Tonight I-dle has become the first girl group to win a Daesang at the Seoul Music Awards since Girls’ Generation achieved this in 2010. 15 years have passed ‼️ I don’t think K-Pop fans put into historical perspective what I-dle achieved throughout 2024. If their 2022 and their 2023 were already stellar, they reached even newer heights last year. And I don’t think there is a single girl group that deserves this level of recognition and success more than them. Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua are all five humble, talented, hardworking, authentic, innovative, personable, charismatic and beautiful angels that have gradually left a mark in the K-Pop history books. Just had this random thought, they are a global group based in LA and are co-owned by a US label. I don't know how concert logistics work but it seems logical to me that their concert tickets should be cheaper, no? Okay so for context. I remember a few years ago I watched a concert video of this older boy kpop group where one of the members wore a dress and a wig and then danced with the other member (and they also kissed at the end or pretended to kiss 😂) anyways I cannot remember the name of the group, or what the song it was they were singing too because it was a really good song! ‼️ Content warning for stalking, harassment, etc. My ult group (Drippin) is a smaller group and it came as a culture shock to realize just how invasive a large number of fans are. At first, I lived in blissful ignorance, but then a scandal happened in November where my bias (Minseo) was exposed by his alleged ex of being in a relationship. Since then, there has been an influx of harassment, stalking, and even blackmail towards the one member, but the fandom seems to have normalized a lot of this behavior because the fan base is small and so many of them have been breaking their privacy rules since they debuted. I wasn't sure if this was common since I've never stanned smaller groups before, but I feel at a loss when these things happen and fans talk about the content and not how it was obtained. It even got to the point where fairly recently, one of the sasaengs threatened to release more videos of a trip the one member took a while ago if he didn't apologize to her. And then showed recent pictures as a sort of threat that she's keeping tabs. But it's really not just her and many of their trending posts (especially on Douyin) are showcasing the members in ways that have me worried for their safety. This doesn't even include the different fansign videos of Minseo being verbally harassed and made fun of after the scandal. They've also been saying really disgusting things regarding harming the one member and the company hasn't done anything. Is this normal in smaller/nugu groups? I just started getting into Kpop recently but this question has been haunting me. I still don't know much about all the groups and idols so I'd like some help in resolving this. I've been a bunny since debut and started standing illit a bit after magnetic came out before the legal dispute between newjeans and ador started I don't know how to feel about newjeans anymore due to hanni lying about illits manager telling illit to ignore her and their affiliation with a bunny known for harrasing other groups, but I do also feel bad for them and feel they have been manipulated by min heejin the illit hate train that happened at debut was caused by min heejin but also largely newjeans and I feel terrible for the illit girls all this to say I have no idea where to place myself, I'm not sure how to feel about newjeans anymore but I loved them and their music so much I don't want to let it go, I wanted to hear others opinions specially people who stan(ned) newjeans and illit submitted by /u/Then_General5061 [link] [comments]

Ok guys hear me out on my ideas of a sequel... 1 Overarching Idea: I think if they EVER did a sequel, having Celine be the 2nd villain would be interesting. Seeing as she never redeemed herself with accepting Rumi. It could allow the story to bring back Jinu or more characters to prove that demons are misunderstood. Showing Celine how Gwi - Ma is the main antagonist to the overall world. 2 Framing of story: We could have the story take 1-2 years later, seeing that Huntrix is back from hiatus and is planning a world tour or are already on it. This means we could get different locations (i.e., Japan, US, EU), yk. Then they'd notice that the Hamoon has torn in like lets say, Japan. Where Gwi - Ma is rebuilding strength and is holding Jinu hostage or something. 3 More ideas: We could even get more lore behind Rumi's parents. See what happened to the remaining Saja Boy's fans. They could be a factor that's tearing the Hamoon. Or giving power back to Gwi -Ma Another idea is giving Rumi the ability to go to both worlds. Focusing on Mira and Zoey backgrounds (can tie with #2 idea) Celine POV of Rumi's Parents (can tie with #1 idea) Anyways, if you couldn't this might be my current hyper-fixation!
