no idea how that group worked, could someone explain? 🙏 submitted by /u/dscyber [link] [comments]

So Doyoung just did a solo Dingo Killing Voice and I've always been in love with his vocals but this was such a great display of that. What are some of your absolute favourite vocal performances? The kind that makes you feel like you're being lifted off the ground because it's sooo good 😅 submitted by /u/Chutneysandwich16 [link] [comments]

This makes me wonder since I just learn that NCT Wish main vocal, Jaehee, only trained for 3 months before he debut in NCT Lastart. To add on that, he has no prior vocal training at all before he enter SM. Man is a muggle in idol world and just ballad enjoyer, singing in karaoke. (Which is super impressive cuz he's one of the best 5th gen vocalist) I'm well aware that a lot of SM main vocalists have short trainee period too like Kyuhyun and Ryeowook (2 months), Chen and Baekhyun (4 months). Shotaro has short trainee period too and instantly become main dancer. But they all have proper singing and dancing experience prior entering SM. So is there any idol who has shorter training period? submitted by /u/Personal_Damage6616 [link] [comments]
So it was announced today that Chorong, Bomi, Namjoo and Hayoung signed a management contract with With Us Entertainment, the company the boygroup The Wind is under For people who don't know, With Us Entertainment was created as a sister company of Around Us Entertainment, which is the label Beast Highlight members are co-CEOs of. One of WUE's directors is one of Highlight's ex managers and currently their main producer is KZ together with his team I was really wondering if there was a plan to sign other idols - AUE/WUE bought the old JYP building and moved there in 2023 and it's a pretty big building for only two groups. Now I'm sitting there hoping they'll poach Cube groups or reunite old Cube idols little by little (a girl can dream) submitted by /u/sessurea [link] [comments]

tldr: "melvin" (my friend in grade 1-grade3, then moved and friends w him again in grade 6 but when we reached high school we lost contact) who im not friends with anymore and i were very obsessed with magic and bts in grade 3 and made a "magic bts squad" based off it, (we had representative bts songs as our "thing" where i used to represent "No More Dream") then i made a reboot of the "magic bts squad" with 15 of my other friends/their friends but instead of bts i used the groups they stan (e.g Aileen has Red Velvet theme, her sister Caitlyn has the Gfriend theme, Will has the Seventeen theme, I have the Stray Kids theme and Mordechai has the Wanna One theme, etc.) i even used some og members for my 2025 version of the friend group (members that were in the squad in grade 3) such as George (Apink theme), Harry (14U theme), Shmuel (used to have Stray Kids theme, but now has Twice theme) and Elliot (SuJu theme, used to be Stray Kids theme) and I accidentally forgot to invite Melvin (I would've given him the Enhypen theme IF i didn't forget to invite him in again to be fair) in again, but I felt like I shouldn't have bothered since i havent met him since grade 6 and from that, he resorted to making friends with my assa*lter and doxxing one of the members of the "reboot magic squad" submitted by /u/Minute_Ice_7434 [link] [comments]

Bubble subs - $15 Concerts - $1000 Merch - $300 Travel accomodations - $600 Ideally it'd be around $2000 but these days I rarely go to concerts or buy merch or travel anymore so it's more or less like $200 now. I'm slowly slipping out of my crazy K-Pop addict phase nowadays to the point where my ult announcing a concert tour scares me cuz my group isn't at all gonna be cheap to see ☠️ especially if I have to travel again. Koreans are so expensive submitted by /u/No-Vehicle1562 [link] [comments]

By the time the new album will be released, they will have had 26 new songs for the tour. I've been trying to imagine how their setlist will go for this new tour, and I've jist sitting here completely boggled at the idea that the new songs by themselves could already constitute an entire concert setlist by itself. This is not including their huge catalogue of hits which have to be included. Damn, creating a setlist with their catalogue must be a chore and a half lol. They better bring back that roulette. submitted by /u/BlueThePineapple [link] [comments]
I’ve seen a lot of talk about BLACKPINK not having enough new group songs, but with all four members having released solo tracks, isn’t there still plenty of material for a tour? They’ve already performed solo songs on past tours, so I was wondering why people do not account the recent releases when talking about the setlists? Are there explicit restrictions that disallow them from performing the solo songs? Not saying new music wouldn’t be great, but personally, I’d only be interested in a concert if a big part of it included their recent solo releases. submitted by /u/SirSuperb9269 [link] [comments]
