was just wanting to know other ppls experiences meeting idols! i'd love to hear any stories i recently ran into yunjin from lsf and her sister in my medium sized city, i was clearly geeking out to my boyfriend and she noticed, looked at me and smiled. i was in sweats and had groceries with me, plus i also didn't want to interrupt her family time so i just hit her with the 🫶🏼 and walked away submitted by /u/whoopsiedaiseee [link] [comments]
I just went on Youtube and saw 'apt' in my recommendations. I know of the song obviously, it was everywhere a few months ago, but my eyes practically popped out of my skull when I saw the view count... 2 BILLION?? the song isn't even a year old yet. I clicked on the video and got recommended kpop demon hunters music videos and had the same reaction because the views are HIGH, especially for not even being 4 months yet. Now obviously these songs were hugely popular for just the general public, but there's one demographic that I think is underestimated that contribute majorly to these numbers... kids. Remember those video's of kids being obsessed with APT a few months back? Or just now kids and their obsession with Kpop demon hunters? You might be thinking 'well obviously they might bring in some of the views' but I think it's a lot more than just 'some'. Just look at COCOMELON. BTS and BLACKPINK might have around 8 MVs with over a billion views respectively, but they don't have anything on COCOMELON, that channel has like 22 videos with over a billion views, with the banger 'the wheels on the bus' at 8 BILLION All that to say, kids will watch things again and again and again and again... They make great streamers lol. This isn't meant to discredit how popular the releases are, because I mean it would be stupid to try and make that point when the songs were unavoidable, but I guess with this also comes the sentiment that views often don't mean everything lol. I mean that god awful 'dame tu cosita' song also has 5 billion views... submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]

I am so excited for her, this is her first collab with another artist. I remember being surprised when zayn attended BLACKPINK concert with his daughter, but now I know he was invited by jisoo. It's a ballad song not pop , so I don't think this is for views. But I want it to be go good for her, also her full length album will be releasing at the end of this year ,so wishing her luck on that. What do u guys think about this Collab? submitted by /u/narcissawhite [link] [comments]

I've recently seen some kpop artists, being slammed or called out for wearing braids and saying the its a slur or cultural appropriation. Hani, Lisa from BP, Hwasa, Tarzzan from Alldayproject etc. So I did some checking about this issue and whilst yes white people can wear braids it's the context that can become offensive. What's your opinion? submitted by /u/JustSelection416 [link] [comments]

I know that this is "old" news and it's no secret that yedam from one pact had a crazy transformation, but I just wanted to know what kind of procedures he did and more specifically if there's any way to find out who his surgeon is, especially for K-pop celebrities because I think his change is really nice and the work was done well submitted by /u/nowallies [link] [comments]
