I love the song but I think the line distribution was too unequal. Rumi had an entire verse to herself. The girl have amazing stage presence but their stylists really need to experiment with new hairstyles atp. submitted by /u/Same-Feeling7331 [link] [comments]

This isn't to put down any group, I'm just curious on what others feel like katseye is doing different compared to girl groups in the past that were popular like fifth Harmony and Little mix. Around 2016 fifth Harmony was the biggest girl group in the West and to this day I'm still confused as to how they fell off. Now it is Katseye's turn, and I don't know if it's just a cycle of Western group singers but it still feels like katseye might last longer than these groups from before. It could be their backing from a kpop industry model or just the newer generations more open to groups again due to kpop compared to older gen Z who kinda " gave up " on the concept in favor of Independent artist. submitted by /u/MochaMilku [link] [comments]
*Note: You can just list the idols, I will guess your birth month! As a December and Sagittarius girly, K-Pop idols that shared the same birth month and zodiac sign as me are Sunghoon and Ni-ki (ENHYPEN), Jin (BTS), Soobin (TXT), Yuna (ITZY), Yuri (SNSD), etc. | (they are mostly my biases and bias wrecker lolš) submitted by /u/Specific_Cake_5410 [link] [comments]
I'll go first: So, for the past few days moas have been staying up until 12 AM KST to see if TXT drops their new album logo motion. Its kind of become a tradition to see what fun things bighit can do with the letters TXT for their albums. Its been mayhem so far but finally, moas are getting a full album that'll be called The Star Chapter: Together which will be a full circle for their Lore and it connects all the way back to their debut and concept! The Star Chapter: Together will be dropping on July 21st at 5 AM EST. Combine that with the fact that their upcoming tour is called ACT: Tomorrow... I can only imagine what they have in store for everyone. On top of that TXT is also having a comeback in March! Busy. Also, Yeonjun was revealed to be the inspo behind Kpop Demon Hunter's character Romance and everyone was foaming at the mouth over it because alot of people pointed out how similar Romance looked to Yeonjun's Blue Hour era. Also, &TEAM is on tour right now and they just visited Nicholas' hometown. This is very exciting because Nicholas has said that performing in his hometown is a dream of his and they treat him like the prince of Taiwan there. He brought the members home and they ate lots of food and spent time with his family. Very sweet! Anyways, feel free to share what exciting things are happening for your fandoms submitted by /u/Nynasa [link] [comments]

Their physical album sales are still surprisingly low, just around 10,000 copies, despite strong digital chart performance. Is this because a limited physical release? Or their fanbase is still relatively small, also there's no ācompany stanā backing them? And probably digital platforms, doesnāt always translate to physical sales? submitted by /u/matt_vaghn [link] [comments]

Iām sorry I didnāt mean it in a bad way. I was just curious pls donāt hate me š There is a new group THAT HASNāT DEBUTED YET. This new group posted a new intro mv on x, and yet there are moas qrt accusing them of copying txt, and are talking about artistry of the work.. when both txt and this new groupās intro vid have the same creative director..? they say they arenāt hating on the group but they are hating on the company. Iām not sure what to think abt this? any thoughts? submitted by /u/cacaisheereeere [link] [comments]

https://youtu.be/UPoS4-MrYXc?si=WZwIXc4kLtQTms8P They are not k-pop, but the song is worth listening to. It is an unusual experiment. submitted by /u/Efficient_Summer [link] [comments]
Sure, asia is currently going off in the LGBT rights manner, however, this has not yet reached South Korea. Albeit there have been idols coming out as part of the community, there is a line in where an idol's identity is unknown, and this is where we reach a point of invasive behavior towards other human being. Sure, there might be things in kpop which are not entirely straight like songs, concept or even people, that is most likely not the case due to South Korea's unbroken conservative nature. Take Katseye, for example. Lara Raj came out of the closet at her own time and by her own choice, however, another member, Daniela, had to clarify that she was not part of the community, because of the constant pressure towards her and pairing with other group members. This is the previoulsy memtioned line where fans are invasive. There has been another member who is part of the LGBTQ community, Megan, whose coming was forced, though celebrated. Of course, who knows how many idols have not yet revealed their identity, and with South Korea's views, they are more likely not to do so, so please, give idols their privacy and respect their identity, who, shockingly for some people, can be heterosexual. I'm not putting any blame on manhwas or dramas, as they are works of fiction and fiction needs to be separated from reality, but it is really imperative to take note of where is somebody else's privacy being violated. submitted by /u/ratonvacilon23 [link] [comments]
