So it was announced today that Chorong, Bomi, Namjoo and Hayoung signed a management contract with With Us Entertainment, the company the boygroup The Wind is under For people who don't know, With Us Entertainment was created as a sister company of Around Us Entertainment, which is the label Beast Highlight members are co-CEOs of. One of WUE's directors is one of Highlight's ex managers and currently their main producer is KZ together with his team I was really wondering if there was a plan to sign other idols - AUE/WUE bought the old JYP building and moved there in 2023 and it's a pretty big building for only two groups. Now I'm sitting there hoping they'll poach Cube groups or reunite old Cube idols little by little (a girl can dream) submitted by /u/sessurea [link] [comments]

tldr: "melvin" (my friend in grade 1-grade3, then moved and friends w him again in grade 6 but when we reached high school we lost contact) who im not friends with anymore and i were very obsessed with magic and bts in grade 3 and made a "magic bts squad" based off it, (we had representative bts songs as our "thing" where i used to represent "No More Dream") then i made a reboot of the "magic bts squad" with 15 of my other friends/their friends but instead of bts i used the groups they stan (e.g Aileen has Red Velvet theme, her sister Caitlyn has the Gfriend theme, Will has the Seventeen theme, I have the Stray Kids theme and Mordechai has the Wanna One theme, etc.) i even used some og members for my 2025 version of the friend group (members that were in the squad in grade 3) such as George (Apink theme), Harry (14U theme), Shmuel (used to have Stray Kids theme, but now has Twice theme) and Elliot (SuJu theme, used to be Stray Kids theme) and I accidentally forgot to invite Melvin (I would've given him the Enhypen theme IF i didn't forget to invite him in again to be fair) in again, but I felt like I shouldn't have bothered since i havent met him since grade 6 and from that, he resorted to making friends with my assa*lter and doxxing one of the members of the "reboot magic squad" submitted by /u/Minute_Ice_7434 [link] [comments]

Bubble subs - $15 Concerts - $1000 Merch - $300 Travel accomodations - $600 Ideally it'd be around $2000 but these days I rarely go to concerts or buy merch or travel anymore so it's more or less like $200 now. I'm slowly slipping out of my crazy K-Pop addict phase nowadays to the point where my ult announcing a concert tour scares me cuz my group isn't at all gonna be cheap to see ☠️ especially if I have to travel again. Koreans are so expensive submitted by /u/No-Vehicle1562 [link] [comments]

By the time the new album will be released, they will have had 26 new songs for the tour. I've been trying to imagine how their setlist will go for this new tour, and I've jist sitting here completely boggled at the idea that the new songs by themselves could already constitute an entire concert setlist by itself. This is not including their huge catalogue of hits which have to be included. Damn, creating a setlist with their catalogue must be a chore and a half lol. They better bring back that roulette. submitted by /u/BlueThePineapple [link] [comments]
I’ve seen a lot of talk about BLACKPINK not having enough new group songs, but with all four members having released solo tracks, isn’t there still plenty of material for a tour? They’ve already performed solo songs on past tours, so I was wondering why people do not account the recent releases when talking about the setlists? Are there explicit restrictions that disallow them from performing the solo songs? Not saying new music wouldn’t be great, but personally, I’d only be interested in a concert if a big part of it included their recent solo releases. submitted by /u/SirSuperb9269 [link] [comments]
This is gonna fall on death ears to some because a lot of you guys don't care about racism etc. But as a black kpop fan, I'm so tired of the anti-blackness in this fandom it's insane. An idol doing something bad and then giving some bare minimum apology doesn't magically erase what they did. In fact, this applies to any and all celebrities. 90% of the time they're only apologising to save themselves. Look if you wanna move on from the KIOF incident, that's your business, but I hope kissies realise how icky it is calling anyone disappointed in KIOF 'haters'. From day 1 they were being dismissive of the feelings of black and Latino fans and now that new music has dropped, they have completely stopped caring. This applies to other groups too, I never really forget when an idol does something particularly terrible. And i mean the type of terrible that is within their control to prevent. Nobody was holding those girls at gunpoint to mock other races. I just can't stand how some people meat ride celebrities regardless of what they do and have the audacity to call people actually concerned with their behaviour haters. I'm not excusing death threats and harassment, that's obviously extreme and wrong, but people are allowed to have an opinion of what they did, regardless of their apology, and you don't get to be dismissive of that. God forbid I drop chae after the shirt incident but onces start foaming at their mouths whenever someone feels negatively about her because of that scandal. Celebrities aren't owed your support, I'll drop any I think goes against my morals. submitted by /u/ajjanaajjana [link] [comments]
Kpop sets itself apart with their detailed choreo and performance aspects in music. There's so much variety out there with each group bringing something unique to the stage. So I'm curious, as someone who's an amateur when it comes to appreciating storytelling and emotions through dance, what are your all-time favorite choreos? It could just be something aesthetically pleasing, or something you think stands out for its creativity or difficulty. submitted by /u/EatMyNuggets23 [link] [comments]

They just wrapped up their SYNK tour like two months ago, and now they’re already scheduled for another one starting this August. It’s kind of wild that they’re gearing up for a whole world tour again after just dropping a single that hasn’t even come out yet. I get that aespa is SM’s biggest asset, cash cow, or however you wanna put it, but it feels pretty sleazy to launch another tour with basically the same setlist plus one new song. Personally, I didn’t think the last tour was worth the overall ticket price for several reasons but I really hope they at least bring a live band this time. It’s honestly ridiculous that a group this big is still touring without one. As someone who attended their last tour, it just feels way too rushed. It would've made more sense for both the members and the fans if they had taken a bit more time before jumping into another round of shows. submitted by /u/Acrobatic_Prize_7749 [link] [comments]
Have y'all ever gotten an unexplainable bad feeling/vibe from an idol even though they haven't done anything wrong/controversial? There is one idol whom is literally like the sweetest person in the world, but something about them makes me feel wary even though I have absolutely nothing to back up those feelings. I feel like I'm going crazy because I keep trying to tell myself that there's literally nothing wrong with them KJVFDSKAJ Also, just to be courteous, I think it would be best to not name any idols by name in the comments of this post. submitted by /u/Lost-Opinion3554 [link] [comments]
