Name an idol who dominates the choreography no matter what that starts with the letter C (not necessarily the main dancers, could be the underrated ones too)

When I first got into Kpop, I used to only listen to it. ONLY. There were no other artists on my playlists and I was so engrossed with the same 5 groups I stanned, and the same 20ish songs I listened to on repeat. Now, I would say that I have a huge diversity. I listen to a lot of Kpop groups across generations and style. And I include lots of kpop songs in my playlist. But I only "stan" like 2-3 of them. I prefer listening to groups casually rather than keeping up with all the content surrounding them as I find that too exhausting. I also have alot of western artists and Indian artists (I'm Indian) on my playlists. My repeats tend to be pretty mainstream artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Chapell Roan, Kendrick Lamar, SZA etc. I've also been listening to this artist called Sofia Isella, whom I couldn't recommend enough, she made me fall in love with lyrics again. So, do you only listen to Kpop? Or do you have a diversity? submitted by /u/Feeling_Neo [link] [comments]

I'm going to create a complication of posts about K-Pop groups, idols, etc. It will be 12 posts, I will post it everyday, asking about your first bias, first group to stan, fav song, and kind of things like that. Therefore this is the first post, I hope you guys enjoy itđđ \Note:* You can also tell me when did you stan your first K-pop group and how do you choose your bias, if you want to! I'll start first, RosĂ© is my first ever bias in K-Pop, along with BLACKPINK as my first group to stan. Since 2018, I was listening to DDU-DU-DDU-DU; and then I fell in love with it. So I started to know about BP, I love them and end up with chose RosĂ© as my bias because of her amazing vocals, sweet personality, and wonderful visuals. submitted by /u/Specific_Cake_5410 [link] [comments]

Sorry if this is a banned topic mods, I apologize. As far as I know, there's a manual process of getting posts approved on that sub. However, the mods have basically killed the sub by not being active, in my opinion. It's fine if you have less time, but at least do away with the approval process and let people post and actually use the sub. It's too bad because I actually enjoy the format of the posts there. submitted by /u/KillerKingKobra [link] [comments]

There are a lot of sad songs esp. ballad songs out there but Taeyeon's solo discography is something else. I remember listening to Fine by Taeyeon and I cried like I was divorced 5x and my husband left me for someone hahaha submitted by /u/kayedny [link] [comments]
As some of you may know, Woozi produced the Leader Class song called ECHO! for the latest season of Street Woman Fighter which aired last week. A lot of Korean fans of the show voiced frustration over the track different reasons. One of the major issues was with the lyrics. The chorus, which is the main section the choreographies are made for, goes something like this: The Hoshi x Woozi who were here came back without dying The Hoshi x Woozi who were here got all the vibe Echo What you gon' do (Eh Eh) What you gon' what you gon' what you gon' (Eh Eh) Our music let's feel the echo (Eh Eh) What you gon' what you gon' what you gon' do (Eh Eh) What you gon' what you gon' do now A lot of viewers felt the lyrics were inconsiderate toward the invited dancers. These Class Mission songs are supposed to be all about the dancers, not the producers or idols. So including Hoshi and Wooziâs names in the lyrics left a sour taste for many. When I first watched last week's episode, I didnât think too much of it, probably because I couldnât even make out the lyrics. Then the new episode aired yesterday, and I just finished watching it. Rie Hata's choreography was selected for the mission and she ended up winning (thank goodness). For those unfamiliar with her, Rie is one of the most renowned choreographers in the world. She's worked with nearly every big K-pop artist out there (BTS, TWICE, G-Dragon, Stray Kids, EXO, Red Velvet, Aespa, you name it). When the judges asked her why she deserved to be the main dancer for the mission, she spoke from the heart about her journey as a dancer. She said: My career began as Lady Gaga's backup dancer when I was 18. Now that I work as a choreographer, I've gotten used to not dancing the routines I create. I've spent years as a dancer, performing on big stages, whether it's BTS making my choreography shine or G-Dragon bringing it to life. But no matter how big the stage is, I was still just a backup dancer behind a star. This time, though, it's different. It's a music video where we, the dancers, are in the spotlight, not the artists. That kind of opportunity is rare. Since this is a chance for dancers to truly shine, I want to be the main dancer. She even shed tears of joy when she was eventually chosen as the main dancer. And seeing how emotional she got, despite being such an accomplished figure, made me wish even more that she had been given a better song to work with. The outcome itself was amazing. Rie was a fantastic director, and the final MV turned out great. But watching them dance to those lyrics left me feeling conflicted. It made it seem like these incredible dancers were once again just performing for the artist. Choreography is a HUGE reason why K-pop has been so globally successful. Without these amazing choreographers, K-pop wouldnât be where it is today. Theyâre the creative force behind the moves that go viral, the performances that fans remember, and the identities that groups build around. So when they finally get a moment to shine, it should feel like theirs. I just wish they had been more considerate when giving the song to the dancers. submitted by /u/Carelessies [link] [comments]

Doesn't have to necessarily be the parts that are famous or go viral. Anything that makes the song enjoyable for you. submitted by /u/Chutneysandwich16 [link] [comments]
Some context: I don't really stan BTS. I respect them as artists and enjoy some of their songs but I am not like a FAN. So for me, BTS solos were an opportunity to see a completely new side and individual personality of the members since I don't follow fan content. Would love to hear which solo project excited you the most (BTS fan or not). For me, Taehyung's album was the favorite. I love the direction he took. It's more of a slow-core r&b project but I really like this type of sound. I don't know if he was involved in songwriting but the songs felt very personal which is always a plus for me. Definitely looking forward to more Layover type projects from him. After that I'd say Jungkook. He went for a more traditional pop boy route but he really killed it. The album is a no skip. The only problem was it was a little cliche and safe so I hope he takes more risks in the next project. He definitely has the skill and talent to do so. What were your favorite BTS solo projects? submitted by /u/VengeanceAI [link] [comments]
