20. what's the construction quality in stage outfits these days/have any groups you follow have consistent clothing incidents? because Seventeen's pants keep ripping

  • 5 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

genuine question about other groups: are they having their clothes rip often? I don't keep up with a lot of groups, but Seventeen literally keeps having wardrobe malfunctions at concerts/stages. I know they're a high intensity group that are always jumping, and I guess technically it's not necessarily that constant of a rate, but every few concerts fans will report "someone ripped his pants onstage" and it's usually Mingyu and reportedly it happened to him again at a pre-recording lmao. Maybe in the last year when I started following SVT consistently, I can count like 7 incidents off the top of my head, which might not be a lot for how many performances they do and how many of them there are, but I don't know how many is expected. Anyway are my guys just cursed or have there been other groups experiencing clothing issues? I'm not asking anyone to embarrass their idols or cite specific incidents, I just kinda wanna know what the issue might be and how the clothes are being sourced. Also, if it's a consistent issue considered typical, or if there's been an increase in malfunctions in recent years you've noticed. submitted by /u/SomeRaceHorseName [link] [comments]

21. Why do you think Pledis is not allowing Seventeen to do solo albums?

  • 5 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Mingyu and Scoups just released a unit album, and during its promotion, Mingyu has said, that he was actually hoping to have a solo album. Hoshi and Woozi (who released a unit album before enlistment) also expressed wanting to release solo albums and right before Jeonghan and Wonwoo enlisted, they too released a unit album, but ALSO expressed some confusion over being teamed up for a unit. Seventeen is over 10 years old, they rake in money for Pledis, and have generated profit and kept Pledis afloat since 2020. So its quite odd Pledis is pairing them off before enlistment to put out unit albums, that the members, seemingly...didnt really want? This is confusing business strategy to me..but also weird approach to artist management. Wonwoo, Mingyu, Jeonghan are some of the most popular members-they could sell blank CD's. Pledis is now 80% owned by Hybe so they have the financial and physical resources to produce these solo albums..but have confusedly, not done so What do you think the reason could be? submitted by /u/127ncity127 [link] [comments]

28. Do people actually care about the companies?

  • 8 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I see lots of posts accusing people of being Hybe stans or antis or whatever. Who are these actual people who are solely committed to a single company? Do they actually exist? The groups I listen to are IVE, Blackpink, Itzy, Le Sserafim, and aespa. They are all from different companies. I would expect others to be more like be, but there's a ton of discourse acting as if that isn't the case. submitted by /u/SpecSlayerSC [link] [comments]

30. I created a kpop group inspired by SUGA called "SWG"

  • 9 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

In 2023, I met Kang, the CEO of a small Korean company. He praised my potential but made it clear that I needed to improve my skills. He asked me to improve my Korean and gave me almost a year to prepare. We set a date: November 6, 2024. During this time, I had an inspiration: I created the group "SWG." The project took four months of intense work to complete. I presented the idea to Kang, and he liked it and said he would support the project. In the meantime, I was selected for another audition in Korea. They asked me to come to Korea on a specific date and month and said they would arrange a place for me to stay and participate in the competition. I said I couldn't go because I didn't have the money at the time, so they simply ignored me. I wanted to be loyal to Kang's small company, as I had promised, so after a while, I started ignoring another company that had contacted me. I still needed to finalize and structure the marketing strategies for the project and the necessary investment specifications for the group, something that could take approximately six months and include around 1,000 slides and other documents. Meanwhile, while preparing the marketing strategies for the group, Kang began to ignore me for an as-yet-unknown reason. I became discouraged. I became so discouraged that I stopped working on the marketing strategies and realized that perhaps I shouldn't have ignored other companies that wanted me. I simply wanted to give up on everything; it's very difficult to work without some kind of financial or business support. I was working so hard on the project that I simply ignored the people around me, including my family. During this period, I ended up having a burnout that made me lose the desire to do everything I loved, including music. I simply lost the desire to be an artist. So I wanted to give up, but while on YouTube, I came across "Agust D," the artist who sparked these dreams in me when I was 13. Hearing the song "Snooze," I finally felt the support I needed, and so I wrote a response song on June 6, 2024, called "Rosa Azul." During this time, I started thinking about the negative aspects of being an artist, such as being yelled at, exaggerated compliments, unrequited love, lack of privacy, mental exhaustion, and lack of time to focus on myself. I also learned during this period that sometimes we get so focused on our dreams that we forget to improve ourselves as human beings. The years pass so quickly, and over time we realize that we may never feel the same way again. My feelings that I had over many years simply faded. Emotions change, experiences transform us, and what was once intense can become just memories. Because people change all the time, and so do their thoughts, feelings, and opinions. Each person lives in their own world. While you see one reality or a phase of life, someone else may experience something completely different. This requires patience and empathy. We shouldn't expect everyone to think like us. It's important not to fixate on a single thing for too long. Our minds have the power to create unrealistic scenarios and possibilities that don't exist. This can generate unnecessary anxiety and frustration. The world we live in is built by our actions. There's no set destiny, only choices. Therefore, we shouldn't expect something to be prepared for us. Just go after what you want, and if something doesn't happen as expected, we must accept that there are many things we can avoid, but others that simply cannot be changed. In these cases, acceptance is the only possible path. After all, one day we will all die, and that is part of human existence. What we do between the beginning and the end is what truly matters. I'm currently taking care of my mental health. The burnout I suffered was very severe, and I had to be hospitalized and take heavy medication. And it was in this darkness that songs like Snooze made me find a reason to live again. My only dream is to meet Agust D. submitted by /u/snow20300612 [link] [comments]

33. Rosé desperately needs a new stylist and glam team to match her potential

As the title states: Rosé needs an improved stylist and glam team. It’s no secret that looking amazing at red carpet and press events does a lot of good for generating buzz and catching the public’s eye. For an easy comparison, look at Lisa. Her team has been pulling out all of the stops and she has been looking stunning and it’s keeping her in the press. Rosé is everywhere right now and I would love to see more looks that compliment her better! How much of what we’ve seen from Rosé do you think is her own influence? What styles would you like to see her in? Who are artists you’ve seen stay relevant through their fashion choices? submitted by /u/micdoesreddit [link] [comments]

34. aespas strange presence is not that big of a problem

  • reddit.com language

this might might be a little controversial. i’m going to give them their 10’s because they improved a lot in their performances and stage presence. i totally agree with the criticism bcs they’ve debuted for a while and not a drastic improvement. people need to understand aespa is vocal centered yk? like how itzy is dance centered? and at the end of the day i’m just here for the music. when i turn on spotify i’m not seeing their faces but listening to the most angelic vocals submitted by /u/GYUSLOV3R [link] [comments]

35. Opinions about Le Sserafim and Stray Kids' performance at Popular Culture Exchange Committee Launch?

Did you guys watch it? If you did, did you like? As a Fearnot-Stay im just so so happy they were invited here, both groups deserve it so much and the performances were incredible! Just so proud 💕 It also makes me a bit emotional since Le Sserafim was called the "national disgrace" but were invited here to such a huuuge stage. This is 2nd time Stray Kids perfoms in front of a SK president btw!!! Also something funny that happened is that Lee Know didnt stop haunting butts even in such a big moment lol submitted by /u/DryPollution3147 [link] [comments]
