Some idol will send a good morning or stay safe it's snowing message on bubble and their fans will be all " HES SO SWEET HOW COULD ANYONE EVER HATE HIM HES ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT OTHERS" like bfr that is literally their job why would fans even pay for bubble subscriptions if they don't send any messages (apparently people get refunded if they send 0 messages). And this being the most low effort message anyone could ever send. Mind you the same people will be out flaming other idols for not being as authentic as their favs. AND I DONT GET PEOPLE GATEKEEPING BUBBLE MESSAGES EITHER ITS LIKE EVERY OTHER PAID CONTENT IF YOURE OK WITH OTHER PAID CONTENT (THAT YOU CANT AFFORD) BEING SHARED IN THE FANDOM THEN WHY ARE SOME MESSAGES WHAT YOU NEED TO GATEKEEP FROM OTHERS. (I do get sometimes they end up sharing spoilers but you can stil keep them in the dms) submitted by /u/robin_hearts [link] [comments]

I see a lot of people talking about post concert depression being the worst feeling after a concert, but can we talk about concert pre-anxiety? As someone who has experienced both and is currently going through concert pre anxiety (because in two weeks I’ll be going to Stray kids concert again) I can officially say that pre-concert anxiety is way worse for me, especially if you’re already an anxious person like me. Sometimes it gets so intense that I literally can’t sleep the night before. If I’m lucky, I manage to get at least 2 hours of sleep. Then there are those moments when your mind races through every possible negative scenario that might somehow prevent you from going. Right now, I’m in that state. submitted by /u/ForceApprehensive597 [link] [comments]
I've seen a lot of people do this and it looks so fun. Give me a number and I'll shuffle my playlist and give you the song that comes first. (May include some non kpop song if so I'll give another kpop song) submitted by /u/This-Magician-1829 [link] [comments]
I was scrolling through Instagram and YouTube comments and a bunch of people were leaving negative comments. Most of them were pretty copy and pasted saying things like so and so is ugly, this song sucks, or the group/idol is a flop. These comments aren't funny or entertaining. They won't make your faves more popular. In fact, it can have the opposite as it gives your faves' fandom a bad reputation making people less likely to stan. What these comments are is annoying and loser behavior. You don't have to like every group I know there are groups I don't like but I also don't go out of my way to find their stuff and leave hate comments or if their post comes across my I just scroll past. As a fan, these types of comments are annoying because when I am looking at my fave's posts and content I don't want to be bombarded with negative or unrelated comments. Use the energy you are putting into negative comments to leave positive comments or idols/groups you do like or if you must make hate comments about a group do it on a site like Reddit or Twitter just not directly on posts or videos. submitted by /u/AfraidInspection2894 [link] [comments]
Obviously we can’t predict the future and K-pop stans (myself) are prone to saying dumb shit sometimes. What’s something K-pop related that you said or did that wound up not aging well? I’ll go first: When Omega X first debuted I tweeted about how cool Spire Entertainment was for the idea of bringing former nugus together and that they seemed like a pretty chill company. Later events uhhh disproved that to say the least. Taeil was my bias wrecker in NCT, I liked watching videos of him and bought a couple photocards. Those have since been trashed. This was mostly copium on my part as an UP10TION ult but I said that maybe Hwanhee and Xiao could pull a NU’EST for the group by going on Boys Planet 💔 On a more positive note I tweeted that there was no way Kep1er would be able to stay together bc that’s never happened for a project group before, I’m pretty happy I was wrong I said there was no way Hitomi from IZONE would redebut in Korea after spending such a long time post-disbandment just in Japan, I’m also really glad I was wrong about this one submitted by /u/silverdust29 [link] [comments]
I’ve been rewatching some 2nd gen girl group performances lately, and I can’t help but think about miss A and the whole “Suzy situation.” I don’t want to sound bitter because I genuinely think Suzy is talented and worked hard, but the way JYP handled the group dynamic is still frustrating even years later. Let’s be real Suzy blew up almost immediately after debut. She was literally everywhere: dramas, CFs, variety shows, acting gigs, you name it. While that’s great for her career, it felt like JYP completely forgot that miss A was a group. The other members Fei, Jia, and Min were incredibly talented too, but they barely got the same opportunities or support. Eventually, miss A stopped feeling like a group and more like "Suzy and the backup dancers," which sucks because their music was amazing, and they had so much potential as a unit. The favoritism was just too obvious. And yeah, I get it Suzy was a moneymaker but it came at the cost of the group’s cohesion. Fast forward to now, Suzy’s obviously thriving as an actress (good for her!), but the way she’s distanced from the other members is noticeable. She didn’t show up to Min’s wedding this year, and Fei and Jia were there, and Fei even made a 15th-anniversary post that kinda shaded Suzy (her face was half-covered in the group photo 💀). I’m not saying they all need to be besties or anything, but I think fans just wanted some closure or a moment of mutual respect. Instead, it feels like there’s still some awkwardness or maybe even resentment. We'll probably never know the full story, but it's just one of those K-pop “what could’ve been” situations. Anyone else still think miss A deserved better? submitted by /u/Mystic_bhumiverse [link] [comments]
Being popular inside the fandom vs being popular outside the fandom. I've seen many instances where popular members outside the fandom, are insulted for voice tones, their expressions, their attitude etc, and don't get as much backlash for it compared to the members popular inside the fandom. I also have this notion that less biased or less popular members have pity stans, thus their schedule, workload, variety appearances receive more attention from within the fandom, and fans take more care to watch or stream those members. None of this is comfirmed, these are just my thoughts. Please, if you can, give examples supporting or going against the above. submitted by /u/Full-Amoeba5171 [link] [comments]
Throwback to one of the most underrated yet talented girl groups out there. As someone who was super into kpop during 2nd/3rd gen but has been out of the loop for a few years, I’ve been curious lately. What is this community’s general opinion on 9muses? Are they even on the radar for younger fans or are they more of a hidden gem from the past? And for good measure, here’s their most underrated and best title track: https://youtu.be/eycIuUZyJPY?si=jNWWrmjh-NTZKT03 submitted by /u/intro_spections [link] [comments]
Babymonster isn't my fav group but I think it will be really cool if they cover mirotic by tvxq and thunderous by skz. submitted by /u/Klutzy-Advisor2003 [link] [comments]
I’ve been keeping an eye on KiiiKiii lately 👀 They’ve got something really interesting going on. How about you? Any rookie group or member that’s grabbed your attention recently? 💖 submitted by /u/Hot-Falcon3329 [link] [comments]
Todays letter is C. Rules are simple just comment an idol you like who's name begins with C. Top 3-5 idols (depending on the amount of comments) win! Upvotes and comments count towards the number of votes so make sure to comment and upvote other comments mentioning your idol. :) You can comment multiple idols but please comment then separately so that I can count the votes fairly and easily! If there's multiple in one comment I can't tell who's upvoting for what idol so I can't count it towards the results unfortunately. (Picture is Itzy Chaeryeong) Our Alphabet so far: A: ✿︎ 1. Oh My Girl Arin ✿︎ 2. Soloist AleXa ✿︎ 3. Baby Monster Asa ✿︎ 4. Ive An Yu-jin ✿︎ 5. Soloist Ailee and F(X) Amber ✿︎ B: ✿︎ 1. TXT Beomgyu ✿︎ 2. Stray Kids Bang Chan ✿︎ 3. EXO Baekhyun ✿︎ 4. KiiiKiii is planning to have a comeback in August. Does anybody have any thoughts on what direction they might go towards? I fully believe the theory that I Do Me's success changed their debut plans. They had so many signs that Groundwork would be their debut TT, content they originally filmed basically shows they were meant to promote I Do Me then Groundwork, the hints for the TT on their website pointed towards Groundwork, and after promotions they released a Groundwork MV. (A high-quality MV with choreography, outfit changes, etc.) It looks like they had everything set to promote Groundwork as the TT, saw the success of I Do Me, and switched the TT to the song closest to I Do Me. (BTG) And since BTG didn't reach the same levels as I Do Me, they bumped up the pre-release single to be a TT. If you look at any media before/during their release of I Do Me it's listed as a pre-release; now it's listed as a TT. (Even on MelOn it's marked as the title) I've seen people blame this on the confusing marketing they rolled out, with all the other things they've changed it seems more like they altered stuff depending on the public's reception. It really feels like the success of I Do Me completely changed their original fun/quirky vibes they had planned for the group. Do we think Starship is going to stick with the original fun/quirky vibe for them or go towards a "safer" more mainstream sound? Not hate in anyway, I love them, just curious on what is more likely at this point. submitted by /u/ButterflyMinute9605 [link] [comments]

It’s an interesting view on how the songwriting process takes place. Hope I’m not violating any rules by linking this interview. https://genius.com/discussions/500181-Interview-ejae-on-writing-the-hits-and-singing-for-rumi-in-kpop-demon-hunters submitted by /u/Ploumplume [link] [comments]
