So, I’ve stanned SKZ for a little over two years now. Been to a few shows and still like some of their music to this day. Lately though, especially after attending a few shows, I feel like Bangchan’s performative persona is very different than other idols. Despite the love he has for the members and understandable annoyance with crazy fans, he just comes off very fake to me. Of course all idols are fake to an extent but even on stage the way he speaks and smiles seems SO performative like he does not actually mean what he says, nothing feels genuine with him, like there’s always an underlying annoyance. Which hurts to say bc I do love the group but I don’t even know how to explain it his vibes just give off that in real life he is probably not the nicest guy to interact with, especially with fans. I started feeling this way after going to an Ateez show, Hongjoong (and other members) genuinely seems happy to be where he is and enjoys interacting with fans. Not all members of SKZ specifically Bangchan just does not give that same vibe. Also is why I think they never do send offs (that’s a complete theory so pls don’t latch onto that I know it’s an over the top stretch) Does anyone else get this vibe? submitted by /u/Rare-Ad-1596 [link] [comments]
I'm someone who has pretty assymetrical eye shape and it's much more noticeable with makeup. It definitely wasn't my favourite part of my face until I started to appreciate it more because of Wooyoung's pretty eyes. Curious to know if you've had any similar experiences. submitted by /u/YeosangYodeler [link] [comments]

The blatant use of ai now is becoming a norm in kpop where in companies are resorting to it for faster production which apparently can save them time and money. I just saw a post about the recent trailer for a grp and almost 80% of it is ai generated which is sad and alarming. We might see full ai generated mvs in the future and also music getting replaced by fake artists. The constant usage of ai will be the death of creativity in kpop and the fast paced industry will abuse this to generate more money and save production cost. Literally lowering the quality for the sake of faster comebacks resulting to uninspired and mediocre results that of course, people will consume. submitted by /u/behindsomewalls [link] [comments]
