Will katseye future concerts be cheaper in the US in comparison to kpop groups?

Just had this random thought, they are a global group based in LA and are co-owned by a US label. I don't know how concert logistics work but it seems logical to me that their concert tickets should be cheaper, no? Also I suppose their future concerts in Asia will be more expensive submitted by /u/sueueu6e36 [link] [comments]

647. EXO'S LOVE ME RIGHT IN K-POP DEMON HUNTER

I was seriously not expecting EXO's song to be played because of how unfair they are treated when it comes to acknowledgement. That hawaii printed tshirt dude looks so much like Kai during Kokobop era. And the beanie guy looked a bit like Xiumin. I'm just so happy. submitted by /u/bamgeut13 [link] [comments]

649. Free Idols from the shackles of hiding their laughter 😩

I’m honestly annoyed they do this 😭😭😭 ik ik they’ve been doing it in recent years but it just erked me that when they laugh they cover their mouths like 😭😭😂 the fact that it’s all of them hiding their mouth when they exclaim or chuckle 😭😭 SM and other companies please let them laugh in peace I beg. I need the old ways where idols would be laughing and throwing themselves on the ground to how hard they be laughing at each other😭😭😂 they was rolling around on the floor now new gen idols act all poise all the time and come off as lacking personality.🙁 submitted by /u/Raccoonani [link] [comments]

651. English Kpop songs are not Kpop songs

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

We need to stop calling english kpop songs, kpop songs. Don't get me wrong i don't hate them, matter fact some of my favourite songs are in englisch like regular - NCT127 or who do you love - MonstaX It's just unfair since the english songs intend to perform better than the korean songs. When Bad bunny releases a song in english people also don't call it a latino song because it is in english. When BTS released dynamite or butter people say this is kpop because it was made by a korean group, but that shouldn't be like this. I know that this topic is not that deep but i just thought about it. submitted by /u/Injeolmie_04 [link] [comments]

652. Your biases decide to form a new group together. Which idols are in the group?

Had this silly idea and I'm so curious to see the answers for other people! Mine would be Felix & Han (skz), Moka (illit), Yewon (fifty fifty), Cocona (xg), and Chaeryeong (itzy). The results would be insanely weird lol, I can't even fathom what kind of sound or concept they would settle on! submitted by /u/arbor-ventus [link] [comments]

655. History will remember 2024 as the year of I-dle, and personally, I couldn’t be happier

  • reddit.com language

Tonight I-dle has become the first girl group to win a Daesang at the Seoul Music Awards since Girls’ Generation achieved this in 2010. 15 years have passed ‼️ I don’t think K-Pop fans put into historical perspective what I-dle achieved throughout 2024. If their 2022 and their 2023 were already stellar, they reached even newer heights last year. And I don’t think there is a single girl group that deserves this level of recognition and success more than them. Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua are all five humble, talented, hardworking, authentic, innovative, personable, charismatic and beautiful angels that have gradually left a mark in the K-Pop history books. THANK YOU I-DLE for all you have done for this industry, and may you continue to expand your already amazing legacy! submitted by /u/KyeodeurangiMerchant [link] [comments]

659. I'm looking for a video about a kpop concert!

Okay so for context. I remember a few years ago I watched a concert video of this older boy kpop group where one of the members wore a dress and a wig and then danced with the other member (and they also kissed at the end or pretended to kiss 😂) anyways I cannot remember the name of the group, or what the song it was they were singing too because it was a really good song! If anyone can remember what I'm talking about this would genuinely make my day. Thanks so much! submitted by /u/Fabulous-Yam-1709 [link] [comments]

664. My ult group's core fans are sasaengs... Is this normal?

  • 5 days ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

‼️ Content warning for stalking, harassment, etc. My ult group (Drippin) is a smaller group and it came as a culture shock to realize just how invasive a large number of fans are. At first, I lived in blissful ignorance, but then a scandal happened in November where my bias (Minseo) was exposed by his alleged ex of being in a relationship. Since then, there has been an influx of harassment, stalking, and even blackmail towards the one member, but the fandom seems to have normalized a lot of this behavior because the fan base is small and so many of them have been breaking their privacy rules since they debuted. I wasn't sure if this was common since I've never stanned smaller groups before, but I feel at a loss when these things happen and fans talk about the content and not how it was obtained. It even got to the point where fairly recently, one of the sasaengs threatened to release more videos of a trip the one member took a while ago if he didn't apologize to her. And then showed recent pictures as a sort of threat that she's keeping tabs. But it's really not just her and many of their trending posts (especially on Douyin) are showcasing the members in ways that have me worried for their safety. This doesn't even include the different fansign videos of Minseo being verbally harassed and made fun of after the scandal. They've also been saying really disgusting things regarding harming the one member and the company hasn't done anything. Is this normal in smaller/nugu groups? How do you cope when the amount of fans doesn't overpower the amount of ssngs + antis? submitted by /u/Traditional-Egg4871 [link] [comments]

665. You have 60 minutes until the world ends. Which K-Pop song are you playing? The only condition is that it has to be sad!

I'm playing I'm unhappy, melody and till we meet again( and other songs that aren't kpop). I think this is a pretty hard category cause most kpop songs are high-energy and really dance-vibed ! submitted by /u/EggProfessional4267 [link] [comments]
