It sounds like it came out in like 2013 and not today and not in a cool y2k way. It sounds so artificial and annoying to me. I'm disappointed because twice is one of my top favourites and I could've never seen a flop like this coming from them. Ofc everybody is hyping it up like it's the best song of the year. I seriously have to disagree. It's basically no different than Katy Perry's woman's world. It just gives me the ick. And the irony as well that they may have edited a members body shape 👀 in a music video of some kinda cringe ass girl power song is crazyyy. Anyways I just needed to complain cause idk why everyone is hyping this song tf up. We need to stop lyinggggg to these groups so that we get more good stuff instead of cringe. submitted by /u/HeebieJeebiex [link] [comments]

To top it all off, Jihyo’s life as a trainee and idol has been longer than my entire existence on Earth. Side Note: Before training at JYPE, she trained at SM Entertainment for a year. submitted by /u/why_dmn [link] [comments]

unfortunately... my last post on my other account was unfairly downvoted when i was just trying to explain what my meditation and guide have shown me about enhypens souls (crestlessjoe)- you HAVE to be aware of what kind of souls the media you consume is exposing you to. pm with any questions - i got a request for a bts soul ranking so that one is coming soon (working towards uncovering the truth about their souls!!) submitted by /u/CrestedJoe [link] [comments]
I attended the deadline tour last night (07/13/25) in LA and had a blast. I so notice since the tour started that people online keep posting about Jennie being “lazy” and or taking “breaks” during performances of some songs. I didn’t notice this during my experience, but I could be in the moment, but I just wanted to get people’s opinions and thoughts on this? Take everything into consideration (good and bad) before commenting. submitted by /u/karinasrabbit [link] [comments]

So I have been a big fan of JYPE groups (Jyp included) for over 5 years and I have noticed something. I don't know if it's just me but JYPE ENTERTAINMENT feels like a company that makes music because Jyp (the guy) and the people there genuinely love music not because they want money (unlike YG ENTERTAINMENT). JYPE ENTERTAINMENT also feels like a small company that doesn't care about their artists fame and who unexpectedly became big. Like when Jyp made the company his goal was never to build one of the biggest company in Korea, it was only to make music, help people make their dreams come true and have fun. Even now I think it's the same (Please don't drag me for this post I'm writing this at 3am) submitted by /u/straykifsontop [link] [comments]

For a lot of K-pop groups trying it out with the West, they'll always release an English version and it usually gets a few thousand streams then fizzles out, do you think a lot of the lack of repeat has to do with the poor pronunciation of most K-pop groups? submitted by /u/woahwoahvicky [link] [comments]
The police have concluded that former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin is not guilty of breach of duty. On July 15, Min Hee-jin’s side announced, “Following over a year of police investigation into the breach of duty charges filed by HYBE in April 2024, the conclusion is that Min Hee-jin did not commit any illegal acts. As of the 15th, both cases filed by HYBE have been dismissed with a decision of no charges.” https://m.entertain.naver.com/home/article/108/0003347556 submitted by /u/redubellbet [link] [comments]
Before anyone accuses me of shading BLACKPINK or Jennie, I genuinely want to ask why does it seem like Jennie sometimes has trouble performing on stage? There have been several recent clips circulating on other platforms where she appears to stop dancing mid-performance, and in one of them, Rosé looks either concerned or maybe annoyed, I'm not entirely sure. I know BLACKPINK antis often label the girls as lazy, but I wonder if there might be an underlying reason, like a medical condition or performance-related anxiety? I'm asking this out of curiosity, not judgment. submitted by /u/Diligent_Thought_165 [link] [comments]

I wanted to write this rant because Taemin is my ult and the behavior of kpop fans towards him this past week really pissed me off so here it goes. The way these kpop fans have been mocking and hating on Taemin for the past week reminded me how shallow this industry is. He is an incredibly hard working and talented idol. If you are not very familiar with him, he debuted from a very young age and has worked really hard to build a legacy both as a soloist and as a SHINee member. He has been active as an idol for 17 years. Now, I know that his music is not everyone’s cup of tea. Some people even have a dislike for him, I’m aware of that. But the amount of hate and mockery he got since last weekend? He hasn’t done anything to deserve it. Yes, he altered his appearance and not everyone has to like the change but that doesn’t give you the right to say horrible things about him. He might be an idol but he is a person with feelings just like you and me. Imagine seeing how there are posts with 50k likes and 100k views making fun of how you look. He might be a strong person but it gets to a point. And like I said at the beginning of the post, this just shows how shallow and heartless most kpop fans are. A ton of people that never talked about his talent or music before are now making posts about his looks. These people are just helping make this industry as toxic as it already is. Hope no other idol has to go through this train of hate because of how they look. And I hope that Taemin has a strong support system and is able to take care of his mental health. submitted by /u/Marandry [link] [comments]

Please stream WwinkK. The songs are ACTUALLY good (even if the members aren’t real 😭) There’s a new virtual K-pop group called WwinkK, similar to MAVE or K/DA, and I know that might sound like a gimmick at first. But the music? Genuinely good. Not “good for a virtual group,” just solid K-pop. They’re super nugu right now with barely any streams or exposure, which is a shame because the production quality is impressive and the songs are really catchy. If you're into polished, Y2K-inspired pop with a slightly futuristic vibe, give them a chance. “Sugar Virus” and “LEFT N RIGHT” are easily their best tracks. Both have clean production, addictive hooks, and sound more fresh and refined than a lot of what’s being released right now. They’re on Spotify and YouTube. Just search WwinkK. Support them before they get buried under the algorithm 😭 If you end up listening, let me know your thoughts. https://open.spotify.com/artist/6zDVeUIZdzlqKxj6yzSeSd https://www.youtube.com/@WwinkK.starRiSE submitted by /u/Critical-Ad-7193 [link] [comments]
